When I went through to look over her work and prior to leaving, there were several things which were not cleaned well or, at all. My bronze brushed fixtures in both bathrooms were not cleaned, my granite-top counters still had grit on them (which admittedly you cannot see but, if you ran your hands over the tops it was obvious), and my table had clear stains. I mentioned them to the lady and she cleaned everything with no complaints. I texted the POC and asked to speak with her as, I need someone who is detail-oriented and this person did not seem a good fit. After back-and-forth via text, I finally received a call to convey all that occurred and to request another professional. I was assured the new person, "I would like her cleaning" and a new visit was scheduled. On cleaning day and to my surprise, two people arrived with the primary person late. There was no explanation as to why there were two people (I found out afterwards that one person was training a new employee although the trainee worked mostly alone and in the areas where I had the most issues), and they came in and after a walkthrough, began cleaning. As they were getting to the end, I walked through and took pictures noting things which needed further cleaning or initial cleaning. Before I could share with the cleaners what the challenges were, they were gone. They did not say good bye, did not leave the checklist I was promised, and there were several things which were not cleaned AT ALL: Kitchen & dining room floor, refrigerator and stove top (both stainless steel with smudges/fingerprints/food), mirror in my daughter's room clearly was not cleaned, my guest bathroom mirror and sink were not cleaned...I was not happy. One of the things which gave me pause prior to scheduling the first cleaning is the insistence on payment prior to services rendered. I have used professional cleaners before and usually payment is rendered at the completion of the cleaning or your card is charged once confirmation of the customers satisfaction. My experience with service companies is, awaiting payment is sufficient incentive to ensure the satisfaction of the customer. I sent in photos (this is a requirement before they will even speak to you about re-cleaning) via text that evening and received an email the following day...an email reply not a phone call, which I was unable to review until the weekend. The email stated they could schedule a re-cleaning on the upcoming Monday morning at 9AM but by the time I replied on Sunday, I was told Wednesday afternoon is all they have open as the other openings were filled. My life is way too busy as a single parent with a highly demanding job to continue with a service provider which clearly has challenges so, I cancelled any re-cleaning along with any future cleaning with Organically Maid. I did receive an email stating I probably needed a dedicated housekeeper (along with some story about having a short office staff which was in reference to my concern about communications) as my needs are very specific. I need the things I am paying for done, and done properly. No one pays for services which are partially completed or left undone and it would have softened the blow if they had offered some portion of my payment returned as, nothing about the service I received on 2/6 was professional! I never spoke to or heard from the owner and wondered how aware of these things they were. If they were not, they should be now and hopefully it will mean better service for customers in the future.

In addition to all the regular housecleaning stuff (bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, etc.), they did heavy duty things like wiping out all the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, cleaning the blinds, wiping out the fridge and microwave, and cleaning the inside of the oven (I sprayed it the night before).
