This bubble tea place is hidden inside, not on the street side, so it was hard to find. When we went, there was only one person serving us, but she was helpful and patient with everyone. Coco is one of my go-to places for bubble tea because they offer different promotions every month. We tried the mango milk tea, which was on promotion, but surprisingly, my favourite was the honeydew smoothie. I also loved the pink blossoms. So I went to the Simcoe location in Oshawa by Durham college and I have to say I received the best customer service ever and during a very busy time. Thomas was already busy when I came in and he was working so hard and fast and efficiently. There were about maybe 4 customers ahead of myself already but two of them had big orders. Anyway he greeted us with true professionalism and enthusiasm. I didn't expect that with the busy time. He was hustling to make the orders as quick as possible but he was also very productive and efficient. Always smiling and making sure we had amazing service which we did. Today, I met up with my dear friend from Peterborough. I suggested that we meet at this CoCo, which recently opened up. She was game. It's a good midpoint from where we both live. We both missed turning into this quiet, odd plaza. The CoCo is tucked away and is difficult to see from Simcoe Street North. I saw a Popeye's Chicken sign, followed by the CoCo sign, and did the most overshot left turn to get here. All parking spots in this plaza have COM written on the ground. I saw a sign saying that it was for commercial vehicle parking only. Huh? I ended up parking next to a dumpster in front of the main doors over the COM lettering. My friend missed turning into the plaza and did a huge u-turn. She saw me pulling into the spot, waved at me, and decided to park across from me. We both walked into the store together. It is extremely new. There weren't any promotional posters on the windows or doors. Rather, there is a TV that shows the promotions inside. We also admired the Christmas tree in the corner. My friend loved the CoCo logo behind it. She is vegan. I went with the berry party drink that has a lemon slice, strawberries, and cranberries in it. She liked my pick that she went with it, too. I got a large. She got a medium. I went to place our order. The woman at the counter was nice, but seemed extremely new and a tad confused. I said that we both wanted the berry party beverage, but she thought we wanted the yogurt version. Um, no. This place accepts Vicinity points. I paid for both our orders with a credit card. We got a table and waited for our drinks to be made. It didn't take long for our drinks. My friend fetched mine for me. We both enjoyed our berry party drinks. The flavours were yummy. The sugar and ice levels were fixed. We both commented that they weren't overly sweet and were refreshing. It was a berry party... haha! The washroom is new and extremely clean. It has a Dyson Airblade as a hand dryer. It works well. The wifi password is the cafe's phone number. It was stuck as a label on the wall closest to where we sat. The wifi is fast. This is my first time trying Coco and the experience to order was pretty great. I downloaded the App, filled in my order and gave my CC info and my order was ready in about 8 min. I tried the Jasmine Milk Tea & the Taro Milke Tea with Pearls The Jasmine Milk tea was just okkkk, There was a faint taste of tea in the drink, but it was overpowered by the milk. The tea itself didn't have much of a sweet Jasmine flavour either, it was actually a little spicy and herb-y. The Taro Milk Tea was delicious! I really liked how smooth the texture of the Taro was, and that the pearls were easier to chew than most other Bubble Tea places. read more

I came here to buy their QQ series drinks, which were the September promo. Which included QQ milk tea and QQ Black tea milk latte. QQ toppings are basically made of taro for those who don't know. It is a mixture of tapioca and taro chunks mixed together. If you're a taro fan, it is definitely a must try. Too bad QQ is not a option for toppings yet to add to other drinks. Otherwise, I bought the QQ black tea milk latte. Comes with milk foam in the milk tea. Which differentiates it from the QQ milk tea. Special is large for 4.98, which comes with the topping. A great deal considering toppings can range from 60 cents and more. I always go for less ice and no sugar. I have tried 30% sugar before and it was too sweet for my preference. read more

One of my fav places!! I've been coming here for a while since there isn't a bubble tea spot in my city and I'm always so satisfied with my drinks! They never mess up, my drinks taste amazing every time. They're also pretty quick! Tonight I ordered through the app maybe 2 minutes before I arrived and my order was ready when I got inside. Even if I don't order ahead, the wait isn't too long. My large drink was also only $5, which I think is an amazing value! My only complaint is the tiny parking lot, I wish it was bigger. Can kinda be hell to park, it's located near a college and shares a parking lot with student housing so it's sometimes full and you may need to find another area to park (Something to keep in mind if you're in a rush). Updated-I gave another chance after talking to the head office, they have put some effort to make it different. Service is definitely nicer, but it was still pleasant anyways. I haven't had an issue with drinks yet, so that's a good sign, unfortunately they still don't have taro topping that I'm looking for. They still have the liquid jelly one, not the chunks. Which is very disappointing. Overall, nice change. My rating for 2 stars is to give to the staffs who have been friendly. I have been to this location many times. I'm a big fan of bubble tea and been to many other bubble tea shops. Never had write a review, but for this location I wanted to point out some issues they have. It has been a huge disappointment so I'm at a point where I started making my own bubble tea at home. First time I went, I asked for extra taro topping. It didn't have taro chunks. I asked why, and turns out they have liquid taro or jelly kind of taro topping which doesn't make any difference in drinks and also doesn't add any taro taste. This topping is gross. I only go to Coco because they are the few bubble tea shops with the taro chunks topping. Some other time, I asked for a hot drink. It came out cold, even a girl working there told me it was cold so she decide to remake it. Some other girl personally gave me back my drink telling me it was the hottest it'gonna get, and it was still cold like my hands got cold. ???!!!??? I was just shocked, but I had already left, so didn't bother going back. They need to make it really hot, so when they add toppings they have been kept in cold place, the drink doesn't get cold. Last Saturday, I went back, just to try one more time. Obviously didn't ask for hot one because I know I'm gonna get it cold anyways. Drink was great, it was the brown sugar latte one. I finished the drink, opened the lid to grab last tapioca, and found a plastic piece that probably belongs to milk carton. I couldn't believe what happened. I was so shocked I started to laugh. I have another chance, even bigger disappointment was waiting for me. I will be writing the head office to report these issues, and I truly hope they can improve and serve better quality of drinks that can standby Coco fresh juice and tea. read more

We moved to Oshawa like 3 months ago and we are a big fan of Coco bubble tea based on our experience with Finch/midland location in Toronto. But from last three months we are not convinced by this Oshawa location maybe its new or they are all new trainees making drinks. We have fix drinks like( Bubble Gaga,Pearl tea,3 guys wmilk) but always try new drinks once in a while. Last night we got 3 guys with fresh milk and milk was not warm it felt like we are drinking milk directly from the the plastic bag with pudding, tapioca and jelly in it i had even added 30% sugar we asked them to give us hot I don't care if its really hot due ti weather we would enjoy it but the milk wasn't even Luke warm even after changing the order and we don't wanted to hold up the line hence we took whatever we got and drove back home also they stopped giving the scratch coupons too. I ordered some milk tea using the app - which is so convenient to do pick ups if you're in the area. You're able to customize your drink AND let them know what time you'll be arriving, so it's waiting for you right when you get there. We got a taro milk tea and a jasmine milk tea, both so good!
