Quick update, the address is now: 1630 Carr St., A-3, Lakewood, Colorado 80214…read more Okay, Mimi Pullen is the owner and proprieter of Better Health and she is simply amazing. She performs accupuncture and prescribes (proper word choice?) Chinese herbal medicines to her clients. She is like a second mom to me, she knows all of my ups and downs, and every meeting she takes time to let me open up to her and just tell her everything that is going on. I find that to be the most helpful, when I can let her know whatever is going on, she may or may not be able to "treat" me for everything, but she always has a gracious insight that I take can take away from it feeling more positive. She is great, I love it here, and I am so glad she is in my life and making me feel better all of the time!

Christine was an amazing advocate and information resource during our pregnancy and childbirth…read more She seriously knows everything there is to know about this stuff, holistically and otherwise! She patiently answered all of our questions and really helped educate us about the childbirth process. Even though I ended up being induced and was always planning on getting the epidural, she was there every step of the way and so supportive. It was so great to have an RN by my side during the delivery who didn't work for the hospital, as she could independently confirm what the staff were telling me, for example when I suddenly needed to take medication for high blood pressure. You honestly never know what is going to happen during labor, and having Christine there really put me (and especially my husband) at ease. Not only that, she took tons of pictures so we could just enjoy our first moments with our baby, and I will cherish those pictures forever! I would recommend Christine as a Doula 1000%, whether you are planning on having an all-natural birth or a traditional hospital delivery!

Setting up the phone appointment, she wants to know what kind of therapy you want (huh? You're the "doctor"...), insurance, and employer. Nary any sort of compassion empathy or asking how you are doing today, or what is bringing you in? Are you in crisis? She immediately informed me she was $150/hr and didn't "do" insurance and wanted to refer me to a colleague. Sounded like she doesn't like or trust patients much. (I declined to make an appointment and found a nice person who actually asked how she could help ME! Imagine!!!)
