She instantly made me feel welcomed into the space, which I really appreciated. The room was super warm but did not feel overly hot and was comfortable for the hot yoga session I signed up for. We went through a moderate vinyasa that was the perfect way for me to jump back into a yoga class after it had been awhile. The instructor was great about meeting the class where it was at and providing a robust but not overly intense session. I enjoyed it and feel that the price point of $10 for a class is super affordable, especially for that area. Would love to return!

If i had to classify this experience, it's for independent yoga students that have prior experience and prefer a class that's more of a "headphones in and silent study" type of vibe. This particular studio I would say focuses on the aesthetics above all. So the rooms are nice, the bathrooms are clean, the welcome space is inviting, and the instructors are what you would expect. Good yoga studio, just not my cup of tea. I prefer a different yoga experience.

When learning who the new owner was I followed them on social media in hopes to connect. I was disappointed to quickly see their views/ethics/ and approach in opposition to YOHI's previous leadership. Posts that are abelist in opposition to being trauma informed. Post that spread right wing conspiracies about the Covid vaccine. Posts that condemn the black lives matter movement. I remember marching in the streets with the former owners asking for accountability of our police force for minority brothers and sisters in this city. It makes me very sad to say I can no longer give financially to this studio when it's owners ethic and my own are this far out alignment. I know many of the teachers are the same from before. This is no reflection on them and I wish them the best. I simply cannot support the space any longer

I was 15 minutes late as I had written 930 on my calendar but it started at 9. My bad. I was welcomed in and given a quick catch up. I practice yoga at another studio so I was sort of prepared. I was by far the oldest student and that's ok. I'm giving a five star rating based on the whole student vibe. The young ladies were happy and had a lot of fun. That's important and to be respected. The class is geared for all levels and enabled all to achieve really pretty poses utilizing the hammock swing trapeze strap set up. We all got pictures to admire of ourselves looking graceful and strong. If I had any suggestions, it would be to turn off the music as the cuing was hard ( for me) to hear. Also, I wished the hammock could've been a little lower as it was a bit high for me to get one leg up into it and stand. My balance is pretty good so I hopped a little to maintain, if I had been totally inexperienced, maybe not so much. Thank you so much for the opportunity to practice, Julie.

I loved that the classes were smaller and more intimate so that you could actually receive direction if needed and that you were not feeling cramped. I just think that there is a lot going on at this studio and the website can be confusing at times. Overall, a great studio and owner and highly recommend for pilates and yoga!

When you enter it feels like a bright airy cocoon filled with natural lighting. The instructors are informative, skilled and offer modifications whether you need to simplify things or would like to challenge yourself a bit more. Once it's time for shavasanah they easily close the automatic blinds allowing for full relaxation free from distractions. The thing that I like most is the wide variety of class offerings. However, this location is right next door to Fox in the Snow (umm yes)..so if anything you can pop on over for a coffee before/after. Also located near by is Native & Thurmans. This location offers one studio that I would say is moderate sized. It does seam smaller than the Clintonville main hot studio, however the shape is different and everything. The overall appeal is very modern inside. They provide lockers and 2 bathrooms. The yoga studio is nice and quiet once in the space & makes for the perfect yoga studio. Also, the classes are great.
