First, the repair took about a week. I understand this was a couple of weeks before Christmas (last year), and shops can be short staffed or dealing with employees being out sick. What I don't understand is why I had to call every single day just to get an update. Communication throughout the entire process was almost nonexistent. The day I picked up my car, I noticed a strong burning oil smell just before I got home. I immediately turned around and drove back to the shop, where they discovered they had forgotten to reinstall a transmission seal. As a result, transmission fluid had leaked all over my exhaust. When I got home, I checked the transmission fluid myself and found it was nearly empty. Running a manual transmission that low on fluid can cause serious and potentially permanent damage. I took the car to another shop to have the fluid topped off, and they also discovered that Eagle Transmission had forgotten to reinstall one of the exhaust bolts that had been removed during the clutch job. Unfortunately, the problems didn't stop there... I began experiencing hydraulic issues with the clutch and returned to speak with the owner, Scott. I explained my concerns, including the fact that the transmission had never been properly refilled after they corrected the leak. Rather than addressing the workmanship, Scott's response was, "Your transmission is a piece of sh*t. It has spray paint on it, which means it's from a junkyard. You need a transmission rebuild, and that'll cost you another $2,000." If that were true, and my transmission was in such poor condition, you would think they would have mentioned it before installing the new clutch instead of after I returned with problems. To make matters even more concerning, Scott didn't even know where the transmission dipstick was while we were discussing the fluid level. I was so frustrated and insulted, I had to walk out. After receiving advice with another Eagle Transmission location in Cedar Park and doing some research, I returned a few days later and simply asked Scott if they could bleed the clutch hydraulic system. Even after our debate I offered to pay for the service, but he flat out refused. I'm a very patient individual and rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with an automotive repair shop. Between the lack of communication, careless workmanship, missing hardware, a transmission left nearly empty of fluid, and the way my concerns were completely dismissed, I cannot recommend this location to anyone... especially if you own a manual transmission vehicle. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else avoid the frustration, wasted time, and unnecessary expense that I went through.

They were busy but were able to get me into the shop a week later. Well, it took all of 15 minutes to determine that I didn't need any of the recommended repairs. All Tune took the time to show me the parts in question and treated me respectfully. They also looked up my service schedule and let me know when I would really need to perform maintenance. I had purchased the battery from this shop about a year ago and was told it had a 3-year warranty, so I came in expecting to have the battery replaced under warranty. Instead, I was told there was nothing wrong with my battery. The situation then turned into an issue with my alternator. I was initially quoted $1,500 for a new alternator, then $1,200, and eventually told Randy's "homeboy" could do it for $500 cash. I told him I didn't have $500, and he asked, "What do you have?" He eventually agreed to $200 cash. When I came back for clarification, I was told I was getting a brand-new alternator. However, when I returned, the same alternator was still on my car. I was then told that the positive wire on the alternator had been fixed and the alternator had been cleaned, and that was what the $200 was for. I was given a $0 receipt for the warranty battery, but no itemized receipt explaining the $200 cash charge. I left extremely confused and feeling like I had been misled about what work was actually being done. I don't know a lot about cars, but customers deserve honesty, clear communication, and documentation of what they are paying for. I personally feel like I was taken advantage of. Forgot to check the other mount? No, denied the warranty. Sooooo, I get the motor mount fixed and not 2 weeks later, my Honda w a NEWLY rebuilt transmission wouldn't shift into 4th gear. So I brought it back to my local Aamco and was told my radiator was bad and it ruined my brand new transmission in 6 weeks. They denied my warranty again . This time, quoting me ANOTHER $5000+ I have receipts that show my radiator was replaced 6 months before my transmission was rebuilt. I got scammed. Lied to. Half-truths about how easy and extensive the warranty worked. The manager there is a dishonest person. You can't trust him. Warning: DEFINITELY NEVER go to this specific Aamco!!!!!! I drive my car today to find my back right tire completely BUSTED. I take the car to the shop and I'm told it could only be the possibility's of a nail or just bad luck. NO. My tire is completely ruined because the shop either did not rotate them properly or they were just careless. Or even worse this could've been a manipulative way to get more money out of me and they did it on purpose. I have no way of proving the fact that I know it's the shop's fault and they are trying to make me pay $200 to fix it. If a nail had busted the tire, then it would've only deflated. If I would've hit a curb, then I would've known! My father died last year and passed this car down to me. He made sure it was in perfect condition and I only wanted to continue that coming to this shop yesterday. My tire is completely ruined hours after leaving an auto shop and the shop wants to convince me they had nothing to do with it? Um no. To have the tire ruined by someone and have it blamed on "luck" is just a lie and beyond devastating.
