Exceptional Service from John and the Entire Glass America Team…read more I cannot say enough wonderful things about John and his team at Glass America. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. This is actually the second time we've had the pleasure of working with John and his team over the past few years. As any Jeep owner knows... it's a Jeep thing--they seem to have a magnetic attraction to rocks and pebbles! This time around, John, Geneva (his outstanding office manager), and Alfredo went above and beyond to make what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. We had an extremely demanding schedule, and they somehow found the exact OEM windshield I needed for my Jeep Wrangler while coordinating everything to fit perfectly within our limited availability. John took the time to personally walk us through the entire process, answered every question with patience, and even coordinated directly with our State Farm agent, Mike, whom we've worked with for decades. That level of customer service and communication is rare today. A special thank you to Alfredo, whose professionalism was truly outstanding. He communicated before arriving, provided a live tracker so we knew exactly when he would arrive (a huge benefit with Los Angeles traffic), showed up exactly as promised, and completed the installation with incredible precision and craftsmanship. We've now had the Jeep back for several days, and the workmanship is flawless. If I didn't know the windshield had been replaced, I would honestly believe it was the original factory installation. The fit, finish, and attention to detail are absolutely first-class. What impressed us most was the team's professionalism, efficiency, communication, and genuine commitment to taking care of their customers. They transformed what is normally an inconvenience into an outstanding customer experience. Hopefully, you'll never need a windshield replacement. But if you do, don't hesitate--call John and the team at Glass America. You won't find a more competent, professional, or customer-focused group anywhere. Thank you, John, Geneva, Alfredo, and the entire Glass America team for another outstanding experience. You've earned customers for life.

Summary: Technician came unprepared without the correct…read morepart, then company stopped responding when I requested they fix installation issues. Full Story: My driver's side power window got stuck down. Their technician arrived but didn't have a fully compatible motor (his replacement lacked auto-up/down functionality). I also noticed while the technician rooted around for a compatible motor that all of their motors appeared to be used. When the technician manually powered my old motor (bypassing the switch), it wouldn't raise, confirming replacement was necessary. Since I wanted a fully compatible motor and was worried about the durability of a used one, I drove to O'Reilly (with my door panel off) and purchased a new original equipment motor while the technician waited. He installed it, but immediately the window malfunctioned: it would drop halfway after reaching the top and wasn't responding properly to the switch. The technician tried troubleshooting but concluded it was an electrical issue beyond his expertise/scope and left. I researched and replaced the window switch myself, which fixed the responsiveness issue. However, I then discovered two new problems: a loud clicking/hiccup when lowering the window halfway (see attached video, turn audio on), and the anti-pinch safety feature not working (in hindsight, likely due to the technician directly powering the motor to diagnose why it wasn't responding to the switch and messing up its calibration). I contacted Gilbert to request a return visit or discount. He initially refused warranty coverage since I'd supplied the motor, though I pointed out I only did so because they arrived without the correct part and offered to send him video of the problems, which he was not interested in. Eventually he agreed to send a technician and charge me for the labor if it wasn't their fault. I accepted but after having to follow up multiple times to get responses regarding the details and set a time, I gave up. Ultimately, I fixed it myself: a clip securing the motor's wire harness was broken (likely during installation, though the plastic was old and brittle) causing it to hang into the window's path. In the technician's defense, if my window switch had been working, he probably would have noticed and fixed this himself. Still, the broken clip appears to have resulted from the installation judging from scratches on the previously untouched inner door panel.
