When I called to schedule, I was told they were bundling the Groupon into three (3) 45-minute sessions, each combining three different treatments. I agreed and booked my appointments. I arrived early, and my session was with Alexis. She did a quick 5-minute consultation and began the service roughly 5 minutes later. The first portion of the session was for 15 minutes. Within those first 15 minutes, there was a knock on the door. Alexis slid the door open slightly to see who it was. Another senior therapist then pulled the door fully open, stuck her entire head inside, and said, "I have this room booked for 11:30." Alexis checked her phone, acknowledged that she saw another appointment scheduled for 11:30, and said she didn't know how the overlap happened and apologized. She then came back to continue my session. As the remaining time of the first phase was finishing, another knock came. Alexis opened the door again--this time with my bottom exposed. She told the therapist again, "I'm in the middle of a session and just starting the second phase." I tried to shake it off. But the therapist came back again, and this time Alexis stepped outside the room because I was half-naked. When she returned, she said, "After this treatment, do you mind if we switch rooms?" At that point, I said, "This is crazy. Does she realize every time she interrupts you, she's taking away time from my appointment?" Alexis began apologizing. By now we were halfway through the second phase, and she had only completed one leg. She seemed flustered, and I could feel her anxiety from whatever the other therapist said to her. Suddenly she stopped mid-session--only one leg done--and asked me to get dressed so we could move to another room. I told her, "I am in the middle of a treatment. She should inform her client about the overlapping appointment or reschedule them or have her wait the 15 minutes. But she just stopped and asked for me to switch rooms because the ultrasonic machine is in that room the therapist wants to use. I said no. I will not be switching. She said ok she understands and apologized again, which I appreciated, but the whole situation was increasingly uncomfortable. On my way out the other therapist was standing there with her client and asked, oh how was the service? Did you like it? I said no and walked out. The owner, upon being informed of my experience, called to express her apologies. I appreciated the call, but it felt disheartening that she was apologizing for the staff's mistakes. As a business owner, I understand that any shortcomings reflect on her. However, what struck me was her request for me not to write a review. I explained my concern for others who might have a similar experience and might not speak up. I encouraged her to consider how this could affect people who saved their money for treatments like these. The owner assured me that she would work to prevent such issues in the future. What disappointed me the most was her plea for me to not share my experience without offering any form of compensation, such as a complete treatment to make up for what I endured. It left me wondering how many clients might be subject to similar service without any recourse. In conclusion, while the potential for quality service may exists at Immortal Skin, my experience was marred by poor management and lack of respect for clients. Until they address these glaring issues, I find it difficult to recommend them. Transparency and accountability are key in the service industry, and I hope they can turn this situation around for the benefit of future clients.

They had a one room operation out of a chiropractors office, but they were so sweet, and patient, and professional it was a wonderful experience. I purchased 6 laser hair removal sessions, but timed it all wrong and wound up graduating long before I was able to use them all. I only went to two sessions and then moved to NYC and was not willing to make the hour drive to finish out my sessions. Even with just the two sessions I completed, my hair became so fine and thin and light that I could shave with ease and it was so much easier to deal with. No more red bumps and ingrown hairs.This lasted for YEARS, until I got pregnant and I guess a fresh batch of hormones woke my dead follicles! So I just purchased another package (I assumed my old one had expired, but I am please to informed that it didn't so I have 4 more sessions left over from 6 years ago!) and started going again. They have grown so much, they now have their own location (not inside a doctors office) and it is so bright and clean and welcoming. I got there 30 minutes early and had to wait about 5-10 minutes while they finished up the lady before me and then I was seen. I did a medium area and a small area and I was in and out in 2-3 minutes TOPS! I was in my car on my way home by 6:45pm, which was actually the time my appointment was supposed to START. I love this place and the staff so much, that driving 40 minutes doesn't even phase me. The price is still SO much cheaper than anything reputable by me. The Process isn't nearly as painful as some make it seem. I would liken it to MILD tattoo pain. The smell of burning hair is honestly more uncomfortable than the "pain." I wouldn't even classify it as "pain" more like discomfort. But I will say I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. Some advice, you cannot treat an area that is TAN IN ANY WAY. If you lie and say its not tan and they treat the area, you risk severe burns. I had a friend go to a very SHADY place (NOT NU-SKIN) and they didn't ask if she was tanned, they just treated her stomach and she got 3rd degree burns and is now involved in a law suit. Also cannot get laser hair removal if you are on antibiotics or certain other photosensitive drugs.

It's the time to drive to Suffern and the excruciating pain I endured for very little results. I also witnessed significant staff turnover and had serious concerns about how employees were treated, including concerns about employee pay and commissions. Overall, my experience left me feeling that money and profit were being prioritized over clients and staff. After five years of loyalty, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this practice. I strongly recommend asking detailed questions about cancellation fees, payments, employee compensation, and commission policies before giving them your business.

I was than escorted to a separate room where my options were explained to me in detail. All my concerns were addressed. Although there is no cure for rosacea, the staff offered Different variations of treatment to help reduce the redness and inflammation on my face which was very noticeable. After choosing a treatment I was shocked to learn that treatment that we chose was surprisingly affordable. After a few minutes I was led to a different room to began my treatment. I was again put at ease by the professionalism of the staff as they again explained step by step what to except as the procedure began. The staff held a full conversation with me during my procedure which made my time there seem to go a lot faster. During the Procedure my face responded extremely well to the treatment that was chosen. Majority of the redness and small bumps around my nose area were cut by more than 1/2. I'm not sure if they are nurses or medical assistants, but they were watching tik toks in the hallway with the volume blasting and running up and down the hallway giggling. During the conversation, I simply mentioned that I had previously had facial fat grafting as part of my cosmetic history. I was then told the consultation would be $400. To be clear, I am not seeking revision surgery. I have not had a failed procedure that needs to be corrected. I simply disclosed that I had previously had fat grafting to my face. When I asked why that changed a $285 consultation into a $400 consultation, the response I received was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. That interaction immediately raised a larger question for me: why would I pay $400 just to consult with a Bergen County practice when Manhattan is minutes away and offers access to some of the country's most experienced oculoplastic and facial plastic surgeons--physicians whose practices encompass complex lower-eyelid surgery, tear-trough correction, fat repositioning, orbital and midface work--often with more reasonable or clearly explained consultation policies? Cosmetic medicine has entered an era of extraordinary pricing: consultation fees, procedure fees and seemingly endless tiers of additional charges. Expertise deserves to be compensated. But increasingly inflated pricing does not automatically equal greater expertise. Patients--particularly women, who make up such a large percentage of the cosmetic surgery market--should be able to ask a simple question about a fee without being treated as though they're inconveniencing the office. A $400 consultation fee because I disclosed prior facial fat grafting, combined with the attitude I received when I questioned it, was enough for me. There are simply too many exceptional specialists in New York and New Jersey competing for patients to tolerate this kind of experience. Expertise matters. So do transparency, professionalism and humility. For me: thank you but no thank you.

I iced my eyes with a bag of frozen peas (as recommended) every hour for 15 minutes for the first 5 days and my bruising was at a minimum. I'm so happy with my results and Dr. Landmann says it will continue to improve over the next year. I would highly recommend having this done! See attached photos of underarms 1 month post completion of treatment. Please note this is after shaving 5 hours prior. Legs look worse. There was a total of 6 treatments. Hair is coarse, but sparse to begin with and not much different after. Perhaps I am just not a candidate for laser hair removal. October 2022 UPDATE: I had a second opinon and I am glad I did! The new place looked at my underarms with a big magnifying glass and was able to see that all of the hair was growing back. I was given one treatment so far and at a very reasonable price (no more than what I was charged here). The treatment stung a bit more, but felt like it penetrated much deeper. Prior to this new place, it never felt like it reached the root, except for treatment #4 when the settings were changed. However, on treatment 5 & 6, it felt like it was not hitting far enough again. Never at any point was there a time when there was no hair to shave. I do not want to say too much on the new place until I know more, but the woman doing it seemed very confident and so far I am happy.
