If you have bed bugs I highly, highly recommend Reliant Pest Control. In my opinion 5 stars is not enough. So, this review is way overdue and i feel crappy for taking too long to finally post a review. Also, my sincere apologies for the long review. But I would hate to see someone else go through this type of issue and feel helpless the way I felt, before I came across Reliant Pest Control. I had a relative living with me, who allowed a friend from school sleep over during a long holiday weekend. A few weeks later we learned the person's home was infested. Well, guess what happened after the sleepover?! Yup. I pride myself on researching everything from price, to customer service, type of chemicals used, chemical effects etc. I called a long list of Exterminators and all of them seemed like hustlers. I understand there is a cost for this but I would rather move than pay the ridiculous estimates I had been receiving. I did not need anyone to bring bed bug sniffing dogs or heat my home to a thousand degrees, using a heater machine extended from a truck outside all the way up to my window? And it should not cost $5,000 to exterminate bed bugs for 1 apartment and then another $2000 for the second visit. Nearly everyone I called either tried to hustle me for money or they tried to use extreme scare tactics, in order to convince me to hire them. I was beginning to think all Exterminators are hustlers. Respectfully, don't bother sprinkling the white powdery pest poison/weed killer chemical from home depot. I've tried it. It does not work. So there. But then I finally came across Bill on Thumbtack.com and trust me, he will be the first one I will call if I ever need an Exterminator again. His service is top notch! He will walk/talk you through the service before he provides it. He also answered all of my numerous questions with no problem. He returns calls and texts in a timely manner. Bill takes his craft very seriously and is patient and polite. He knows any and everything about bugs. You can tell he must have been one of those kids who was fascinated by creepy crawly things back in the day, lol. Bill also shows compassion for kids in this situation and went above and beyond to make sure my kid's room received the royal treatment. As for the rest of my home; let's just say he left no stone un-turned. Not sure why my carpet looked completely steam cleaned brand new when I arrived home? My point is not only did he eradicate those disgusting bugs and their eggs (the bugs never returned) but he actually vacuumed, swept etc. very thoroughly after the job was finished. He understands confidentiality too, since his truck outside did not have a picture of a huge bed bug painted across it. I even contacted him days after he finished the final service and he continued to make himself available to speak with me. I cannot say enough about Reliant Pest Management's owner Bill Godfrey and his Quincy service. He went above and beyond in dealing with my brother. My brother is 74 yrs. old, barely ambulatory and "you're a mean one Mr. Grinch" describes him. my brother is cantankerous, has a short fuse and a low frustration tolerance level. Bill was patient, kind, understanding and worked with my brother to accomplish what needed to be done so that Bill could conduct the pest management at his home for bed bugs. Bill returned phone calls and texts immediately, answered all questions and performed in a professional manner. He responded promptly, kindly and respectfully to our call for help; found the bed bugs (eek!) that two other pest control companies couldn't locate; gave us clear directions on the preparation protocol; and arranged a treatment schedule that got the job done, affordably and with a six-month guarantee! I called Bill for a bed bug issue - He was able to come the next day to do an inspection. I showed him a few samples of bugs I had found. The first was a carpet beetle and the second was an actual bed bug. He was honest (ex: identifying the carpet beetle), thorough and very patient with me as I had a bunch of questions in my panicked bed bug bitten state. Above that, he even allowed me to email him with any other follow-up questions. He also carefully moved my fish tank out of my bedroom so that he would be safe during the extermination. I called Reliant Pest Management because we had what we found out were bald-faced hornets nest stuck to the overhang of our home. Bill Godfrey was, in a word, awesome! He responded immediately when we called and arrived at our house in about 30 minutes. He did an amazing job! Not sure why I am so deadly afraid of mice and rats but I am. I live in an area where these rodents like to roam and in an old house which offers easy access. I use Reliant because Bill is trustworthy, caring, and thorough in his work. He doesn't hesitate to answer a frantic call or email and offers help immediately. I called reliant pest co because I was panicked about bed bugs. He was so nice and drove 40 minutes out if the way to inspect my mothers house. He spent a full hour inspecting beds and couches. Lucky for me there was no evidence of bed bug but he spent lots of time inspecting and explaining how they work and what to look for. Took a great deal of time at no charge to explain and inspect. So nice and helpful. We will certainly call Bill if we encounter any more pest problems!! read more

Actually I would give Billy a +10. we had kitchen bugs in our building. not only was he cheaper than the other companies hired by the rest of the owners in the building but I never seen a bug since he sprayed, all the other owners in the building still have bugs. What I really liked was that he used non toxic ingredients ( making me feel safer as it was the kitchen that got sprayed) I will definitely hire again.
