DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN!!…read moreThe long and short of it...see below for a more detailed account of my experience with this "cleaning" service.
When I first spoke with Maggie on the phone I told her that wewould be moving back into hour home and just removed tile from the entire 1st floor. Naturally, I informed her dust was everywhere from the removal of the tile and I needed everything cleaned and sanitized from top to bottom.
*Clean and sanitize all kitchen cabinets & pantry, clean cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and 3 refrigerators
*Clean and sanitize all bathrooms: vanities, tubs, showers, toilets
*Wipe down all doors & handles, light switches, baseboards, ceiling fans, windows, window seals, window coverings, front & back doors (inside and out), all light fixtures
clean all floors and wipe down the walls
*Wipe down shelves in bedroom closets
What she actually cleaned:
pantry, oven, microwave, and 1 refrigerator, tub, ceiling fans, windows, the floor
We also spoke about her cleaning the apartment (2 days later) that we were moving out of. Well, when Maggie showed up at my home she came with one person - one person to clean all ofthe above (Maggie wasn't staying). She claimed she thought she was cleaning the apartment that day. If she looked back at our correspondence via text message she would have seen that she was cleaning the house that day (we conversed via text message after our initial phone conversation). There was no furniture in the house so all she was cleaning was the mentioned above. Maggie also changed the price once she came inside. I didn't fuss about it, I just agreed to pay the extra $50. I went back to the apartment because I was working that day. Fast forward 4 hours later, I return to the house where I find Maggie's worker chilling on the back patio - finished...FINISHED!
Maggie returns, collected her payment, collected her worker and left - she did not even look to see if everything had been done. Again, I was working, so I did not look over everything either. Well, after 5, I started to look over my house and found that the job had not been completed.
Oh, I almost forgot, when Maggie walked in to collect her payment she showed me a picture of the top of the cabinets that had been "cleaned" - they did even touch the top of my cabinets.
When I called Maggie to inform her that lots of things had not been cleaned she wanted to argue with me, but all I wanted was her send someone back or give me half of my money back. She still wanted to argue and tell me that she is not a bad person.
Well, she sent the same person back, and again she did a terrible job. She spent 1 hour in the bathroom that was supposedly already cleaned and the light fixtures were still dusty and I had to tell her to clean under the vanity with a mop and not a towel. I had to tell her multiple times to clean the doors and handles - multiple times to clean the shelves in the bedroom closets. She still did not clean the dusty off the kitchen cabinets, nor the mirror in the half bath.
She said Maggie never told her what she was here to clean.
Don't waste your time, nor your money with Maggie and her cleaning crew.
