Not many people would risk slowing down the line and pay that much attention to the customers purchase. So I appreciate his careful, thoughtful, and alert nature. I ate the sandwich and lived to write about it. I didn't get sick at all. It was fine. The staff here are friendly, helpful, and professional despite what some of these other people say. I never had any issues. UPDATE: I'm including the cashier Mani in on this review. He also looked over my sandwich to make sure it wasn't spoiled. The Holiday Harvest Hoagie has dark stuffing herbs in the bread that makes it look spoiled. So I go off the expiration date. But I'm glad the staff is looking out for their customer's well being.

Very nice employees too. They did change in regards to water or ice. They charge you just for ice or water when before it was free. Not a big deal it's .25 cents. Much easier to scoot on by the Golden Acorn up on the hill knowing that this station and convenience store exists. Easy to operate pumps. We have never been there when all the pumps were taken. Fantastic store inside chock full of snacks and drinks. Very clean restrooms. This is a perfect place to hit the restroom and fill your tank after making it through the mountains on your way to San Diego or the perfect place to fill up your tank and hit the restroom before heading into the mountains on your way to Arizona. We have always gotten friendly and fast service from the employees. I suggest you give them a shot. It may change the way you approach San Diego, or the way you leave it.
