It makes it really easy to accommodate both of us when we try to satisfy our sweet tooth's. - Smoothie with boba: I ordered a mango banana smoothie with boba after I found our the bubble tea mix had dairy in it. I was very happy with this option and it tasted great. It was made with less sugar than boba typically is (score) and had my tapioca pearls. It was delicious and I would order this again. - Moosetraps Ice-Cream: My boyfriend really enjoyed his ice-cream. I'm not a local to the area, but from what some of the locals tell me, this place is one of the go-to places for fast Asian food and desserts, especially bubble tea.. so much so that some days, the tapioca runs out for the day. The food menu also switches up regularly I hear so there's always something new to try. I tried the fresh fruit shakes here and the ice cream cones and I loved them! For sure this place doesn't compare to some of the places you'll find in the GTA, but it's pretty great for the area. I'm definitely coming back here next time I'm in the area.

We searched a place called Charidise which is located close to hwy 400 so we decided to give it a try. This place did not disappoint us. Environment: (5/5) This place is definitely a hidden gem in the Barrie area! It's a good spot for hanging out and catching up with friends or even a good place for study. They are really well used of the space (ie: many big tables with glass walls, couches, and even pool tables! ) The environment is sparkling clean with nice decor. Personally I really like the open spaces. Drink: (5/5) We ordered their special drink white peach oolong tea for $3.99 and I think their bubble tea is on the same level compared to those big bubble chains in GTA area. The overall pricing is reasonable considering the quality. Food: (4.5/5) We ordered a fried chicken with pasta ($12.99), a poutine with cheese ($5.99), and a grass jelly pudding ($6.xx). The food was tasty and the portion of the pasta was big. Service: (5/5) For ordering, you can either order at the touch-screen station or at the cashier, the self ordering is quite self-explanatory and convenient and you can customize your food. They will give you a buzzer after ordering. The staff was nice enough to bring our food to our table. Overall (5/5) I would definitely come back to give another dish a try and recommend this place to my friends in The area. The place has lots of potential and deserves more attention as we were the only customers on a Saturday night.

It's delicious!…read more After having a not-so-stellar Yelp experience at Ramin Isshin, I left the eatery with fellow Yelper friend, Jason. I felt like getting a drink. I noticed this Chicha San Chen and wanted to check it out. Jason joined me to work off some of the ramen that he had devoured. I've been to the Chicha San Chen at CF Markville. This store is at least twice as big as that location. There were plenty of places to sit down and enjoy your tea. I had a couple of fruity sparkling drinks at the CF Markville place. I was going to ask the man behind the counter if he had them. Instead, he said that he'd be back and I could look at the menu. It was delivered in a not-now-I'm-busy tone. It was odd. It's the only reason why this place doesn't get five stars. I'm so glad that Jason was with me. He said that the woman at CF Markville suggested that he get the high mountain pouchong tea with lemon juice and konjac. I decided to go with this drink. I got this drink with less sugar and less ice. I paid with my debit card on my phone. I tapped and was done. It didn't take much time for this drink to be made. It was nice chatting up a storm with Jason as we waited. The moment of truth was here. My drink was ready. I took a sip. It was awesome! The foam tasted like lemon meringue. The tea was perfect with the lemon juice. The konjac was chewy. I haven't had konjac since I visited Song Tea eons ago (rest in bubble tea peace). I wish that this drink came in a larger size. I drank it too fast... haha! I had a great experience with my friend's recommendation. I like that there's lot of parking in this plaza. I'd return again for more good bubble tea. Maybe staff will be more cheerful then. (437)
