We had an electrical house fire that burned the entire attic. The water damage by the fire department was excessive. The house required full blown demolition and clean up - being stripped down to the studs and down to the sub floor. Complete removal of the remaining roof structure. Leaving an open top box of our house and see through walls. On a Sunday morning I mustered up the courage to call around for estimates. I left a message for three companies. Sam called me right away within the hour. The other company on Monday mid morning. The third company never called back. Sam had the heart to express his condolences for our loss and assured me that we would be taken care of. The other company was indifferent and calculating from the onset. This is what sets Rainbow apart from any other company. Rainbow was willing to work with us knowing we had no insurance to cover the cost. They beat the competitors estimate. I assure you they will out perform any company in the Central Valley. They go above and beyond in providing helping hands, consolation and strategizing when you just don't really know what to do and where to begin. They are professionals with heart, mind and soul. You won't meet better people in this world, in business or personally. Saiid and the crew of strong, courteous and respectful young men worked diligently and tirelessly. They came prepared with a positive attitude and willingness to help with all the miscellaneous extra help we needed. They helped move furniture and boxes and stuff that we just didn't have the strength or energy to do ourselves. Saiid and Sam are the salt of the earth. They are absolutely wonderful human beings. I am so grateful that God directed me to them. They have been a blessing to our family. They are forever in my heart and I am forever grateful for them seeing us through this entire experience. The interior of our house (or what remains of it) and the parameter outside was left completely clean. They sanded down the wood structure remaining and treated for mold. We are ready to rebuild. The pictures included are the progress of the work done to show the scope and magnitude of the disaster they handled with grace. Thank you Saiid, Sam and the entire team at Rainbow, you are loved and blessed always.

I highly recommend this place for your house repair. We had a fire and All American Construction…read moredid all the repairs for us. Rosa helped us with all the paperwork and she helps us navigate through the insurance process. She helped took care of the headaches for us. She very down to earth and extremely helpful. She went beyond her duty to help us. Martin who runs the place was very friendly as well. All of the staff communicated without and we were never loss or confused during our repair journey. Martin gave us many options and recommendations that made the repair fast and easy. Our fire occurred 11/22, we reached out to All American Construction 01/23, and our house was move in ready by 10/23. The house was perfect. We didn't have to pay out of pocket because Rosa helps us and the insurance paid for all the repairs. You will not regret using All American Construction, they will do the best. In terms of value, I say it's worth it.

Being such a specialized project we needed just the right person. We contacted a friend who worked at the carpenters union and she suggested Martine Borges at All American Construction. It was exactly the right choice! Martine was able to step in and evaluate what had been done, what needed to be corrected and make a plan for moving forward. Martine communicated frequently and clearly with us. He listened carefully to our thoughts and offered creative suggestions. When problems in the build arose, he sat down with us and together we found solutions. Martine and his team provided quality work and took great pride in the house they were building. In the years since we have had many opportunities to have All American Construction complete improvement and upkeep projects on our log cabin. All projects were completed with the same care and attention to detail as the original build. Most recently we have undertaken a major bathroom, paint and flooring remodel. Martine and All American Construction have gone out of their way to listen to our ideas and offer creative and beautiful suggestions. This company is so trustworthy that we took a three week vacation while Martine was remodeling our bathroom. When our remodel is complete I will update this review and include pictures.

A representative from this company appeared at the property immediately after the fire department…read moreleft, not more than a minute after the trucks were out of sight. When she arrived she carried a clipboard with official-looking documents, came directly up to us, and entered our home to begin building what appeared to be a report. She presented herself in a way that implied she was part of the official process when dealing with a house fire. From the beginning she used alarming, fear-based language and trigger words to try to scare us into acting quickly. Each time I said "no thank you," she escalated and pushed harder. She referenced burglary and other worst-case scenarios while we were still processing the fire, which felt like a threat and an attempt to make us believe we were required to work with her. She also repeatedly claimed that having a contractor was "best practice" and warned that if we did not use one, the insurance company would significantly underpay our claim and that the process would be much harder and longer. She further insinuated that construction companies would charge us large amounts just to provide quotes if we tried to handle it on our own. When another contractor from a different company arrived, I brought both of them outside so everyone could be on the same page. At that point I had taken a step away to look into the company using ChatGPT, which indicated that they were there to secure the job and advised proceeding with caution and not signing anything. She then attempted to tell the other contractor to leave so she could speak with me alone. I said no, I would speak with them both. The other contractor gave calm, reasonable guidance about not cleaning the property and cautioned us about possible asbestos exposure. He then respectfully left the first time we said we would handle things on our own. After he walked away, she rolled her eyes and said, "He wasn't supposed to say that." Despite being told "no thank you" four separate times, she refused to leave. I ultimately had to say directly, "Get out of my house." Her behavior made it feel as though she was taking advantage of a family in a moment of shock and vulnerability. They are deceptive and not transparent. The way she presented herself blurred the line between private contractor and official authority, which was deeply unsettling. Proceed with extreme caution. These people only want the job contract. They do not have your best interest at heart. Do not sign anything. Contact your insurance first. What we experienced fits the pattern of predatory disaster chasers, and in many cases this type of conduct is illegal under state law. My heart aches for families who are in despair after a house fire and do not have the bandwidth, language access, or advocacy skills to question what is happening in those moments.

We had a house fire and then found out we had asbestos that needed to be removed. We were told that after everything was cleaned up that they would contact us, so someone could be there when doing the inventory, and that way if there was any money or jewelry found they could hand it over. I did ask for some things to be removed when they were found just in case. We were also told that any items we wanted could be removed, but if it was something that was electrical or maybe something we really should not take, we would just sign a release so the company would not be responsible. Any hard items that we wanted to save would be cleaned and placed into a "clean room", until our house was completed. The few items they did remove were just dumped in the back yard. Not covered or anything. So we waited and waited for a call, then one day I receive an email with the inventory list. We were never called and nothing was saved, NOTHING! They threw away jewelry, limited edition mugs and glasses, knives, swords, plates, crystal, everything no matter what it was. I even had $250 in the bedroom that no one knows anything about. On the inventory list they even had things listed wrong, like my Calif King bed as a queen size bed and the box springs were listed as 2 twin size mattress. I had a number of things that I wanted to save that belonged to my mother who died in 1986. Now I have nothing. Everything I had been told by this company was all lies. They are even lying to the insurance company about everything, trying to say that stuff was compromised or broken. But in the pictures and were taken you can totally see that stuff was not broken or compromised. It's bad enough that you lose so much after a fire, but to put faith into a company and have then lie and steal from you makes it so much worse. I hope the insurance company, Liberty Mutual, never uses them again.
