We recently attended the distillery's open house tasting event…read more What a great day filled with tastings, music, food and fun. First of all, the distillery is huge. There are many seating areas indoors and out. A nice bar area as well as lounge type seating areas indoors and a small gift shop. Outside there were various vendor booths and food trucks. Lots of various options. The main event was in the back of the distillery. Unfortunately the weather turned so they moved the musicians and seating indoors so that did make it a bit crowded inside. For the tasting, we purchased a 3 taste card for $10. We were provided with a small tasting glass to take home as well. There were several tasting options from vodka to gin to bourbon and sweet options. After tasting a few options, we purchased the Lakeside premix old fashioned. Delicious! I'm not an old fashioned consumer but I liked it. We also purchased an Apple Pie Liquor which I believe they are launching was tasty. For food, we only ordered a pretzel which was served warm with mustards. It was good. The music was fun to listen and watch everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. We did order drinks from the bar in the forward section of the distillery. It is an indoor/outdoor bar. In addition to cocktails and beer, they serve pizza and pretzels. Limited food but we will have to stop in again and try the pizza. A great place to check out.

The pork chop was tender, juicy and flavorful while the potatoes were extra crispy. The lamb on a bed of peas with bits of crunchy chick peas on top of tzatziki was also amazing (I don't think it can outshine the pork chop) the lamb was a hearty serving of tender deliciousness as well. Ended things with the brown butter cake drizzled in salted caramel topped with mousse and pumpkin seeds - also fabulous. Very kind, as I can read and I knew the request. The bar was pretty full but not squished in like sardines full, nor loud. They have a parking lot, not a lot of spaces, so you just park along the edge/grass of the lot and all is peachy. I enjoyed that a couple few of the regulars ended up moving to the table next to me and danced for a lot of the gig! They were kind and lively ladies! The music was great, the environment comfortable and welcoming, the people friendly and attentive and friendly service; I definitely don't see this being my last visit. When I told Jordan I'd be leaving and would like to tab out. I was met w a very friendly "I appreciate you coming in!"
