If I could give zero stars I would. The best part of the Remingtons is Tammy and her alone. She was the ONLY one willing to help when we needed it. We requested countless times for things to be fixed or replaced including our washer which had to get to point of flooding our 3rd floor apt before they would actually do something to fix it. Dishwasher never worked and they never attempted to replace it and yes we did in fact report this issue. Gates to the property constantly broken which led to countless homeless living in the dog parks, in the regular park, and even using our pool this last summer. After keeping our deposit, they some how found a way to charge $3200 for "documented damages". We also requested the invoices for repairs done after leaving just so we could also be sure of what we were being charged from venders, only to have received the reciept for what the apartment was charging us 3 times. We really did try to work with them and be the best residence we could be as two right out of college and highschool girls, but 3 years of over paying and never being late on a single payment for a less than mediocre place to call "home" and that's what we get. If you value your time and money this is most likely the last place I would ever recommend. read more

Remington is a beautiful community with lush landscaping. The swimming pool and outdoor living center is so peaceful. They offer parcel lockers and valet trash which is a dream. The gym is enormous and the theater is available for everyone that lives here but the best is the staff! read more

Do not move here. The apartment manager Angie sucks and has a terrible attitude. The chemicals used around the complex will poison, if not kill your dog. They will charge you for anything and everything when you move out, so do not expect to get your security deposit back. The appliances and gym facility are outdated, the pool is closed half the time. Save your money and peace of mind. read more

I have been living here for about a month and I love it! It's in a great area, the property is beautifully landscaped and I feel very safe living here. 2 Months pregnant with an almost 1 year old going down my stairs TWO weeks ago and SLID on cat poop and cat liter trailing all the way down to the first floor. I'm just lucky no one has actually hurt themselves even though it's been there for weeks and management couldn't care less to even notice but they do know how to take a 21 year old pregnant woman with a family who's NEVER PAID RENT A DAY LATE IN MY LIFE to court and evict my family and i! Tammy in the front office is so rude and can't ever answer any questions yet she literally lives at these apartments??? Vallet service is a joke, whether they fail to show up and do their job or spill trash absolutely all over the entire complex (TRAILS OF GARBAGE), oh did i mention you pay for this service to be done. They charge for everything like renters insurance even though you're paying insurance though your monthly rent. The best part of all, my beautiful, well trained, healthy 5 year old Golden Retriever had gotten sick 4 times in a total of 4 months staying at The Remington because their lawn care is never tended to (he got sick with Giardia all 4 times) and when lawn service does show up they do a horrible job, it looks like they don't even trim or cut the grass here. Water and dog poop and sewage just piles up and the grass is just soaking wet CONSTANTLY even with previous weeks of no rain. It may "seem" like a quiet, cute, clean place to live, looks are DECEIVING!!! Beware of car hoppers!! I've witnessed at least 6 car break ins and leave voicemails for the front office and nothing is ever done:) Absolutely terrible management and would never recommend anyone to ever live here. I thought this property was going to be great, but it's been a complete bust so far. It was so dirty moving in, don't think anyone cared about cleaning it after the last tenant. The appliances are garbage. Not only do keep breaking but they destroy my belongings (washer shreds my clothes/blankets). Everything backs up and STINKS The sewage pipes in the building are clogged. There's a charge for everything here, you have to pay for parcel lockers when the carriers don't even use them, you have to pay pet rent on top iof deposits, you have to pay for the properties insurance on top of your own renters insurance the list goes on and they are NOT up front about it all. Their communication is horrible. They don't monitor their third parties coming into your home either. They also promised updates before I moved in, and that never happened and still haven't gotten them. The trash area is DISGUSTING like it's never picked up. The complex is LITTERED with trash. Everywhere. It's embarrassing. The gates haven't worked since moving in so if you're looking for an actual gated community look elsewhere. The apartment itself is not worth the money they're asking. There's nothing special, my camper has a better sink than this kitchen and the stove works like it's from 1992. The walls are paper thin here, and the carpet shreds like crazy. There isn't anything here at this point that would make me recommend this property over any of its neighbors, and I wish I had chosen different. read more

I have lived here for 4 years now and it has been a great experience. What initially drew me to the property was the beautiful landscaping. I was first renting a one bedroom but transitioned my lease to a 2 bedroom after the first 2 years which was a super easy thanks to the office staff. Tammie and Nichole are both fantastic! My work orders are always filled in a timely manner and I love the amenities. The pool is beautiful with lots of lounge chairs which is great in the summer and the gift wrapping station is a lifesaver. I would also like to add that I really appreciate that they value security and I often see the security guard making his rounds at night which makes me feel very safe. I would definitely recommend living here! read more

In the past two weeks. Some one broke In to my car and stole stuff from it and after one week someone stole the car's tag. So In less then 2 week got robbed twice. Also there is trash lying on the floor in front my apartment door and the stairs for more then a week. read more

The manager is not a people person at all. She will be walking by with another staff member, make a comment to the staff member about you, point toward you, and tell that member, she needs to fix the fact that I have a second dog (not hiding dog, do the paperwork). Should have addressed me If she doesn't care for you; then you know it. She will pick on you. I know this because I know of a couple pf people, she doesn't care for, have heard comments she has made to both of them. Even gave one a none renewal letter. Gave it to the person in front of two residents & said "I made the decision for you". Very unprofessional. read more

Love the management- Britney in leasing is soooo sweet and personable. She helped me find the perfect apartment for me and my dog. Dayna, assistant manager, did my move-in and was very helpful. I'm new to the area so she told me all the best places to go in town. Mark, maintenance, was so sweet he helped me with my tv and was super cute. This complex is owned by Gaines, which is nothing but a money machine. Everything is $$$ for them. Here are the key points that we should mention during our residence here: 1- Landscape is beautiful, but get ready for leaf blowers to cover your car with leaves, dirt, and dust. Every time we wash our cars they ruin them 2- They can take a lower renters insurance, then force you to get the 300k coverage. Guess what, they will force you! 3- Fees are ridiculous: On top of your rent: you will pay Sewer, Trash, Water, Pest control, Valley trash pick-up, stormwater, admin fee (for giving you a bill,) and it is so expensive. If you don't agree to the fees, they will tell you, a third party is the one responsible. In the end, you will pay it anyways. 4- Your rent will go up every year you renew with them. 5- The trash gets so full and makes it out of the trash area. You will throw it on the ground. 6- Gates broke: wait forever, they will fix them when they can, and it usually takes a month or two. 7- If you move out early, and you give your 60 days notice as you are supposed. They will take a double rent, from you and from the person they rented to and they will play games in your last statement so they don't get caught. IT IS ILLEGAL! Yet, they collected rent and utilities from us and from the new resident and put our rent as a breaking fee, so they don't look like they were breaking the law. 8- You live by the trash? You are forced to sign up for a trash pick-up even if you don't want it. 9- The office staff will lie to you about everything to get your hard-earned money. 10- Get ready to fall when it's icy because they won't clear it. 11- We reported at least 3 safety concerns about non-resident approaching residents asking for cigarettes and a guy I saw, personally, in QT begging, walking around the complex. I sent them emails highlighting the safety concern. I did not get a reply or even a call to investigate it. They don't care. STAY AWAY! read more

Extremely poor tenant experience, I have been living here for 6 years now. The management has changed over last 9 months or so. Very rude and unpleasant communication. Also they will keep your lease hostage to have you change the insurance policy at the last minute which may increase your rates. When asked they say it is mentioned in your lease but they have been using the same policy for last 3 years and they have not informed about this until after new lease is signed. read more

The absolutely worst experience ever!!!! When we first moved in it was pretty nice. The ladies at the office were pretty friendly. Unfortunately, after a few months we've experiencing the worst with our neighbors. I am pregnant and having to deal with our apartment smelling like cigarettes (secondhand smoke)every night. Plus our neighbors upstairs literally never sleeps. They are so noisy and it's frustrated. We complained to management and nothing happened. I am currently counting down the days till our lease is up. It's horrible. I hate coming home having to deal with inconsiderate neighbors. It's pretty sad that you're paying for rent and having to sleep elsewhere to avoid the stress of being home. read more

We recently had a snow storm in Tulsa and the sidewalks, steps and roads at the Remington were extremely icy. After almost slipping, I called the office and asked if they would please clear the ice, sand or salt icy areas in the complex. I was told by Angie, the office manager, that snow and ice are considered an "Act of God" and that Gaines Property Management forbids them to do anything due to liability concerns on them. She even mentioned that she had just received a lengthy email from Gaines reminding her NOT to touch the ice. This speaks volumes about Gaines Property Management as money seems to be a much bigger concern to them than the SAFETY of their residents. When I told Angie I was nervous about slipping on the ice she replied "Hopefully it will melt soon." Shame on Gaines Property Management! read more

This place is awful. The gate is always broken. The office is never open when it's supposed to be open. It's pretty much impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office, and if you do get ahold of them, they aren't helpful. You have to ask at least 3 times before any maintenance requests are fixed. Love the apartments, but management is rude and never willing to help! They don't return phone calls, but they will blow you up AT WORK for putting your trash out late or early. The only reason I stay is because it's a beautiful, quite place to live and the Maintenance guys are awesome! They are so nice and helpful. Management could learn from them. I have lived here for 10 months, and have nothing but praise for the staff at all levels. The slightest problem is remedied almost immediately and with a smile. And there are very few problems. Everyone has a smile on their face and a nice greeting. The annual pool party was excellent and I look forward to next year. The grounds are kept pristine and all the shrubbery is nicely trimmed. We moved in July 2018 and chose these apartments for the reasonable price, cleanliness, large apartments and location. Things started fine, but have continually gone downhill. We've had countless maintenance issues, and although typically maintenance is quick to come, it's annoying always having something off. Half of our lights in the apartment don't work randomly (they're not burned out, it's obviously an electric issue), the garbage disposal is constantly clogged and we will have other people's chopped up food wind up in our dishwasher so we always have to hand wash our dishes again after the dishwasher but we can't even do that now- we haven't had a working kitchen sink for a week. They told us they'd order parts last week, we checked yesterday and they hadn't even ordered yet. Their excuse "we're behind". That's it. The dumpster area is beyond disgusting and always overflowing. The back gate is broken half the time and people from memorial just walk through into the complex. The ventilation is also insane- we couldn't even stay in our own apartment all summer because it was so hot and unbearable. Luckily we have family in town that we stayed with but I feel for those who don't. Paint and new carpet can only fix so much- these buildings are old and beyond fixing. Pay the extra $50/month for something brand new. Tulsa has way too many good options now for this still to be anyone's top pick. We are so ready for our lease to be over. read more

Absolutely horrible experience! The Remington has the most unfriendly, unhelpful and unknowledgeable staff I've ever dealt with at an apartment complex. I have lived here one year and the security gate has only worked about half the time. There's only one way into the complex and it's off a busy 81st street where we've witnessed numerous accidents. Their valet trash is a joke! Residents pile up trash at the bottom of the stairwells on a daily basis with trash sometimes sitting there stinking all weekend. If you like dog feces this is the place for you. No one cleans up after their pets. The chairs in the game room are rickety and the workout equipment never works. Lived here years ago, but am still haunted with my experience with the management company (Case and Associates) that runs these, and many other apartments in Tulsa. When moving out, we meticulously cleaned our well taken care of apartment. We missed a green tea stain on the carpet that was so light you could only see it in the right light. Big mistake. They replaced the entire carpet on us and sent the bill to the wrong address. After calling several times about our deposit and them saying they'd look into it, I finally found out they'd charged us (over $800) to replace the carpet after a collections agency came after us. When talking with management in person about the situation they claimed there was nothing they could do (I later found out that they could have easily done something, but apparently just didn't want to). Ultimately, I had to pay the collections agency off which also screwed me with the false date they reported it as paid. This issue continues to affect my credit (keeping it from being at the top) and I often regret that I did not sue. Be very wary of working with this management company as they will not hesitate to find ways to place charges on you while you get lost in their bureaucracy and incompetence. read more

She was respectful, easy going and understanding of my situation. I did not have to move from my current apt. but I was going to move here because of the way I was treated by Tammy and the nice apts.
