I found Sam's Computer Solutions and noticed it had over 100+ 5 Star Google reviews so I gave the shop a call and described my issue. He had flexible and fast availability and I was able to schedule an appointment to drop off my PC within two hours of making the call (the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend). The gentleman who greeted me was friendly, reassuring, and professional. He clearly outlined what options I had, what the price points for each option was, if and how each option would or would not change functionality, and asked which option I'd prefer! He made sure I was comfortable with the pricing before moving forward. It sounded good so I left my PC and he assumed me it was in good hands. I got a text the following Monday morning (A holiday no less) saying my PC was ready to be picked up. The repair cost was exactly the lowest price he had quoted. I made an appointment to pick it up later that afternoon. Upon arrival he described everything he did to fix it (installation of new component, where he wound the additional length of wire if I wish to change the placement of the part, and let me know he dusted everything which I appreciate). I just got home and plugged in my PC and the hardware he installed worked perfectly! I am extremely satisfied with how Sam's Computer Solutions handled me every step of the way from initial phone call to pickup. Without reading the fine print I gave up my ability to contest charges. I was charged significant service charges before I was ever aware of the charges. When I demanded Ron invoice me before making charges to my credit card , I was told that Cherry Digital Services did not do business like that. I was sold and installed on my computer anti-virus software. After it was installed , I complained my computer had been hijacked by a "virus" . I was told by Ron, no one guarantees anything in this business. My advice is be very careful about using Cherry Digital Pros. They may be techically competent but I think there business policies are terrible. Do your due diligence .
