Ramen

I'm excited that there are so many options now in the rail yard and ramen being one of them! Started out drinking at some of the bars near by and stopped in to try remix. Supposedly they are owned by the same people as goro, however, not as good as goro in my opinion. They have a different menu which was a nice change up and a good way to end a night of drinking

Birria ramen

We went there for lunch & try the new ramen place since we love eating ramen. We ordered Birria & Pork belly Sando (Sandwich). The Birria ramen is a beef broth base with ground beef, it taste just like Birria the Mexican stew. If you looking for the typical ramen, this one is not. It's basically a Mexican beef stew with ramen noodle in it. It was good, my son likes it. The pork belly sando came doesn't look like the one in the pictures that I saw on one of the posts. It's flat & unappealing to me. When I ate it, all the sauce was dripping. Taste wise it was good, but a bit dissapointed with the presentation.

I've been obsessed with this place after first learning about it in 405 Magazine and have been going here everyday three days in a row straight (just to sample all their innovative ramen varieties). So far, I've tried their House Ramen (plenty of Naruto), Grilled Mushroom (very flavorful), Thai Fighter (excellent peanut broth), Breakfast Bowl (great breakfast item with rice cakes not noodles), and Chilled Curry Ramen (very satisfying and cool green curry noodle dish). Out of the appetizers I've tried their Crab Rangoon nachos, their Pork Belly Sando (sandwich) and the Crispy Chicken Bites, and their Triple Matcha dessert is awesome. The one suggestion I have is to add Japanese soft drinks like Calpico, Ramune, etc. since they only offer Coke, Sprite Dr. Pepper (but an assortment of cool sakes, Sapporo, Asahi Super Dry, Kirin Ichiban and other Japanese beers). Located in the Edmond Railyard (cool interior decor) featuring excellent prompt service and not to be missed!!!

Fun spot! Friendly staff and cute indoor seating area. In an awesome area too with lots of food, coffee, dessert options. Very unique ramen dishes. Super tasty. Great portion sizes. Highly recommend the house ramen - great pork belly!

Got the Thai fighter and it's was spectacular! It was different from normal ramen in the best ways. Food was hot and came out FAST. If you are a ramen place this worth the drive time edmond. My friend got some of the standard fair and they were all happy. fair warning if you get the spicy ramen, it's got some kick!

Great to have another ramen spot in Edmond! Great flavors, nice atmosphere, and don't even get me started on the matcha soft serve (delicious & refreshing!). The staff was friendly and offered some recommendations. We got the Sticky Fries, Spicy Chicken Ramen, Birria Ramen, Pork Belly Sando, and the Triple Matcha dessert. All very good. I do wish the chicken meatballs in the spicy ramen were a bit smaller, but overall was very tasty. We did have a small issue with my husband's ramen, the Birria. He came across a few hard pieces that looked like stems from...something. We couldn't figure out exactly what they were so he did bring it to the manager's attention. Turns out they were hardened pepper stems. The manager was apologetic and also thankful that we brought that to their attention, so it should no longer be an issue going forward. But even still he really enjoyed his ramen. Overall we enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back! In the meantime, I will be having dreams of the amazing matcha soft serve

The atmosphere is good, pretty clean and good service but the food has no flavor, wouldn't go again nor recommend to others.

Very greasy broth. Cool branding idea. The egg rolls were pretty good. The meatball things were different. I like Tamashi better.

OKC is home to some truly fantastic breweries but Battered Boar seems to fly under the radar. I only found out about them when they opened just down the road from me, so I had to try them out. The first trip was odd, since they are so different from any other brewery/taphouse I've visited. First, the place is very small, dark and eccentrically decorated with some pretty cool stuff. They have the usual colorful board menu describing all of their beers but you have to look at the tiny whiteboard on the counter to see what they actually have on that day, and it's usually a fraction of what is on the wall. One of the things I don't like is their presentation of the beers. They seem to have a rehearsed spiel they go thru to describe the beers and although they are descriptive, as a beer enthusiast I like a more detailed description I can relate to standard beer styles. But, this is where Battered Boar really stands out, because most of their beers are unique and don't seem to fit into traditional beer categories. I'm not a big fan of all of their beers, but they are extremely creative and all of the beers are very well executed. Their brewers really have their craft honed to perfection. This is some of the smoothest and most flavorful beer I've had and there is zero evidence of any "off-flavors" present. They also have some really cool water chemistry going in that greatly impact the experience of their beers. My favorite beer in their lineup is the Lime Salten. Very bizarre at first, but quickly addictive. Their coconut cream stout is also amazing. For beer lovers, I can highly recommend Battered Boar Brewery. Don't go there and expect to find the latest IPA, Pilsner or Brown Ale. Battered Boar's beers don't really fall into those categories and are so unique. I would love to read an in-depth article on their brewing techniques, ingredients and equipment!

They had two fans going instead. The seating was not comfortable and it was kind of a weird set up. They only had 4-5 of their beers available when we went in. You order and then wait awhile for someone to bring it from a back room you can't see. It was the longest I've waited for a beer at any brewery I've been to anywhere in the US. The staff were friendly. I tried the lime sultan and it was like drinking salt. I wouldn't recommend. My friend had one of their fruity beers which wasn't bad. I would not go back. Hope their set up gets better. They said they had moved there the first of the year and it is now August.

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items.

This is my first time seeing and trying their brunch menu. They have great brunch options and the brunch bowl I got was great. The bowl with loaded with queso and potatoes.
