i want it to be known right now that my wife & I love our new windows that were installed. However…read moreafter the windows were installed Mark Davis came by my home and he walked around with my wife to do overall inspection before we paid final balance. That day everything looked good until several days later. My right front garage window frame had turned a yellowish color down the one side. Mark came and looked at it and said it wasn't from his guys that it had to be from the stucco crew that had to redo all my bands around every window. BTW that crew did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them and as I said HomeRite as well. Mark reached out to stucco man, which we will call him "T" He came out and looked and said it's nothing his guys could have done but that he would take care of it. We were told on March 9th see you this week. As of today 4/3 haven't seen or heard back. Due to T having some health issue i decided not to try and contact him. My reason is this. My wife & I along with other family members do not believe it was from the stucco crew. This is what we believe happen. On every window install the guys had to use a special type of glue/caulking around the backside of the frame before installing it in the opening. We think that particular window got way too much adhesive and it oozed out and got on the frame and dried without someone catching this which now due to weather elements we believe it has turned it yellow. So here is my issue of why I did not rate them with 5 stars. We spent a lot of money for our windows and you would have thought someone from HomeRite would have followed up to be sure the window issue had been taken care of. Let me add this as well. Our windows were sitting in their warehouse for several weeks and I had to call to find out what the status was because we were suppose to have had them done before the end of 2024. I was told by there office someone dropped the ball and they were very apologetic. So we were moved on the schedule to January 13th. I guess the ball is still being dropped. Happy and Sad customer at the same time. Now I have to try and find something myself to take whatever this is off. Never at one time were my wife & I told, If it doesn't come off the frame we will get it replaced. Make sure you inspect every window with a fine tooth comb before signing off. After I posted the review I received a call the very next morning from Mr. Gates personally NOT to tell me how he didn't like my review BUT to tell me how sorry he was and that he himself was not aware of my issues. i told him I know my review wasn't all positive and gave him my apologies even though I had a concern. He said to me these words.... People will leave good & bad reviews with any company. He said I am not worried about your review BUT I am more concerned about my customer Tim Watson. WOW! That right there just reassured me that my wife and I made the RIGHT choice choosing HomeRite! He had me on a call with Mark & Jim. Mr.Gates had them at my home within 2 hours. Upon arrival they didn't get out of their trucks with attitudes BUT rather with a genuine concern and very apologetic. They discussed with me the install method to a detail and i was assured that the problem was not from HomeRite installation team. Things can happen sometimes when different subs our on a big project like mine was. It was just a simple error that came about with other work I had done. They were quick not to point fingers or judge just giving an explanation of the possible cause. Within about 30 minutes they had the frame spotless. Mr Gates thank you for being so concerned about your customer and I can not thank you enough for the quick turnaround. Mark & Jim I appreciate you both. And i know this sounds repetitive but I want to stress this. If you are in the market for new windows You will not go wrong choosing HomeRite Windows & Doors. They will do you a fabulous job and I promise you will sleep well knowing you chose this company. Mr. Gates & your team get 5 stars for excellent customer service and workmanship. We called New South Windows through replace our old 1973 aluminum single pane windows. Stephen…read moreZito, our sales representative was wonderful, very knowledgeable and initially presented us with an unbelievably expensive quote. As I began to tell him that it wasn't in my budget, he kept finding discounts and the price kept going down. We talked about the other quotes that I had received and the price was lowered one final time. We paid a 33% deposit and the deal was done. A few days later someone came out to test for lead paint, and to verify the measurements. It took what seemed like a long time to manufacture the 10 large windows, (4 months) but when they received any updates the office staff communicated with me. I was expecting 4-8 weeks. These windows were custom made, and the installation team all worked directly for New South Windows. So they all worked together well. The windows install was completely wrapped up in 5-6 hours. The 3 man crew knew what they were doing. One guy demolished the old windows, carefully removing the individual window pains so as to minimize the broken glass. The other 2 worked on the installation of the new windows, one working inside and one working outside. They worked diligently cleaning as they went. Bravo to Robert and his crew. After the installation was completed, I paid the remaining balance. The county building inspector came and was very satisfied with the installation. He verified the windows were all working and installed properly even measuring the distance between screws and comparing it to the architectural drawings. He said that New South has some of the best and cleanest installations that he sees. The service department at New South then came out to check over the installation, to install the caps and covers, which conceal the screws. Two of my windows had damaged /missing screen frames and the service department is on it. I will update when they make good on replacing the screens. My wife and I are very pleased.

Finally today, on the seventh trip to our home since last August, did they finally deliver the…read morecorrect window? Even the Better Business Bureau can't force an unscrupulous business to do the right thing. Seven times we had to move the furniture, take down the drapes and the shades. I'll need to find out six times they had the wrong window. They've had $19,000 of ours since last August and they haven't offered any financial compensation or anything For their adept business practices. I highly recommend everyone stay away from New South Window!

I am not sure who manages this company, but the system they have in place is a wreck. I made an…read moreappointment with their outsourced call/text service via Yelp. I believed I had scheduled an appointment, but it turned out I had only scheduled a call to make an appointment. I never got that call, and I wasted an hour waiting for them because believed I had an appointment, or at least that was the excuse I received when they called back days later. I scheduled another appointment with them when they called days later, and that appointment came and went with the no service and no phone calls. I wasted hours of my life only to be called to schedule another appointment that did not happen. I received a second apology call today, at 8PM, in which the technician called me buddy, made demands of me, talked poorly of the company, and expected my pity because he had been out for the day at the hospital. I totally understand changing appointments, but there needs to be a phone call letting the customer know PRIOR to the time of service, not five hours later. This is not the call center or technicians fault, someone in management needs to evaluate their systems, I am sure I am not the first person to have this issue. TLDR Don't call them, they don't show up to appointments, don't answer their own phones, and then act like it is your fault. PS the hours of operation don't match reality.

I was contacted by Mike from the Windows and Doors store. I told him I had a broken bottom window…read more on my hurricane window. He took information and then he said they could do the work. The next day, I was informed that they would not do the work, unless I replaced the entire window. Needless to say, we did not use them to fix the window.
