I just went the other day and seen Nancy because I had her before. The first time its was really hectic I keep getting emergency calls and she kept being interrupted as well with whatever was going on with them. So we both understood eachother and laughed it off. Im all for trying to make things right and not be to judgemental because just like the day I was having, she was too. Life happens! And to make it VERY clear I went that time for a 60 minute through a Groupon so it only cost me $67.50. She was very nice and gave a little extra time because again she got interrupted A LOT and had to keep stopping. I paid for my session and even tipped her $30 because again I understand life happens and we both had seen better days, so I thought. So i went again Now this time I went i paid FULL price plus a 3 dollar card fee for a 90 min session. $108 with the same lady. I wanted 3:30 they askAgain, she had to stop a few times for being interrupted, and again I didn't feel any way about it because maybe they are just busy and by the way this time i wasn't on my phone. The session ended. I was giving her a 20% tip and im not even obligated to do that. But then she looks at me and goes "oh you can tip more bigger, longer time more tip" I look at her for a second went in my wallet an i pulled out some more one dollars. I dont even remember how many because by this time i was already pissed! How do you tell someone what they can and cant "tip" its a tip! After I already paid FULL PRICE AND A FEE FOR THE SERVICE YOU PROVIDE. Im a person that likes quality over quantity. I like to stick and invest in one place and person once im settled. Im a very very loyal customer. And when I can i go above and beyond for that person because I genuinely respect what you do. Sometimes might be more then others but I always got you. I don't like to write reviews because im not that person. However this did not sit right with me at all. Im a mom, i work with the elderly on the daily in their homes and I take care of my siblings my days a long and i barely get me time. I dont want anyone else to feel like I did in that moment when your just trying to relax and escape reality for a little. And the sad part i should have went to the reviews in the beginning everyone is experiencing the same thing an all i see is them saying "im sorry we will look in to that and address it" but obviously still don't. The owner are old enough to know that is wrong to yell at her employees and give them all kind of S* in front of the customers , no apologies was made and made the place tense and looked very uncomfortable and very unprofessional, never go back again. Let me start off by saying this is my first bad review that I've left online for ANY company. I always hesitate to leave bad reviews. If I had a bad experience somewhere, I usually figure others have left enough bad reviews, so I don't bother with it. But this time it's different because of how nasty these people treated us. If the massage was only half bad, I would give them only 1 star, but the massage was decent. We have done couple's massage here 3 times, but never again. There are no shortage of businesses that can do good massages and leave out the poor treatment. We gave them an almost 40% tip the first time, but the 2nd and 3rd times we were very irked at the compulsory and almost mandatory tip. The 2nd time we gave them a 25% tip, after their rude insistence. The 3rd time we refused to pay more than 15% (to make up for exhorbitant tip from before), and she got so furious that she said "next time, we will not do a good job". There will not be a next time with this business. Never. "New management" now? Blatant lie. We had this bad experience AFTER this spa claimed to be under New management and that this is no longer an issue. My wife and I talked about how we have never had any business, in ANY industry demand tips in this dictatorial way, and we have both traveled to many places around the world, including Southeast Asia! So many people are saying the same thing here and on Google reviews. And this place never changes their rude behavior?! They're just asking to go out of business. I would be willing to place bets with a bunch of you other yelpers to see how much longer it will be until they piss off enough Parker and Aurora people to no longer have a pool of customers to keep their rent paid and their lights on. read more

Overpriced and sketchy. I booked on their website, which said a 2 hr hot oil massage by a Licensed Massage Therapist was $120. When I arrived, the lady at the front desk told me to pay (before receiving service) and said it was an extra $10 for deep pressure and another $5 to use a credit card. Red flags- I should have left. I was early, but she took me back right away. I thought they were ready for me early. NOPE- I was left face down on the table for 20 minutes. The lady arrived and started the massage, and almost immediately, the lady from the front desk opened the door and proceeded to have a loud conversation with the lady doing my massage and a man in the hall. 7 minutes into my massage (and their conversation), I was told they were going to get someone else for me. I laid there for about 3 minutes, then a different lady came in, said "Sorry, we're really busy today" (with the one guy in the hall?!), and then re-started my massage. The hot oil massage was mostly done through a sheet- not with hot oil. Terrible technique- she climbed all over me and even sat on my butt while massaging my back. Definitely NOT a licensed massage therapist- not even a good amateur massage. At one point she did this insane move where she yanked one leg at a time straight up- which made my whole back cramp up. I came in due to back pain and did not get any relief at all! The pressure wasn't deep either, despite the up-charge. At the end, she greeted me at the front. I realized they already took my card, and asked if I could tip on the card. She pointed at a sign and informed me that I should tip her $50. I was shocked! I said, "No, a 20% tip would be $26- $50 is way too much!" She then told me that she does not get paid to work there! WHAT?? Is that even legal?? I received a massage from Lucky and it was the best massage I have ever had. You will receive a Chinese style massage, but she really gets into it. I was transformed while I was there. Originally, I only signed up for 60 minutes, but she was so good. I ask her if she had extra time And my surprise she did. I extended my massage to 90 minutes. I was in heaven. I've read a lot of reviews where they say they get after you if you don't tip them and that was not my experience. I did tip her generously, but it was because I wanted to, and she was extremely impressive. You should tip anyway so if you don't tip, obviously, they will not be happy. read more

If you're used to Swedish massage, this is a very different experience. Massage is fast paced with pretty hard pressure- a little too much for my liking. I wouldn't describe it as relaxing but my muscles really got worked. The women are friendly and professional. (There's a little bit of a language barrier.) Fabulous! I made the appointment online (more places should have online scheduling) and got in the same day. Nancy was my masseuse and she did a wonderful job. I had the combination massage so while my feet were soaking, she was massaging face. My hip and shoulder feel so much better now. Thanks Nancy!! I won a gift certificate to come here and booked my appointment. My appointment time was very on time. I was shown to my room to get ready. I noticed that the lady who was helping me had barely no English at all. She either says 'thank you, thank you, beautiful, or says something in Chinese or her native language. Communication was difficult. I didn't know whether to strip completely naked or keep undies on, so I just stripped everything off. I don't really have massaging experiences. Lol She was so quick to return that I was pulling my socks off from under the sheets so I can throw it on my shoes! Lol Wow, you better be quick when it comes to stripping your clothes off! I was under the blanket and she comes in, motions me to turn onto my stomach and place my face into the little face pillow. Because my hair was long and didn't know if I should have tied my hair up or not, I just let it down. She took another towel and draped it over my head. I was feel very warm right now and hoping it doesn't get hot otherwise it would've become a problem. Lol She was very quick and good. Throughout my hot oil hot stone massage, she repositioned my body parts properly, the pressured applied was perfect, and she had no problem exposing my body parts and massaging it. I felt honestly a little too naked! Lol I didn't know if this was normal to be so exposed. I might as well, have worn a blindfold and be naked on the table and imagine that I was somewhere else. Lol Overall, the massage was fantastic and incredibly on time. I really enjoyed the hot oil hot stone massage and am rating it a 4 star. I will have to give a 2 star because I couldn't communicate with my massage therapist. It was a very great experience for the type of massage I got, but I'm not sure if I would come back here again if I can't communicate. I did give her a nice tip though, despite the minimal English. I read all of the previous reviews prior to scheduling my appointment, and went in with set expectations. First of all - I LOVE ONLINE SCHEDULING! I'm a regular Massage Envy member, and while I love that they added online scheduling, they just about never have last minute appointments. Which is totally understandable, but this is why I'm thrilled to have found Relux. I was aching in between my shoulder blades last night, found Relux online, and scheduled my appointment for this afternoon. I scheduled my appointment with Nancy, but ended up with Luna, which turned out to be awesome. The place wasn't easy to find - it's on the third floor of a shopping center within the Regus office space. Now that I know where it is - no big - it'll be easy next time. I sat down in their little office first, and was upsold from the combination massage (90 minutes - $75) to the hot oil massage (90 minutes - $80). I brought cash with me (again, I read the previous reviews) but she did say I could pay with card, but said she prefers cash. It was a bit odd to pay first, but no biggie. Also, afterwards I tipped a little over 20%, contrary to their guidance on their sign that says for great service you should tip $35 (regardless of the service apparently), but no one pressured me or seemed upset about it, as I saw in some of the other reviews. The massage room was just like what you would find at a Massage Envy. Nice table and blankets, relaxing music, some aromatherapy going on. Now for the massage - IT WAS AWESOME! I could see how if someone hadn't had a Chinese or Thai massage before, that their methods could feel a bit unorthodox, but in my opinion that's what makes them amazing. I like a deep massage and am there to get rid of my muscle aches, and Luna did just that. She is a very slender woman, but man, she has some magical muscular hands. While I love very firm pressure, she did ask a few times if it was too much, and if I wanted her to lighten up I had the opportunity. She carefully draped my hair so that it didn't get oily, and used the hot towels to wipe me down after each working each section. I really can't say enough good things about her. I'll definitely be a repeat customer and will be sending my family and friends as well. read more

After paying a 20% tip the manager (or owner) said "you should pay a little bit more, she worked very hard" referring to my massage therapist! Outrageous! The nerve of this woman! Not only was I required to pay $100 UP FRONT, before I even had the massage (and I was also charged $2 just to use my debit card) but then a $20 tip was not sufficient for the manager who didn't even lift a finger. Additionally, this means that if you don't have cash for a tip you will have to run your card a second time for the tip after the massage, which will incur another bogus $2 charge just for using the card. She then pointed to an arbitrary "tip scale" they had posted on the wall that they of course just made up, and which said I should give more than 20%. I explained first of all that commenting on a customer's tip amount is extremely rude, even if you are the owner or even if it is socially acceptable in your culture. Secondly, I said that an arbitrary tip scale which you randomly made up and posted does not determine the amount a customer is required to tip. And finally, I said that a 20% tip on any service is standard, acceptable, and generous. Will never return. As an additional note, this business has a copious amount of complaints about harassment for more tips and they NEVER change their behavior. They simply reply to the review by apologizing and ensuring that "they will investigate and get to the bottom of it and the harassment has continued to take place for over 6 years now. read more
