It's now October and we cannot reach anyone. Drove by the Spokane location which is vacant. Drove to the Deer Park location which looks like could possibly still be in business. There are doors, parts, desks and computers there. We slipped a note on the side of the door which went into the building along with other notes. As of now Crane garage doors has taken our money. We have contacted BBB and next is Deer Park Chamber of Commerce as well as small claims court. Horrible business.

Scheduled apt. and met with contractor (~an hour). Was advised that due to the size/scope of our project, he would need the manager to come out. Scheduled and met for another ~ hour. Was quoted $90k (top tier) and $80k mid. and told they would need to confirm with the manufacturer that they could paint the interior black. Rcd call that they could! Was excited about that, so I called to get a modified quote for windows already measured and estimated (just reduced the immediate scope of the job). Scheduled and met for yet another hour. Was provided a quote...in writing. Received a call later that afternoon from the salesman telling me that the quote was inaccurate and he would need to rework the numbers as he forgot to select the right color for the interior window frame. Estimated the cost to be another $4000-$7000!!!! Advised him that was the same ballpark as the quote from their competitor and that he should figure out how to honor what he quoted me knowing all along the color of the windows (inside and out). The color can't be that much more. Received a text within the hour that they were working with the manufacturer, but it "looks good". Fast forward 30 hrs and "we're sorry, but we just can't do the job and make anything". To their credit, the manager responded to my follow-up message and did his best to explain what happened and that they would loose money at the quote provided. They would do if for cost, if they could, but they were already above our other quote. During my conversation with him, I finally got a final quote which was $16,000 over the written quote his salesman provided during the 3rd visit. At the figures listed, one can imagine that our windows are specialty, I'll give them that. If you have a standard home with standard windows (not over-sized or specialty), may be worth the quote. Otherwise, save yourself the time...

HE and his entire Company deserves a bad review they LIED about how quick they could do windows. THEN informed us after the contract was signed they COULD NOT do windows for a year. Worse of all when you look at the "good" reviews you start to see that employees of the company write reviews for the company itself. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

About 2 years ago I got extremely frustrated with our old fashioned patio sliding door. It was one…read moreof those early models that had wheels on the door that slid into tracts. Those are noted for sliding out of the tracts requiring human intervention. Well, after several years of speaking words not meant for family ears I decided to replace the door. Problem was the entire door and frame needed to be replaced. Kevin Dennehy to the rescue!! Upon selecting the door (with the sun blinds inside the windows) and its arrival, Kevin & crew had the door replaced in less than 2 hours. Wow. Such a relief to be able to go outside knowing that screen door will NEVER pop out of its tracts!! And the heat from the sun is no longer bothersome coming thru the tempered glass either! A win - win!

We hired Jason Griffin of T.C. Contracting to coordinate several areas of our nine year old home…read morethat needed changes. We had a complete kitchen remodel and reconfiguration, with new Shaker-style cabinets, quartz countertops and tile backsplash. All new flooring and molding was installed for our dining room and living room, too, and new carpet was installed in three bedrooms. Our old carpeted entry stairs, which originally had solid half-walls, were replaced with wrought iron, hardwood handrail and treads. This dramatically opened up our dark and outdated entry. T.C. Contracting was able to give us upgraded materials for each of our projects for about the same price that we would have had to pay if we had attempted to do the projects ourselves. We especially like our laminate floors. Jason Griffin directed us to a product that is thicker with a more efficient locking system and a better underlayment than comparable products to be found at Home Depot. The remodel, however, got off to a rough start and took much longer than originally anticipated. There were a few minor errors in measurements, and more than the usual amount of delays, and some miscommunication which often caused us frustration and disappointment. The original estimate of four weeks for the completion of the remodel was optimistic but unrealistic. The entire project took nearly three months and it went over our original budget, but the finished result was well-worth it. One of the delays was caused by the lead carpenter, whose personal problems adversely affected his work, jeopardizing the reputation of T.C. Contracting. After firing the man, Mr. Griffin had to locate a replacement-crew. Two weeks later, the new crew (Marcus, Jake, and Jeff) picked up the slack and were excellent in every way. The men did a professional job with much attention to detail. In the two years that T.C. Contracting has been in business, Jason Griffin has had to occasionally replace those crew members who were not up to his standards. We learned that such employee (John) had a personal vendetta against T.C. Contracting and had written extremely negative reviews in an attempt to ruin Mr. Griffin's business and reputation. When we read what that former-employee had written on Yelp, we were very concerned about the success of our own project, but we decided to give T.C. Contracting a chance. We're glad we did. Our home with its new flooring and the remodeled entry and kitchen is beautiful and of excellent quality. We love every detail of it and we know that with the superior materials that Jason Griffin obtained for us, our home will be enjoyed for years to come.

It hurts to see some of the good folks get taken like this, but others deserved it. You have my personal apologies for what these guys did. He is married to my daughter. She has given him crap about this for the last five years. I almost feel sorry for him.

He set up my wife's car, replaced the spring to make sure we're shored up long term as well. He not only came out same day, but was able to completely replace and get us back to normal the next day. I'm new to Spokane, and havent had much luck with help on weekends and holidays from most trades. Really appreciate the save!
