Some of the brand names I saw included Louis Vuitton, Coach, Kate Spade, Prada, Chanel, and a large selection of Lily Pulitzer. The owner Bonnie was very friendly and she explained to me how the pricing works. Clothing is priced based on how long it is in the shop. A Patricia Nash purse I liked was priced at $129 but if it is still here in December it will sell for $90. If you can't make it to the store in person the Designer Consignor Consignment has an Instagram account you can follow that features some of their best items including that turquoise leather purse. Another adorable bag that caught my eye was beaded to look like a watermelon making it the perfect summer picnic outfit accessory. There is a dressing room area in the back of the store so you can try on clothes. They also sell shoes and other accessories. You can bring in your gentle used and mint designer items to sell for a split of the profits.

We don't have Goodwill stores like this in New England. I walked away with some brand new earring for only a few dollars. I was looking for large white hoops. Score! Approximately 25,000 people in Southwest Florida are served by Goodwill Southwest Florida thrift stores every year. I discovered this Goodwill in Egret Crossing on a recent thrifting trip to Naples. The store opened in May of 2021 and it still looks brand new. This Goodwill resembles a Home Goods more than a thrift store. There is so much to explore here starting with the Better Brands section of clothing, a boutique area where you can find name brand clothes. The store is filled with not only donated items but brand new items too. They have a ton of clothing for men, women, and children, accessories, furniture, home goods, toys, small appliances, books, and more, all at discounted prices. Everything is organized by type, color, and size so shopping is a breeze. This is easily the nicest Goodwill I have ever been in.

This is an affluent area of older, retired people who maybe get tired of their things or want a change or have passed away and their items are donated. The operative word is DONATED so the money can be used for the non-profit mission Salvation Army does....BUT what I saw was over priced if not full priced items for sale! Shame on management there...your goal should to be to sell everything that is donated at less then "reasonable" priced 2nd hand, thrift store prices! If it is not sold in 4-6 months you priced it TOO high! You are not a retail store, price it accordingly!! Do the good work people think you are doing thus we donate to you instead of Goodwill!

Name brands from all of the best department and upscale stores: Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Lilly Pulitzer, St. John. There is smaller store in the shopping mall to the east that has a more traditional thrift layout and more run of the mill merchandise. Prices: commensurate with the high dollar value of the items for sale. No real "bargains" here, but you will pay about 50% to 80% less for these items. Case in point, a St. John beaded knit dress for $90 that likely originally retailed for $500 or more. The rich old people of Naples have to kick the bucket some time, and it looks like a lot of their stuff ends up here. This would be a frequent haunt of mine if I lived in the area just for browsing alone! Note: if you look hard enough, you can find some exquisite vintage clothing and a few nice pieces of Danish MCM furniture. And an Enchanted Tiki Room-themed display.

Eli told me that they don't sell knick knacks just use them for props. The stock is high quality, varied styles and I think all is consignment. They price aggressively but I got the impression that would be negotiable after a piece has sat on the floor for awhile. They had a good selection of rugs and outdoor furniture.

After asking the sales associate if the store negotiated she said yes. We made an offer of $250 and she said "no way, the boss won't go that low". When she countered us at $380 we simply decided it was too much and decided to look elsewhere. As we were leaving the same lady said, "if I get the boss to do $300 would you agree?". We asked if they would split it and go $275 and then this is when things TURNED UGLY. The sales lady called "THE BOSS" and ended up putting him on the phone directly with me. He seemed pleasant at first, then asked if we were good customers or fly by customers. Told him we recently bought a new home and would potentially be great customers. He continued with questions like, how much did you pay for your new home and how could you offer something like 70% lower than our price? THEN, he said and I quote "DO ME A FAVOR AND GET THE F_ _ K OUT OF MY STORE." I was shocked and embarrassed for the nice sales associate that was trying to help us. I handed her the phone back and he was still YELLING VULGARITIES. We were really wanting to do business here because they say they donate some proceeds to the animal shelter and we are animal and dog lovers. Our advice ... STAY AWAY and go to Something Olde Something New or Bargain Basket. Both of these places have similar furniture and items and the customer service is superior to A 2nd Chance. Still am shocked by this entire event and will make sure as many people in the Naples area know how this owner operates.

They have also partnered with 30 local Collier County charities including Neighborhood Health Clinic, Healthcare Network of SW Florida, Meals of Hope, Baby Basics, Echo, Dental Outreach, Grace Place, Literacy Volunteers, and Habitat for Humanity. I was pleasantly surprised to see the store was much larger than I thought it would be from the outside. Hours are rather limited, they are only open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10-3 so it makes it difficult to shop here if you have to work more traditional 9 to 5 weekday work hours. In any case I am glad that I finally got to stop in and support the great work that they do for this community.

It is in mint condition with glass table, 6 chairs and a gorgeous curio, as well as a beautiful octagon rug only 5 months old. It broke my heart to give this set up, but I had no room in my new house for this set. We secured a date and confirmed and reconfirmed more than once. They were to pick the set up today 11/12/24. My window of arrival time was 1 to 3 PM. They were informed more than once that we were MOVING to Central Florida tomorrow 11/13/24 and that this pick up was essential. Well low and behold at 2:30 PM , just 1/2 hour before the end of their "window" we received a call that they would NOT be able to pick up our dining room set until next TUESDAY! I reminded them that were moving the next day and they just kept repeating that they could not pick it up today and had to reschedule next week. NOW I have to leave the set in my home and will have to pay a FINE to the new owners because of it. All because I decided to do the charitable thing and donate it instead of selling it online, which I could have EASILY done. What made it worse was their attitude, no sympathy, no apology. Awful. PLEASE reconsider where you donate your things. I can't speak for all the Habitat locations but certainly can speak for the HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF COLLIER COUNTY. SHAME ON Y OU!!!!!
