I looked for local coffee shops and noticed that Craft has matcha, so off I went downtown! The atmosphere is really nice, though I felt like I was making a lot of squeaky noises as I walked inside. There were also tables outside and it was cool enough in the morning to sit, but there were several groups there so I stayed inside. I ordered a 16 oz iced matcha latte with almond milk and chatted with the cashier about it being my first day in McPherson. She was very friendly. I sat down at a table and watched the Tour de France on my phone while enjoying my matcha, watching many people come and go, happily enjoying their beverages. This is a very nice find in town!

The coffee was exactly the high-octane wake-up call I needed, and the biscuits and gravy were spectacular. The service here is top-tier--extremely friendly, fast, polite, and professional. If you are passing through town, make a detour and check it out. And if you currently live here and haven't been yet? You have no excuse. I had to leave the state for three decades; you just have to get off the couch. Go check them out
