Great little spot in Edmond. Was shopping craving ramen and this little spot caught my eye. The place is nice clean and quiet. The ramen was so delicious and an amazing price for a combo $10 for ramen , rice , two fry chicken. And it's good!!! The staff was nice and sweet . I recommend giving them a shot

When we first arrived it was empty but a few other tables trickled in soon after. I like ordering at the counter and then the food arriving. It's smart not to mess with wait staff. My husband and I got the $10 combo of ramen, fried rice and 2 wings. Ramen was good but not the best. It was filling though so we took the rice and wings for leftovers. The wings were a good size. They were really drummettes. Out of everything, the rice was the best. For the price, it is definitely worth going here and there.

This place doesn't get the love it deserves! I came here for the first time last week and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. I had been hearing about this $10 special for a bowl of ramen, 2 wings and fried rice, thinking it was either a limited time thing or too good to be true, but when I walked in I saw that was their primary menu item! Their Korean style wings were fantastic. They had a really nice crispness to them, excellent flavor, and they were BIG. A lot of places have been using smaller and smaller wings over the past several years due to rising food cost, so I give Meiji a ton of credit for using larger wings like we used to see "back in the day". The ramen wasn't the best ramen in the city but it was still really really good, and even better considering the price point. The $10 meal is an absolutely steal tbh. Don't hesitate to come try them out!

Adding an update review since I gave this place its first Yelp review and set it up. Still great ramen, wings, and gyoza. Could use more variety in beverages. And they need to slow down the speed on the LCD screen displaying their menu - it moves so fast you can't even read anything. Also their ambience could be improved by adding more things in the back and around - it's a massive space! If they can't get a liquor license, maybe turning that back area into a sushi bar or ramen fix-in bar or something?

We dropped by here on a busy weekday night when cooking and cleaning the kitchen just seemed impossible. The good: We loved the value. We both ordered their $9.99 value meals. I got the ramen + 2 pcs. wings + fried rice deal and my dinner partner ordered the $9.99 Japanese garlic fried rice + 2 pcs. wings + vegetables. It was so much food. We had leftovers for a couple of days. We didn't leave hungry or broke! The flavor of the wings were the best part of the meal. Second table favorite was the veggies and next was the fried rice. I've had better fried rice, but this was just fine. Next time I think I might skip the ramen and just get the wings and fried rice and veggies. The could-have-been-better: The "ramen" we both agreed is better classified as a soup as it just didn't deliver on the full flavored ramen broth experience. If I have a hankering for ramen, I won't come here. But as a soup, it was okay. The temperature the food was served was overall was cooler than I expected or would have hoped for. It was acceptable, but just barely. I wouldn't say it was served hot. There was just something off about the atmosphere. We couldn't figure out if it was a carryover from some restaurant that had been there before or if they were in the midst of a renovation project and just hadn't finished yet. Overall, it was fine for a quick 'n cheap drop in weeknight meal, but I wouldn't come here for a fun weekend night out with friends. If I return then I'll probably just stick to getting a few wings. They were pretty tasty. November 2023

Spicy ramen, side of rice, spicy wings

Huge portions, great prices. Restaurant is still in its early stages. $9.99 gets you a huge ramen bowl, rice, wings, and a drink.

Tonkatsu ramen, fried rice and Buffalo chicken wings

Tonkatsunramen here is super good. We got the combo. Fried rice with buffalo wings. Super cheap and lots of yummy food and people are super nice here. It's towards the side. Big inside. I would definitely come back here lots!

Chicken ramen

Staff were pleasant & nice. Prices are very affordable but the broth for the ramen is way too thin/light with not much flavor. The eggs were not even ramen style quality eggs. The restaurant is very spacious.

Service is absolutely terrible and very rude. This place walking in is quite deceiving inside looks like a desert. This is the worst ramen I've ever had. I'm literally had store bought ramen that puts this to shame.

Tankutsu ramen

The service was very fast and the people are so nice. Highly recommend Tonkutsu ramen and gyoza. Place looks like it's still being developed but we will go back for sure.

This place is a gem. Fabulous service, great food at a great price. Overall I was surprised and would definitely recommend checking out this place.

Just not a ramen fan, so I can't go for 5 stars. Maybe you'll like it. It's cooked well for ramen.

The hanging wish cards, the wood accents, the little booth seating areas, even the lighting all work together. It is one of those places where you catch yourself looking around instead of just staring at your phone while you wait for food. Now the important part. The ramen. This was not some sad, watered down airport food court attempt at ramen. The broth was rich without being overwhelming, the noodles had the right bite, and everything in the bowl actually tasted like it belonged there. The pork was tender, the egg was perfect, and yes, I am now the kind of person who notices if an egg is done right. Even the little details were on point. Clean presentation, good portion sizes, and everything came out hot and fast without feeling rushed. The drinks were solid too, and I may or may not have been tempted to order a second round just to justify sitting there longer. Service was friendly and efficient, we had a fun time with our server. Nothing worse than great food and a weird vibe. Not the case here. If you are someone who thinks ramen is just instant noodles with better marketing, go here and let that belief die. I will absolutely be back. Probably sooner than I should be.

The ramen was not good or tasty to us, so we didn't order it again this time. My notes for last time was that the ramen was flavorless, and watery. This time, today, we ordered the Honeycomb Platter, Takoyaki, Chicken Wings (KBBQ), Pan-Fried Gyoza, and the Smashed Cucumber. Honeycomb Platter 10/10 - always good. Good flavor variety. My favorite is the shrimp. My girlfriends favorite is also the shrimp. Smashed Cucumber 7/10 - was not smashed like in photo. That's OK. Sliced cucumber with a chili vinaigrette. Fresh but a bit spicy. Takoyaki 5/10 - not the best we've had but we are picky. Good for people who are trying Takoyaki for the first time. Nice filling but lame flavor. Chicken Wings (KBBQ) 5/10 - 6 wings, half flats half drum. Tasty, but wing quality is just OK. Tangy KBBQ flavor. Medium crispness. Pan-Fried Gyoza 8/10 - yummy ! Not crispy on bottom but it was still pretty good. Pork inside is juicy and tender. Very cool presentation. We liked the variety of things we ordered this time, but could've done without the wings and extra Takoyaki, as the honeycomb platter comes with 2 balls. We sat upstairs in the honeycomb booths this time. Felt private enough but the acoustics made me feel like everyone could hear everything. Bright and quiet enough for a midday lunch today. Will probs be back another time for some other apps. Thanks

Just got a quick snack while we were in the area! And also I've seen it around on Instagram…read moresomewhere so was curious about it. It was pretty hot when we went, and I really wanted to try the Birria noodles but it was just way too hot for brothy noodles right now. So I opted for the crab Rangoon nachos, which to be honest, was just okay. Wish there was a little more crab, and while the flavors were great I think it was a liiiittle too heavy handed on the spicy mayo. Place is super cute though! Looks super trendy, and the service was great and food came out super quick. I left this place at four stars because I do think it deserves a second visit! Perhaps ramen next time.

The kids didn't really care for it, as it lacked flavor even for a child so they all dumped soy sauce into their broth which they said helped. I ordered the same spicy chicken ramen, but presentation and flavor was completely different than the first time. There was way too much sesame seeds and fried garlic in my broth and the noodles were super hard. My ramen was pretty much hard noodles in a fried garlic and sesame seed chunky broth. I barely ate my ramen and gave all my noodles to my hubby. My hubby did not like his pork belly ramen at all. I think we both agreed we probably will stick to other ramen places, and only come here if we are invited by friends. Hoping they can make this place more consistent in the future.

Quite a nice little hidden gem with mom & pop vibes…read more We ordered both types of dumplings, steamed and fried. I was hoping that the fried ones would be panfried on one side, not totally fried, but they were more on the fast foody "fried" side. The steamed ones were delicious. I had the Dan Dan noodles which were excellent and very satisfying. Normally I have to put extra sauce on noodle dishes to give it more flavor, but these were sufficiently tasty. My dad got the braised beef noodle, which was very light compared to other places, which is both a good and a bad thing. It was significantly less greasy, but also significantly less "explode your face" vibes. So depending on what type of braised beef noodle you prefer, you may or may not like this version. The chili oil potatoes were super addicting. I'd order them again. All in all, the place is very solid and worth a visit. I plan to come back and try the curry.

We started with the lightly fried dumplings which were good. I had the spicy braised beef with medium spice level. The noodles tasted house made and just right. I did mix thoroughly to distribute the chili. The soup was very satisfying and got gradually spicier until the end when I was brought to tears (in the best way). My wife, who lived in Asian countries when young, was disappointed in her Chili Oil Dry Noodles. I'm allergic to peanuts so not able to describe. It's a small menu, but more than enough. Definitely worth a try.
