Very Disappointing Experience with RepairAll…read more
I originally went to RepairAll on Friday to have my phone screen replaced. When I picked up my phone approximately two hours later, I was with my 12-year-old son. The customer service experience was extremely uncomfortable. While we were in the store, we could hear a woman screaming at a man in the back, including cursing and discussing personal relationship issues. Regardless of what was happening between the employees, customers should not have to listen to that--especially with a child present.
I trusted that the screen had been properly replaced and did not expect to have to thoroughly inspect a brand-new screen for problems before leaving the store. Given the uncomfortable situation happening in the store, my priority at that point was simply getting my son out of there.
Unfortunately, the problems started immediately after the repair. That same day, I noticed significant touchscreen lag. My phone was also getting hot much faster than it had before the repair, and the battery was draining much more quickly than it had previously. I had not experienced any of these issues before the screen replacement.
I called the store that same day and left a message, but they were already closed. I called again on Saturday to let the woman know about my concerns. I explained that I would try to come in over the weekend but likely would not be able to because my son had a volleyball tournament.
I tried returning on Monday around 6 PM, but despite their posted hours stating that they were open until 7 PM, the store was closed and there was a note on the door. I returned again on Wednesday before 7 PM, and once again the store was closed during its posted business hours.
I was finally able to bring my phone back to the store on Thursday. I was then told there was a small crack or scratch on the screen and was asked if I had dropped the phone. I explained that nothing had happened to the phone. I was then told I would need to pay nearly $100 for another screen replacement.
That is extremely frustrating because RepairAll had just replaced the screen, and the touchscreen lag, overheating, and rapid battery drain all began immediately after their repair. The gentleman I spoke with attributed the problems to the age of the phone. However, I had never experienced any heating or battery-draining issues before Repair All replaced my screen.
What makes this even more concerning is that RepairAll advertises a one-year warranty on its work. I paid full price for the original screen replacement with the expectation that the repair would be covered by that warranty. Instead, I am now being asked to pay nearly another $100 for a screen that was just replaced.
I also came across another review from Mary P. in Oakwood, CA, dated 07/14/26, describing a similar experience involving a screen replacement, problems occurring afterward, and being asked to pay again after the business identified a small mark on the screen. Seeing that review made my experience even more concerning because of the similarities.
I cannot speak to anyone else's experience, but based on what happened to me, I am very disappointed with Repair All. Customers should be able to trust that when they pay full price for a screen replacement with a one-year warranty, the company will stand behind its work--particularly when problems begin immediately after the repair.
My experience has been frustrating from beginning to end: the uncomfortable customer service environment, difficulty contacting the store, the store being closed multiple times during its posted business hours, problems beginning immediately after the repair, and ultimately being asked to pay nearly $100 more.
I hope RepairAll will reconsider this situation and honor the warranty on the original repair rather than charging me again for a problem that arose immediately after the screen replacement.
Based on my experience, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere and choosing a repair shop that will stand behind its work and treat its customers fairly.
