If you want to get overcharged and get invoices that are not accurate, then go here. It's insane. I ended up going to a nearby dentist and come to find out, my insurance covered majority of the costs that they said it didn't cover. read more

We have been going to Renaissance Dental for years now and referred my parents in law to both Dr Pelts and Dr Z. The staff is super welcoming, helpful and also very kids friendly for my 3 and 7 yrs old. They give you the advise you need with options for you to decide. They make our dentist experience fun and easy to come back to while keeping our beautiful smiles :) All staff is very very nice! read more

This place is straight bs!!!!. They just want you to come so they can take x-ray and charge insurance so they can send you somewhere else. I don't even write reviews but this place is a SCAM!!!! I truly don't know how this dentist sleeps at night. read more

All I want from a dental office is to tell me what I definitely need fixed. I don't want to hear about "other" issues - fixes that are not necessary for me but rather would be done to give the dental office extra business. Renaissance Dental checks that box for me. Dr. Peltz only did work that was necessary, and it was painless. She pointed out possible future problems but admitted they're not an issue yet- just something that I should keep in mind. Their Dental Hygienist Anna was very friendly and also made my cleaning experience very comfortable and professional. I highly recommend this office. Thanks Renaissance Dental, Greg K. read more

Looking for a warm, welcoming office with amazing faculty, with dr and hygienist (Ana) who have the best bedside manner, look no more. Go to this office. Ana is the best hygienist I ever met. I always felt nervous getting cleaned since my gums are sensitive and the machine used always scared me. This place I look forward to bc with Ana it always feels like a Spa day, she makes you feel so comfortable and accommodated. She is gentle and does her cleanings well. I can feel the difference. The office is super clean and front desk Victoria is always professional and polite, helpful with insurance info as well. They take most PPOs and they never double book. If you miss appts they will charge a small fee if you don't notify 24 hrs in advance. I think that is fair since they do txt remind you few days and same day for the appt. Definitely in forest hills this is one of the best offices! I will be sure to recommend my friends and family here. read more

I love this place. If you know me, then you know how much I am scared of the dentist (I'm sure some of you share the same fear). Dr. Pelts and her staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Dr. Pelts is really caring when it comes to dental work so rest assure that she will calm you down before she does anything. She meticulously tells you what she is doing and what you can expect. All the procedures I've done here are painless and Dr. Pelts meticulously make sure that she is not hurting you. I've been with this dentist for almost 3 years now since I moved back to Queens and I would recommend anyone to go there. There is a flat screen TV on top of your dental chair so if you feel like you need to take your mind of what the dentist is doing then it is perfect (they have cable!). read more

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr. Pelts and her wonderful staff. I accidentally fell upon them online and decided to make an appointment because I was on a tight schedule. They were so nice about working with my schedule! They even have a small shared parking lot. I have had a spotty record as far as going to the dentist- I didn't have insurance until a few years ago, so I was never taught the proper way to care for my teeth. I thought I had been thorough and doing it properly all these years, but Dr. Pelts really opened up my eyes. First off all, her receptionist/clerk is a sweetheart. She remembered my name after my first visit and has been so warm and welcoming- what seems like a small gesture goes a long way in helping you to relax when you are going to the dentist and you really just want to hop in your car and drive til you get to Jersey. I take that back, everyone I have encountered at the office, including Dr. Pelts, is a huge sweetheart. The hygienist went step by step to outline what I needed to do/change to up my teeth cleaning game. The technician HELD MY HAND while I was getting my first fillings ever (yes, ever) and told me when to close my eyes as to not see the ginourmous needle. Dr. Pelts talked me through step by step on everything she was doing, whenever there was a new sound. Every time my eyes closed she would ask if I'm ok and if something hurt. Not only that, I was shaking so she wanted to make sure I was not having a bad reaction to the drug she gave me. I told her it was actually because I was cold (it was 80 degrees out and I decided to wear shorts to a medical office for a procedure) so she went and got me a knit blanket so I would be (more) comfortable. I want to mention how thorough and kind everyone was. They never made me feel dumb or uneducated (as other doctors have before) when I asked questions. They made sure I understood the problem and how I needed to proceed. They also explained to me the progress they saw with my teeth when I went back. Maybe these are all standard services and common, but I have been to 4 other dentists in the last 5 years and no one has ever been so kind and thorough. No one else seemed to actually care about the well being of my dental health. I am definitely recommending this place to everyone I know- I am no longer scared to go to the dentist (alone). read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Pelts and her staff. I had a full-blown dental phobia, and I had been away from the dentist for many years. I worked up the courage to walk into her lovely little dental salon (that's what it feels like) and immediately felt safe, though still anxious. It's now four years later, and I go twice a year for cleanings and check ups. I had a lot of work done that first year, and Dr. Pelts was and always is so gentle, kind, friendly, warm, and incredibly professional. Like the other reviewer said, Dr. Pelts takes the time to tell you what she's doing and checks routinely to be sure she isn't hurting you. She saved my life, pretty much. I was a basket case, and now, I finally go to the dentist regularly, and I can trust Dr. Pelts and her staff. A lot of dental phobia is connected to feeling a loss of control (and then all that follows in that fear). Dr. Pelts helps her patients have more control by the way she communicates, cares, and works. She also has a great movie/tv system in there, so you can kick back and choose from her amazing selection of movies (she's a movie fan). Coen Brothers, Quentin Tarantino, Woody Allen, and so many more. I cannot recommend Dr. Pelts and Renaissance Dental enough. She is a really sweet lady too. read more

I got 2 teeth removed yesterday. I'm really satisfied by the service. Dr. Pelts and her assistances conducted the procedure very professional, fast, and painless - I couldn't imagine that. Beautiful office, professional staff. First came for consultation and cleaning, then did in chair whitening- the result was amazing!

If your looking for some quality cleaning then this place will be the best place for you! They have one of the best hygienists and really did some quality work to my teeth. Although I am having trouble remembering her name. However, she did the work really well and gave me tons of advice on how to brush properly/floss properly and was overall amazing. If you live near Forrest hills then you cannot miss this place read more

I went to Dr. Pelts for a general check-up and consultation. Dr. Pelts and her staff was very professional. I had my teeth cleaned and cavities filled, which was painless. I have went to a few dentists for consultations regarding a tooth that may require an extraction and she was very informative and answered any questions I had. In addition, her reception was very helpful with scheduling and insurance related questions as well. read more

My husband and I have been patients for about 10 years. Dr. Pelts and her entire staff are unfailingly kind and welcoming. They truly care about their patients and it shows!! read more

If I could give no stars I would... I really hated this place its nasty unsanitary and just nasty all around and dr. Pelts treats her staff like shit. Great staff! Very kind and attentive (They even mail Christmas and birthday cards to my house) I've been with Dr. Pelts for almost 7 years now and have never had a bad experience. Always pleasant and thorough. With the reviewer that said this clinic was not clean- absolutely no. The clinic is VERY CLEAN and up to date with their equipment. Highly recommended! read more

Best dentist ever! I feel like I'm going to a spa whenever I get my teeth cleaned. That's saying something because prophylaxis is always painful! Love this clinic read more

I had four root canals and a few fillings with Dr. Pelts. Her office is clean and filled with state of the art technology. The staff is warm, caring and talented at their jobs. Dr Pelts herself takes her profession very seriously and is so good at her job that my last two procedures (which involved four appointments a piece) I actually traveled from upstate New York to go to her office. I never have had a better dental experience and would highly recommend her for any care! read more

Loved this dentist office. Very clean and you are mostly seen at your appointment time. Nice and friendly service from the front desk with Victoria to the dental hygienists. Also Dr.Pelts is great and always there to listen to all of your dental concerns and friendly to chat with. Have been coming here for more than 5 years already. read more

Dr. Pelts is an excellent dentist. Very straightforward, and concerned with making sure you're comfortable. There is a TV in the examination room, and that does make the experience more pleasant. The other staff have always been nice and easy to interact with. I have been going here for a few years at this point and have been very satisfied with my care. read more

Hi. I will turn 70 in a couple month. That means I had a lot of dental work done in my life. I am very fortunate to come across Dr. Pelts from Renaissance Dental. My case was the worst. I have seen other dentists prior to meeting Dr. Pelts. They had no idea where to start. Dr. M. Pelts looked at my teeth and got very interested. My bad teeth was a challenge for her. To make the story short three month later a have a full mouth of beautiful and functional teeth. I look like a billionaire and 20 years younger. Thank you Dr. M. Pelts. You are my Leonardo Da Vinci. I am a lucky patient. read more

I have been going to Dr. Pelts for almost 5 years now and I couldn't be happier with her care. Scheduling is easy and convenient and I have never waited for more than 10 minutes to be seen. I have had cleanings, xrays, fillings, crown done by her and the results are excellent. Strongly recommended! read more

Dr Pelts is an amazing dentist. Staff is exceptional and accommodating as well! Highly recommended.

I have been going to Dr. Pelts for a long time. She was first referred to me by a coworker when I first moved to Forest hills, Queens over 10 years ago. I have since moved to Long Island City and now reside at Fort Lee, NJ. No matter where I move, I still stick w/ Dr. Pelts and her team. The reason is simple - she is indeed the best in the business and I don't said this lightly. In the past, I dread going to dentists (and to this date, I won't say going to dentist is my favorite thing to do) BUT since I found Renaissance dental, I have found the right home. Dr Pelt's expertise, caring altitude, professionalism and ever hard working altitude represent her entire business model. I admire that after so many years, she continues to expand her knowledge, add new machines and services to provide best service to her clients. Victoria and Natalia are all excellent staff that always make me feel like I am well taken care of. I highly recommend Dr. Pelt and her practice to any new clients or people looking for a new dentist in the area as I am confident he/ she will be well taken care of. Erica read more

Very clean office with a friendly staff. Dr Pelts has been my dentist for 5 years now and I'm not looking anywhere else

I would highly recommend Dr. Pelts, she is very professional, thorough in her explanations, and doesn't push for work to be done all at once like I've experienced with some other dentists. I've noticed she doesn't always take on all the patients herself now, and there's usually another dentist who will do the general check-up and cleaning, so might be her business is growing as well. Staff is very nice too! read more

I highly recommend Dr. Pelts! She is an excellent dentist, very skilled and professional. Unfortunately, neither me nor my mother are blessed with good teeth and have set in a dentist chair one too many times. We are extremely happy that we found Dr. Pelts. For the last 5 years, Dr. Pelts has been our family doctor and we sought her services from simple fillings to difficult implantation. She is always available to answer all our questions and concerns. Her office is high tech and uses latest technologies. Staff is friendly and there is no wait time. Thank you, Dr. Pelts read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Pelts for over 5 years and have always received exceptional care. The care she provides goes well beyond regular dental checkups and recommendations. Dr. Pelts always inquires about my general health, keeps track of all my dental history at all times and makes recommendations that always address my personal concerns. She explains all procedures patiently and puts great care into her work, she is a pleasure to deal with as are her staff. During a recent dental emergency she treated my family as her own and went above and beyond what I would ever expect - I am very thankful for her excellent care and will continue to bring my family to her for many years to come. read more

After not having gone to a dentist for years, I finally decided it was time--and it was my great fortune to find Dr. Pelts and Renaissance Dental about 5 years ago. Dr. Pelts shows the utmost professionalism. She has a gentle touch and is thorough. Her staff is nice and considerate. The office is clean. The hours are easy to work with. I moved to Manhattan over 2 years ago, and Dr. Pelts is still my dentist. She's definitely worth the trip. read more
