We called New South Windows through replace our old 1973 aluminum single pane windows. Stephen Zito, our sales representative was wonderful, very knowledgeable and initially presented us with an unbelievably expensive quote. As I began to tell him that it wasn't in my budget, he kept finding discounts and the price kept going down. We talked about the other quotes that I had received and the price was lowered one final time. We paid a 33% deposit and the deal was done. A few days later someone came out to test for lead paint, and to verify the measurements. It took what seemed like a long time to manufacture the 10 large windows, (4 months) but when they received any updates the office staff communicated with me. I was expecting 4-8 weeks. These windows were custom made, and the installation team all worked directly for New South Windows. So they all worked together well. The windows install was completely wrapped up in 5-6 hours. The 3 man crew knew what they were doing. One guy demolished the old windows, carefully removing the individual window pains so as to minimize the broken glass. The other 2 worked on the installation of the new windows, one working inside and one working outside. They worked diligently cleaning as they went. Bravo to Robert and his crew. After the installation was completed, I paid the remaining balance. The county building inspector came and was very satisfied with the installation. He verified the windows were all working and installed properly even measuring the distance between screws and comparing it to the architectural drawings. He said that New South has some of the best and cleanest installations that he sees. The service department at New South then came out to check over the installation, to install the caps and covers, which conceal the screws. Two of my windows had damaged /missing screen frames and the service department is on it. I will update when they make good on replacing the screens. My wife and I are very pleased. read more

Finally today, on the seventh trip to our home since last August, did they finally deliver the correct window? Even the Better Business Bureau can't force an unscrupulous business to do the right thing. Seven times we had to move the furniture, take down the drapes and the shades. I'll need to find out six times they had the wrong window. They've had $19,000 of ours since last August and they haven't offered any financial compensation or anything For their adept business practices. After a 2 hour visit. we received a free quote for 13 windows on a 1 story Florida home. The quote started out extremely high. After more discussion the qoute came down. Then the sales pitch started, saying if we commit today the price came way down. Then we started negotiating like we were at a car dealership, and the the sales person asked us to speak with his manager on the phone. The price came down again. We still held back on the deal and later that day the manager called me and lowered the price to what I wanted. The manager said he would make it up somewhere else. After reading more local reviews about poor customer service, high pressure sales tactics ( which i was part of), lack of follow up, installation issues, long wait times to resolve issues, and not fixing damage due to leaks we decided not to do business with New South. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. Customer service has been in significant decline over the last 3 years. I have used NSW twice now at one of my short term rentals on A1A, and fully regret my choice this second time around. The office personnel at NSW is incapable of scheduling appointments on the correct day. On my most recent purchase (a sliding exterior door), the technician arrived 5 hours late to the appointment and took 8 hours to install the 1 door. I was told this is supposed to be a 2 technician job. As a result, I had to wait around at the rental for a total of 13 hours for a job that I was told would take 5 hours total. NSW advised that they would contact me after install for inspection and follow up cap installation appointment. They did neither. I have had to take time out of my day to call them each time. My cap appointment was scheduled for yesterday at 9am. Because of their inability to correctly schedule the install appointment, I had Torianna Sluder (the woman who scheduled the appointment) send me an e-mail with that appointment's date and time. No one arrived at that time. I call their office and was advised the appointment was in their system for 2 days later at a different time. I explained the situation and was told that Wilson would be calling me to "figure it out". 30 some minutes later, Wilson called and did not offer any assistance, other than to say that he has been out for 6 weeks and he was just getting back to work. All he said was that they can come back in 2 days. As it's a short term rental (which I mention to every person at NSW every time I speak to them), the property is typically rented out. I had blocked off that specific day and no one was able to come. Wilson said he would call me back later in the day with an update. At 3:30pm, I still hadn't heard from him, so I called the office. No one could find Wilson, but said he was "there somewhere". Here we are, 24 hours later, and I still have no update about when my cap appointment is happening. This company is a complete and utter mess and no one at the company seems to care in the slightest. Prior to this horrid experience, I planned to use NSW for my primary home's sliding exterior doors and windows, but now I'll never purchase another product from them. I strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere!! read more

The best window replacement guys out there! Excellent experience from start to finish. We had five windows in our kitchen replaced by New South Window Solutions. I had gotten quotes from three companies, and the prices were all in the same ballpark. I was told my windows would be here in 12 weeks, but they were ready in 8 weeks. The installers were amazing! They cleaned everything up behind them and the windows fit and look great. County inspector commented that he has seen their work before and is always pleased with what he sees. A week later, another guy came out to install the trim pieces, and he was just as nice and professional as the installers. He even washed each window, inside and out. I've never been so disappointed in a company before. I could literally write a book on how many times they dropped the ball. I urge you to do your research and find another company if you need new windows. The sales person is good at selling and once they take your money you are at their mercy. They do not care about you, your house, or your time. Once they take your money you will have to call and talk to several different people who all give your conflicting info. My windows were finally installed and items in my house were broken, 10 screws were missing in two windows, and the final inspection was a joke bc it was never scheduled properly. I emailed management several times and the "market leader" claimed he called me three times. Never once did I have a missed call or voicemail from him. I could go on and on but the final straw is the last tech to came to my house did not close the back gate and my dog got out and we almost lost her. I wish I could give 0 stars. I am a single woman so finances are tight and these are quality replacement windows so they are pricey but I want the best and don't want to have to replace them again. They are beautiful and I feel more secure in my home now. I know I am going to save hundreds on my energy bills. Jason Miriello worked super hard to find me financing that met my unique needs. Once that was squared away they new south team carefully measured and began custom making my windows and sliding glass door. The installers were so professional and they arrived early finished early and cleaned up after themselves. When I contacted this company back in April, I had such high hopes. My husband and I were planning to renovate our Florida room and one of the first things on the list was to replace broken casement windows. We also needed to replace an old, worn front door. We met with the salesman and agreed upon the work and a price. We were scheduled to have three casement windows and our front door unit installed on June 29, 2022. The installers arrived on time and ready. However, upon examining the door system, the head installer questioned why we were removing the entire unit (side windows, upper window, etc.) and not just replacing the door. We told him that we were advised we could not to this and had to replace the entire unit. He assured us that this was not the case and we proceeded in a back and forth with him, the sales person and project manager for an hour before the installers finally got to work on the door unit. As it turns out, we did have to replace the entire unit because our original doors were custom made and too small. Back to the original plan. Moving on, the install of the door did have some issues, but, at the end of the day they were able to install it (with some minor issues that required another trip to adjust some things). The biggest problem was and still is with the three casement windows. They were made to the wrong dimensions. I don't know why the dimensions were not checked before the installers tore out my original windows, but now we are left with three windows that don't match and don't fit. We were advised by the project leader that the earliest we can expect our properly made windows is in early September. When questioned why the order couldn't be expediated, we were told we "can't jump ahead of everyone else." We waited our turn patiently and ,through no fault of ours, are left with unfinished windows. The project manager also tried to tell us that we should consider keeping the two oversized windows and he could just order another smaller window and it would be less time. This is NOT what we envisioned nor what we agreed upon. Early September got pushed to mid-September and now I am being told late September. The NewSouth "team" never calls with updates. I have to call them as each date comes and goes. All of our projects have been put one hold and we are wondering if we will ever get our (correct) windows. One of the main attributes of a good company is what they do to help the customer when something goes wrong. New South Windows does nothing. I will never recommend this company. This place is a joke. Susan Bolton was my sales rep and she promises a big game but can't deliver, then gets combative when asked about it. I felt pressured into buying then was extremely unhappy with the quality, workmanship and customer service. We paid $12,000 for new vinyl windows. Installation was poor and sloppy. Installers left broken glass and pieces in multiple locations inside our home. This was pointed out to the installers. Some windows do not function properly. New South Window Solutions technician tells us that it is due to an existing known design flaw of the window. Bottom line is the technician has advised that the problem cannot be resolved through repair or replacement of the window due to the design flaw. What a horrible way to do business with a customer. 6/02/2021 UPDATE: STILL WAITING ON WINDOWS!!! OVER 2 MONTHS SINCE "rush" ordered and STILL waiting! It's been almost 2 friggin' years since this job started and it's still not complete!!! 5/15/2021 UPDATE: It has been over 7 weeks. Not a peep from NSW about the status of my replacement windows. And when, if, they do come in, NSW probably won't work with my schedule since I work on call with the railroad now. They've even refused to come out on a weekend in the past. 3/26/2021 UPDATE: NSW Arrived 2 hours late yesterday. They brought all new windows to replace every window we originally had installed. 6 of them will need to be re-ordered, AGAIN, since they weren't built correctly at the factory. It already took 4 months to get these replacements. They say its on "rush" order. Well, so were the 2nd set of windows that took 4 months. They will not work with your schedule for installs. Pointed out the shoddy caulking work and got "That's just how it is because its a tight area. But, at least its sealed" Pointed out the damages to window sills and the floors. Received zero feedback. We talked about the white vinyl boards being installed to hide the absolutely crap lines that were cut. They told me that is standard. However, looking at customer images and their own websites gallery, I do not see the same vinyl boards on windows. When shown how the windows seemed to not all be installed at the same depths, they basically said its because of the way the house was built. That seemed weird since the old windows on the house are all evenly installed. Yes, these windows are lifetime warrantied. Probably because it feels like a lifetime getting them installed correctly. I doubt you'll ever see my windows featured in their gallery. We still have 10 other windows to replace in the house. Looks like we will be using a different company and just have mismatched windows. 10/19/2019: NSW installed 11 windows in our house to the tune of $10,000~. They sent 2 very unprofessional looking people. I have tattoos and nothing against body piercings. But don't show up for a job with your nipple rings showing and the shortest of shorts ever. The 2 guys hastily ripped windows from the house. They didn't snap any lines for the cuts, which made them all uneven. The stucco on the house cracked really bad as well from lack of care. Old windows were dropped, some shattered on the floor, creating gouges in the floor. No drop cloths were used and drywall dust was everywhere as well as caulking permanently stained into the wood floors. Had to have the house professionally cleaned. They used a torch on one window and burned the stucco. The windows were not installed evenly and foam coming out of the seams. Very ugly looking. Now, about a year after, all the windows need to be replaced because the special film has failed. It's taken several months for them to get new windows ready. Always the "next truck load" excuse. Now that they are ready, I was put on schedule for replacement, or so I thought. I just called today and asked about scheduling and they can't find us on their schedule! For $10,000... the first set of windows look like junk, installed all wonky, and failed. Even the county inspector was shocked by the install. I cannot rate the product as the sales tactics forced me to cancel the appointment and find a vendor less interested in my money and more interested in the job! The company requires the homeowner to be present for the 1 1/2 hour heavy sales pitch. They looked up my property and found it is in my significant others name. They wouldn't come unless she was present! This flags them to me as preparing to file construction liens for expensive work. I explained that if the quote for work was acceptable I would write them a check for the total. The lady continued that they could reschedule when my partner could be present but they wouldn't come without her being there. What's behind this tactic? I researched the top 3 window companies here in Jacksonville. All three came out and gave their demo. We used New South Window's and were very satisfied with the job. But since we still had the normal adjustments to be made, I wanted to see how they would respond to service calls before rating the company on Yelp. That's important as anyone can sell something but if they can't stand behind it then it's worthless. I'm happy to report that they do stand behind their product and highly recommend them! The only recommendation I'd make to New South Windows is to have the option of open window locks so the windows can remain open at night. read more

Then you learn JEA doesn't even give credits. They haven't for years. They also never gave us our referral money when we referred customers to Ken Benezra. He stopped answering our text messages. I recently (today) called about getting a quote for some replacement windows in my home that we recently purchased. I was told by the nice woman on the phone that both homeowners had to be present for the estimate that I was looking to obtain for four windows. I told her that I thought it was stupid that we both needed to be present for an estimate for replacement windows. She was very sweet, and told me that it was the company policy that both homeowners needed to be present for an estimate. I think that is the most ridiculous policy I have ever heard of. If I make a decision, or my wife makes a decision without the other present, that we both will back each others decision. I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I don't have to abide by some silly rule, just to get an estimate. It's probably best that I move on to another supplier, because who knows what other rules they have to give me a quote for windows. (Hopefully they won't ask for my first born child as well!) read more
