Renewal has taken excellent care of our cars after unfortunate events and other times when I just needed some help or advice. Jessie, Ted (retired), and Charlie are the three gentlemen I have mostly worked with and they are intelligent, skilled, modest, and kind. They are also honest and demonstrate great integrity when it comes to the actual work. The list of what they have done for us, includes, the damaged rear bumper of a 2011 Prius, another hit rear end of a 2014 Volt, and very recently, the damaged front bumper of our 2018 Model 3. Renewal's workmanship, professionalism, and customer service are incredibly amazing, fair, and friendly. They don't pretend to be friendly and nice - they all are actually very nice people. Apart from these work, Jessie and the team have helped me numerous times when I needed assistance on my 2000 Insight. Often I needed to force them to charge me for their service! These sort of humans are becoming rare to find and almost extinct. I am attaching a picture of the bumper of the Tesla afterwards with impeccable paint job. [I will briefly mention my opposite experience with another 'Tesla-approved body shop' when I reached out for their help on fixing a sensor issue after the same parking lot accident recently. Tesla Service center recommended this shop for insurance-covered service. This place was upset that I had taken the car elsewhere for the body work. The front desk lady told me that they pay the insurance company to ensure customers are directed toward them! Well, after I was told that they would have to replace airbags, all sensors, and seat belts which won't be approved by the insurance company, I chose to have Tesla take care of it for $186. It's just one electronic module that senses a seated person on the seat. Great communication... worked with our insurance directly (even though Mercury said they were not a "preferred" shop). I learned that when they get busy, they put a pause on claims from the agencies to catch up on their work load (customers first). I'm so glad I went and had everything communicated to me. They worked with the insurance Co directly and honestly told me it would be 2 weeks. 13 days later a call and they had all the parts and were ready to go. Not only did they do a fantastic job.. but everyone was so nice and I always got updates and/or responses. They were always a little bit earlier than expected to do what was needed and asked for. I live at Bass Lake, CA & was in a Hit & Run. A Deer hit my car as I was driving and it ran away (lol) There was damage to both the driver & passenger doors. I called my insurance company (AAA) and they were so helpful. Got my car towed to Clovis to Renewal Body Works where they fixed my car and it looks like a new car again. Everyone I talked to from the 911 op to Enterprise car rentals to everyone in-between were so nice & helpful. My car wasn't new but it looks like how it was the day I took it home. Everyone at Renewal was amazingly nice & I can't say enough things about them. If you need body work they are the place to go! I got a paint scratch at the rear corner of my car. The elderly person who hit my car wanted to settle this outside of insurance. He was obviously distraught and anxious so I agree. I got an estimate from a body shop which I thought was way overpriced for a minor scratch. I went to Renewal Body Works for a second estimate. When Charlie looked at the damage, he knew right away it was a simple fix. He had his technician do some work on the damage. I say 99% of the scratch was removed in less than 5 minutes. I don't even know where to start. I got in an accident and it was a very traumatic experience. With it happening so suddenly obviously I was in a scramble to find somewhere to get my car into and get fixed. I was sent to Renewal Body Works after my car was hit by another person and they fixed my car perfectly! I wasn't the one to pick my car up, but my dad says there was a little scratch left on the car and they buffed it out right there in front of him. To finish their service off, they clean the inside of the car, vacuuming and wiping down. However, when they were wiping down the driver's mirror on the sun visor, they completely broke it (pictured below). I went today so they can look at it and Edmund told me that it wasn't their fault and that at some point, my visor wouldn't stay up anymore. Now it won't stay up and falls multiple times while I'm driving. I'm very disappointed they couldn't take the blame for what they had done and now I will be giving my money to someone else to fix this for me. read more

This place is the best. I have used them more than once. They are always friendly and accommodating. They sent a tow truck across town to pick my damaged car up, I did not have to lift a finger, other than to give the tow truck driver the keys. They did an excellent job repairing my car, after it had been rear ended by a hit and run driver. They were so nice and worked with me on getting my rental back to where I needed to return it. They kept me up to date on the repair of my car and let me know, when it would be ready, with enough time to make arrangements to pick it up. I got into an accident and was recommended renewal by the auto insurance of the other party. It's always a nerve racking time after an accident and then dealing with repairs. I've got to say the employees at renewal really impressed me with their overall professionalism, speed of service, and their quality of work. This is the second repair I have had by Renewal Body Works, they were approved by my insurance company. Here's where I have experienced a problem, I have had to take my car back for things that were not done on the first repairer assesment that was written by the owner who gave me an estimate before the repair. I am sorry, I don't have the time or money to rent a car so I can go to work. These mistakes should have been checked by the owner of the business, or someone who is qualified, and then should have been corrected before my car was returned to me. This place is great. I just had two vehicles done there and they were in and out in a week. They did a great job matching paint and my insurance company barely adjusted their prices at all. Lori seems to be your average fake review as I've watched them either take the piece that needs painting off the car completely or tape the entire car off to paint one little piece. Their adjuster/appraiser found the repair estimate would be less than our $1,000 deductible.
