First guy diagnosed and gave an estimate for $1500 to fix (included $89 diagnostic fee). We figured that seemed crazy being the fridge was only 2 years old.. second guy comes in says it's fixable just need to order parts. Said should only be about $500, great ! Comes back says he can't fix it, doesn't wanna be liable. Vince from Vintech responded on yelp immediately. I didn't even say where my rental was and he asked if it was in Hoopili. He said he is always out there fixing appliances so he thinks he knows the issue. I gave him the other estimate which he also agreed was crazy! Scheduled a time and date for him to do a diagnostic. His responses on yelp were always quick, prompt and efficient. You knew you were talking to a REAL person. Other companies responded with some generic auto response. Vince worked with us around his normal schedule 100%, he was able to accommodate us and worked with our busy schedules. Day of diagnostic he exhausted every option, making sure to explain what he sees what can be done and what our options going forward was. I 100% recommend Vince from Vintech if you want an honest, thorough tech to come fix your appliances. He truly tries everything to get it fixed and if he can't he tells you your options. Although it made more sense for us to buy a brand new appliance I appreciate his recommendations and effort in helping us. The refrigerator was supposed to be delivered upstairs into my home, and the stairs were clearly disclosed in the delivery instructions ahead of time. One of the delivery workers stated that the refrigerator could potentially be brought upstairs, but the driver refused to even attempt the delivery. The refrigerator was never removed from the dolly, lifted, repositioned, or properly assessed for delivery. The driver repeatedly stated he was not going to move it at all and left the refrigerator sitting in my garage. During the delivery, I contacted Island Movers customer service and spoke with an employee named Cece. I found her behavior extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, as she laughed during the phone call while I was trying to resolve the situation. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and concern shown throughout the entire ordeal. In an effort to help complete the delivery and eliminate liability concerns, I even offered to sign a waiver accepting responsibility for any possible damage to the refrigerator, floors, or property. Despite this, the driver still refused to make any attempt whatsoever to complete the delivery. I had to take time off work for this appointment, only for the delivery crew to essentially refuse service after arriving. The refrigerator is still sitting unusable in my garage due to their refusal to complete the delivery. I am extremely disappointed that Costco contracts with a company that operates in this manner.

Turned out there were only 2 of those parts on the entire island. He told us he will go and pick up the part before coming. He showed up in the afternoon, took a look at the problem assembly (water feed to the dispenser and ice maker) and went to work. Within 20 minutes, the source of our problem was fixed.
