    Spicy Fried Chicken
    Payton A.

The. Best. Fried. Chicken. It was spicy - juicy - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! We love this place (and their other Atlanta business, Budi's Sushi) not only because of the consistently stellar food, but it's so obvious that the owners care deeply about the quality of food they serve. This place is so unique (where else can to get pancakes and ramen at 10am?) and the food is absolutely stellar. Definitely give it a try! You won't regret it.

Got to work hungry, so I decided to stop by Rens. They got plenty of breakfast stuff to choose from. I ordered the two eggs and turkey bacon, and added on chicken sausage. It deliciouso! Probably come back this weekend and try some other items.

Good cozy place to eat at! The pancakes were really good--the coconut maple syrup was not too sweet and complimented the pancakes really well. Must try the cafe dumont with condensed milk! Free refills for coffee as well. Don't know anywhere else who does pancakes like this place--highly recommend this place :) clean place and nice waiter too

Pandan Pancake so yummy and fluffy. I love their breakfast menu. I highly recommend this place.

I highly recommend this place. I love their breakfast menu. The pandan pancake is fluffy and delicious.

Ren by Budi's cozy place with blue and wooden table.

The restaurant is cozy with tosca blue and wooden furniture. This place offers breakfast at another level. The pancake infused with pandan leave that brings out nutty tropical flavors and savory. The red velvet pancake taste as good as it looks. The butter punch so much falvors it spread on my palate. I can't wait for the full menu for the soto (Indonesian soup) and Ramen.

I never had brunch food like this. Every taste is good on the palate. Budi and Bela did a wonderful job on the selection and creation of their dish. I would recommend everyone to try. You won't be disappointed. Portion size is great.

I always gave Sushi Avenue good marks, but it's the difference between watching the Gwinnett Stripers and the Atlanta Braves. Everything we had was amazing. They also have a tuna cutting coming up. I got there early was able to get a seat and tried a Tokyo Autumn which is made with vodka, ginger beer, ginger, cucumber and mint--extremely refreshing and a nice way to start off the meal. We did food family style. We ordered the addictive cabbage which is made with raw cabbage, sesame oil and fried garlic chips (super tasty and I understand why they call it that) as well as the smoked scallop. It has an amazing presentation and the sauce I was able to put on the cabbage as well. It only has 2 pieces but was worth it. For the rolls, we ordered the Picante (not pictured), Fujisan and Love Triangle. My favorite roll was the picante because of the spice and the Fujisan had too much imitation crab meat for my liking. Quiet, unassuming spot that has booth seating and tables with chairs that could fit groups of up to 4-5 comfortably. There were two servers who rotated and were helping all the tables and were very sweet. I'll definitely come back!

Decatur Rd. at a very busy intersection, it sits tucked into a tiny shopping center, blink and you will drive right past it. Parking is limited, and you can immediately tell the small lot fills up fast, especially during peak hours. I stumbled upon Tenya while in town on a Tuesday, scrolling Yelp in search of a solid lunch spot, and I'm glad I did. This is a family-owned Japanese eatery that specializes in comfort food, and according to their website, everything is made from scratch, which absolutely shows in the quality. I placed my order online and picked it up with ease. I ordered the Shrimp Saku Saku appetizer along with a fresh garden Tenya salad. The shrimp were excellent, perfectly crispy with a flavorful panko coating that didn't feel heavy or greasy. The salad was impressively fresh and came with their house-made ginger dressing, which paired beautifully with the crisp greens and added just the right balance of sweetness and tang. Inside, the restaurant is quaint and cozy, with a decent amount of seating for its size. The customer service was warm and welcoming; the lady at the counter greeted me kindly and had my order ready shortly after I arrived, making the pickup process smooth and pleasant. A nice bonus is the selection of packaged Japanese snacks and drinks available at the counter, always a fun touch and something you don't see everywhere. Next time, I plan to dine in and explore more of the menu, along with sampling some of those snacks and drinks. Tenya is a great example of simple, thoughtfully prepared food done right. I'll definitely be back.

I parked on the side of a building and got out and walked. Yall! Maps took me all over the block! I got my steps in that day but it's a lot of eateries so plenty to choose from. Oh, and I enjoyed the graffiti. Just as I was about to give up, I walked by two guys and one of them said, "You look hungry. You must be looking for the noodle spot". He said that people overlook it all the time. I had walked right by the restaurant multiple times. It's seems it's several restaurants share the same space so that confuses a lot of people. Also, the sign that says "Lifting Noodles" indicating you are in the right place was lying on the ground so I missed it. The restaurant is all the way in the back. I was greeted immediately and directed to place my order via a kiosk which I did. I ordered the Angry Zuko Ramen to go. They do have tables if you want to eat there. The wait was not long at all...maybe 5 minutes. The broth was really tasty and flavorful and had a nice kick to it. The meal is already spicy and when I ordered, there was a "make it spicy" option which I checked. So I'm not sure if by checking that option, it made it even more spicy than how it normally is or not. My only complaint is there was not enough meat and the egg tasted funny.. it had a sweet taste to it. Next time, I'll request more meat and no egg.

You have to sit there and wait until they buzz your buzzer to get your food because it's made to order. Told all the things and gave all the detail. I will go back but I will probably try something else.

We ordered Tonkotsu Ramen with Char Siu. I like the serving portion. Looked small but actually very filling. The noodles were sufficient. The broth was tasty but could do with less salt. The egg that came with the Ramen was hard-boiled, I wish it was soft-boiled (6-min egg) but it's ok. I loved the bean sprouts, green onions in there - lifted the dish. The Char Siu was seared to perfection. The other order we had was the Chinatown Lo Mein. Again, the serving looked small but was sufficient. Overall a little sweet, which is unusual as most Chinese noodles aren't made sweet. Thus this was a twist to the dish that I did not like. We also ordered 2 drinks: Yuzu Lemon with Strawberry Popping Boba & TDAK Dragon Fruit Fizz. Both were too sweet. I took both home and added more ice & water - 4 drinks for the price of 2! Yay! I wished I could request for 50% sweetness.

Despite this, the restaurant was vibrant on a rainy midweek day... Almost full to capacity with patrons. Happy my partner recommended this restaurant! I sat at the bar to place my to go order and was greeted promptly by the bartender. He brought me water and provided the QR code to order. The gentleman next to me was enjoying the Bimibap which looked very enticing, but due to the cold weather, I wanted something warm. Soup was not an option and was directed to the glass noodle dish. The glass noodles were of a sweet potato consistency and included several vegetables. I did not know that the bone marrow mentioned in the description would be an actual marrow, quite large that was discovered once I dug into my dish at home. The flavors exuded were right on point! The portion was also ample for a second meal. Will definitely return to sample the Bimibap on a warmer day and possibly some of the drinks offered. I truly enjoyed the waiting period at the bar, striking up conversation and viewing Misery which was being projected on the wall... A true horror classic. I worried about my car being broken into since he knew which one was mine, but thankfully it wasn't. I entered the restaurant to a cool, casual ambiance. The waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Our table shared several items tapas-style/a la carte including: beef bulgogi, Brussels sprouts, glass noodle, scallion pancake, shishito peppers, hedo bap, and I believe one of the pork and/or chicken dishes. I can't remember which, but everything we ordered was tasty! My favorite item was the glass noodles! It was served very elegantly with the bone marrow (sorry I only got a picture of the portion I put on my plate). I'd love to take my husband here soon!
