All you have to bring is your clothes, toiletries, and food. Everything else is provided. You couldn't ask for a better location which provides quick local access to all around town because of the proximity to highways. It's located right in the downtown area with access to all the great things happening there! The place was very clean and the decor made it feel cozy and homey. There is a security guard on site, and we always felt safe and at ease in the heart of downtown. The other tenants in the building are very friendly and welcoming. Not to mention, the view is fabulous! Jan, the landlord, is very professional, organized and helpful. She was always accessible and quick to respond whenever we had any questions or concerns. The views of downtown Tulsa were spectacular, especially at night. Also had a great view of many fireworks displays during the 4th of July Holiday. Our room was fully furnished with a fully stocked kitchen, and rent included internet and utilities as well. The prices were affordable, and we frequently got free upgrades (switched from a queen bed to a king bed, installed a combo washer/dryer unit, hung new beautiful paintings and artwork on the walls). The community is gated with 24/7 security, and it is kid, family, and dog friendly all around. There is an indoor gym, outdoor tennis/basketball court, track field, and garden park for plenty of exercise opportunities. There is a large coin and card operated laundry room in the basement. There is also a convenience store open 7 days a week to buy simple groceries, drinks, snacks, or fast food. In addition, there are parking garages with designated parking spots for cars. The area is in the middle of downtown within walking distance of many excellent restaurants, bars, shops, and tourist attractions such as the BOK Center, ONEOK Field, and Guthrie Green. It was definitely well worth staying at this condominium complex for months and even years!

The board of directors and officers of Central Park Owner's Association manage the complex but own none of the units. For many years, necessary maintenance was deferred, but the bylaws were amended several years ago, and thanks to the officers, improvements are occurring at a breakneck speed. Negative reviews from residents who are renters often should be a review of individual landlords rather than Central Park.

One of my favorite buildings downtown, known as the "Queen of the Tulsa Skyline" (of course it's…read morefemale). It is listed on the National Record of Historic Places. It was built in 1927 by oilman Waite Phillips (notice the W.P. seals on the elevators) and his wife, Genevieve Elliot. It was designed by Edward Delk, a prize-winning architect who also designed the Philbrook. It is said to have been inspired by gothic revival styles and embellished with Art Deco details. The red and green tile roof stands out as one of its characteristic features. It is 24 stories and was the tallest building when it was completed. During the 1950's, it was home to many commercial enterprises. W. P. donated the building to the Boy Scouts who then sold it in 1977 to a group of Tulsa investors. In 2004, floors 12-20 were made private luxury residences. It was the first ever mixed-use high rise.

My apartment felt like an oasis in a new city, with a view of cherry street and welcoming neighbors. There are conveniences such as a roof top bar and restaurant in the building as well as a cycle bar right below. Any item I needed help the team was quick to action. All in all if you're new in town looking for somewhere to stay and a team to work with the 1515 Lofts team is the one I recommend. I no longer live in Tulsa but if I ever did return for sure the team at 1515 lofts would be my first call.

I loved my little apartment off of cherry street that I leased from Alves, but the management was…read moreso terrible I left after only a year! My friend had a place a couple streets away, and didn't have any problems, but I had way too many serious issues with this company to continue renting from them. First, the silverware drawer in our kitchen broke apart in November. We called the office and maintenance came and picked it up. We didn't get it back until March or April. During this time we called repeatedly, only to be told by Bethany in the office that the drawer was fixed, but the maintenance crew simply needed to drop it off. Then, the front door to the building had a broken lock. It took over a month for them to replace it, resulting in me being locked out on the front porch multiple times after dark. One group of tenants repeatedly threw obnoxious parties - often during the middle of the week - never locking the front door, which allowed random people to come in and out of the building. This resulted in me having TWO packages with valuable items stolen from my mailbox in the entry way. We complained about these tenants multiple times, as did the other three renters in the building, but no action was ever taken against them. The locations of most of their properties are perfect, but unless you're fond of keeping your silverware in a bag on the counter, I'd pass on renting from them.

My husband and I rent an alves apartment on cherry street. It's 1200 sqft, 2 bed, 2 bath, wood floors, some carpet, two fire places. We absolutely love it. We're just a block away from farmers market on Saturday morning and a couple miles from downtown and Guthrie green. Before my husband moved in I lived here with two other roommates. We had a rough start figuring out the mailing system. I had two boxes and some important mail stolen when we first moved in and quickly realized it's better to have important boxes or mail sent to a p.o. box or to our family member to ensure we got them. One improvement alves could make would be to setup a secure mail system for their tenants. As for management, we have been very happy with how quickly alves property responds to problems. We had some water coming in through our bathroom ceiling and alves was over in 15min to take care of it. There have been other small problems like any older building would have but alves is very involved and responds to problems quickly.
