We've been here many times and the food and staff are great! Their new Moose burger is one of the best we had anywhere. It is a 1/2 or 1/3 # burger with lettuce, tomato, thick bacon on a pretzel bun with fries. It is AWESOME! read more

This place is awesome! My friend's family has a cabin on Lake Wisconsin and we've started meeting up there every few months as it's a good meeting place between Minneapolis and Chicago. We usually meet up at Remi's before going to the cabin for a few drinks and snacks, unless we get in late. Last time we spent all Saturday afternoon just hanging out. The food is super yummy, I really like the red pepper gouda soup and my asian chicken sandwich. Everything is fresh and hot. The southwest eggrolls are also great. They have a great drink selection, but only two tap beers. But the beers are good, we got Edmund Fitzgerald for $3.50 a pint, which is fantastic pricing. Also be sure to try their shots, especially as some are homemade. The apple pie shot was delicious. read more

So we were looking for a great fish fry. Remi's received five stars on Yelp. Come on, five stars for a fish fry? Off to Remi's we go. Outstanding lake view. Kind of quiet. Truth be told, it was 4:15 pm on a Friday. Glad we got there when we did. Helen was our server, and she's part owner of this family-owned business. Sweet! Ordered beverages. Tons of craft beer and hard lemonades to select from. Helen brought out a sample of their homemade shrimp/corn chowder. Helen then brought out our order of some of the best chowder I've ever had. We followed that up with a shrimp basket that was piping hot and soooo good. I ordered the haddock - reluctantly, because sometimes haddock can be fishy. Crispy on the outside and sweet on the inside. Couldn't have asked for more. Their cole slaw is homemade. Thin cut and tangy. Even better than that, and that rocked, was their homemade cucumber salad. Our now go-to place. We have to time it right, because by the time we were leaving, they were filling up. read more

Service was great and they easily accommodated our party of 8 on a Saturday around 5:30pm. Place was maybe 1/4 full when we got there but filled up quickly. Definitely a popular local place. This was going to be our go to spot on Lake Wisconsin. We like to support the locals. Springtime we experienced very slow and inattentive service. This summer when adult kids visited there they experienced the same. Went there last night and waited over an hour for burgers and sandwiches. The one waitress was actually snippy and the other amazingly innocently straight faced and faked an apology about the wait. The food is good when you get it. This place has some potential but they need to hire more help who give a rip about customer service. read more

We decided to try out the Thirsty Moose because of all the Yelp reviews. We are so glad we did! I can say only wonderful things. The view was fantastic, so peaceful. Tracy, our waitress was so unbelievably friendly and knowledgable. She made us feel right at home. Finally, the food was fantastic! We had Cheddar Jalapeño nuggets for an appetizer, the ultimate bar food! So good. I had a Rueben with Sweet Potato Fries. The Rueben was the best one I have ever had and the fries were so good. On a drive back from vacation we wanted a stop off that would be good simple food, family friendly, not a chain, and not in the busy spring break dells. This stop was perfect! Such a beautiful view of the lake to escape the highway and the travel. They were very family friendly and extremely welcoming for a non-local. We had a steak sandwich, a burger, and my son ordered brisket, BBQ, and bacon sandwich. We ate all our food. Also make sure to try their special sauce for a slight kick. If your looking for a place to grab fish fry the relaxed atmosphere and the views are of lake wisconsin are nice. The perch fish fry was good. Came here with our group of girls for our ladies weekend From Chicago. After visiting all the bars on the Lake we all came to a mutual agreement that Remi's Thirsty Moose is the best there is on beautiful Lake Wisconsin. The food at Remi's is very good, and Shane does a great job behind the bar, but the wait staff is not very good. It seems to be a trend in restaurants in the area (Fish Tales is the exception). Great place to hang out in the summer, especially the outside bar. read more

We found this amazing place on Yelp! Thanks Yelpers! I had the Philly Cheese Steak and my fiancé had the 1/2 lb Moose Burger..both amazing! The burger had in house cured bacon! The bartender was so friendly and gave us history of the area..and he makes a mean Bloody Mary! I forgot to mention the place is situated on the water and watching the boats come in was a relaxing break on this long journey! A must stop for great eats and drinks!! read more

I was visiting the area while skiing near-by and was very impressed with both the service and the food at Remi's. The kitchen serves food until 9pm and although we showed up just as the clock struck 9, they were happy to offer a full food menu. So thankful and very pleased with the experience. Took my parents to lunch here yesterday. Although it's almost a straight shot from the freeway when you first turn in it appears to be just a boat dock.. all the snow didn't help matters. They could use a sign at the road to help let people know they are in the right spot. Once you drive past the boat dock it's a beautiful location, especially in the summer, being lake front and all. We came in the middle of winter and there were snowmobiles and dirt bikes doing laps around the lake which was kinda fun to watch. The inside was nice and very clean. We were greeted immediately and told to pick a table and she'd be right over with menus. She informed us if the specials and took our drink orders. I had a Bloody Mary and it could have used some cheese or meat stick but otherwise the drink itself was good. She informed us of the specials and we ordered two double quarter pounders and two pulled pork. With an appetizer of cheese curds. The curds were delicious.. could have used a bigger serving but perhaps that's just cuz I love them so much and they were shared with 4 people lol. The food came out in a timely manner and the pulled pork and onion rings were delicious! We added our own amount of BBQ from a caddy of sauces that was brought over, which I liked. Not sure if it's homemade sauce but it was pretty tasty. The meat by itself though was very flavorful and moist. I heard from my parents their burgers were equally delicious. All in all a pretty good lunch and I can't wait to come back during the summer and enjoy the outside area. If I could have done 4.5 stars I would have.. if you're looking for good food off the beaten path this is an awesome place! read more
