My fridge was freezing food, so I called All About Appliances, which had serviced it several years ago and with whom I'd had a good experience. The owner, Eric, was dealing with an aching back, but still made it out and determined I needed a new thermostat. My Whirlpool fridge is pretty old and that thermostat has been discontinued, but he still managed to track one down, came out and installed it, charged me a very reasonable price and fixed the issue. Eric came. Eric got tools out. Eric begins to install. I had already uninstalled the old plumbing as I had decided to do it myself but at 71 yrs old I found myself faltering and called Eric aka All About Appliances so I could relax for once while somebody else did the install. In the first ten minutes Eric admits he has not installed sinks so much. I get nervous. I now watch in horror as he attempts to install something he does not have any expertise of. If I could do it over again, I would now ask him to leave. Instead I watched for about 2 hours as he struggled to understand what was needed to install a sink. He left after two hours and left my sink uninstalled. To get him out without a problem I handed him 200 hundred dollars and said thanks. I did not want to have any arguments. I am now installing the sink myself. read more

Had a dishwasher stop working and they were out the day after I called. Had to order the part, took the time to explain what 'was needed and expense. When the part came in they came back and determined we would benefit from changing another part to ensure the first part didn't go out again. They again took the time to explain why it would be another part, what the expense would be, how it would benefit. I decided to go with their recommendation and the part came in quickly and they came back to complete the repair. All of this happened during the holidays and they still had my dishwasher back up in a week. I feel comfortable the added part replacement will extend the life of the dishwasher. They were always neat, on time, courteous, and reasonably priced. I will go to them for any and all needs. read more
