I was ready for surgery but he told me that he doesn't do surgery for the sake of doing it. If there are less invasive options to try first then we are going to go that route. Did I love that, absolutely not but he was right. I did later end up getting my subtalar joint fused which he told me was coming but expressed I was very active and younger at the time I wanted it and it wouldn't have worked for as long as it has. I was born with a club foot so we knew that wasn't the last surgery I would need and will need more in the future. He is not a dr that wants to see you in pain but he is not the Dr that will just jump into surgery because you think that's the best option. He did incredible on my fusion and I ONLY trust him for all my future surgeries. If your looking for a Dr to tell you how it is and give you options then this is your guy, If you think you are the Dr and know it all and demand one thing and want a Dr to jump head first into the opportunity for surgery he's not it! I have been seeing him for over 10 years and have NEVER encountered a negative experience.

He walked in the exam room did a few clinical exams and stated it's not your hip, it's your back. Go to physical therapy and if it's not better here is the spine guys card. Two of the physical therapists he recommended said not your back, it's your hip. Does he not read their progress notes? Three more months of unnecessary pain and a trip to the Mayo Clinic to be told, yep, not your back it's a chronically inflamed bursa of the hip. Not everyone can go to the Mayo Clinic and if Dr Thomas Eickmann was a decent clinician we would have treated in Denver. We have seen other providers at this office and had very positive outcomes.

I started coming in after I injured my knee hiking and was completely overwhelmed by the constant pain and the limitations that it was causing in my life. Chelsey worked with me for over 4 months on my recovery and was incredible every step of the way. Chelsey is a master in her field, providing a combination of professional care, great conversations and a positive go forward attitude that helped make a very stressful experience so much more manageable. Chelsey taught me a great deal about functional exercises and I'm now incorporating many of the PT exercises she taught in my weekly workout regimes. I owe it to Chelsey that I'm able to go to the gym, hike, bike, ski and do all the things I used to again.

Sydni Samsom truly heard my concerns and made each session effective and helpful. Sydni has a great sense of the patient's concerns and progress and does it all with a great sense of humor. Thank you to everyone at Altitude PT Wheat Ridge.

I was going there for about a year and let me tell you what, they cannot keep a single person on their payroll for more than a handful of months! in the timeframe that I went there which was about 11 months, I worked with six or seven different physical therapists who all had a different plan for me, which was pulled out of God knows where. There was one therapist that I worked with for two or three months that I really enjoyed working with, but just like everyone else, they were gone within a few months from the day I started to the day I was done, which was less than a year, there was only one single person that was still working there the entire time and I'm including the front desk! If you are injured and are going there for rehabilitation, I would probably give it a three out of five, but in my experiences, I give it a zero out of five with a do not recommend attached to it

This success story deserves the highest accolades to one extraordinary young lady, Kiersten Prater,…read moremy Therapist at Select Physical Therapy. I wanted to express my gratitude for Select Physical Therapy and specifically for the work Kiersten and I accomplished. I started with so much stress in my upper back and shoulders that my body was "locked in place," plus I have complex stress syndrome and Trauma where the trauma resonated in my upper back, shoulders, and rhomboids and traps. At one point, I wasn't able to lift my arms above my head; I wasn't able to turn my neck; I couldn't do yoga; I had no mobility; after I saw Kiersten, I progressed beyond my wildest dreams. I never thought I could have a normal upper back, shoulders, and neck, and movement, now I am back to 100%! Kiersten took a holistic approach to the patient, she was knowledgeable, understanding, confident, relaxed, and genuinely concerned about me and helping me to get back to life! She made it where it was not overwhelming to fix me, even when I went twice a week for 8-9 months, it was a beautiful healing experience. Kiersten reminds me of a doctor. She's so knowledgeable in every area and every muscle in the body. I was also having migraines and headaches from the stress, and she showed me where to relieve the pressure! Now I can relax my "head," release my stress and I have healed my back, and my body has allowed me to rest and heal because of Kiersten's dedication. I also had to have special care because of overwhelming circumstances, and Kiersten and Mace have been so patient and lovingly helpful. Mace is always efficient and there to help you in a pinch and she does a great job managing the front desk while working one on one with all the customers. Keirsten developed a compendium of exercises to stretch and strengthen each muscle we healed, I printed it out and I have a recipe for future success! I certainly love Select Physical Therapy, and they've changed my life, and I am forever grateful.
