I had a family emergency while in Charlottesville without my car and had to get back to Philadelphia ASAP. The next train wasn't for 7 hours! I called CT & T and within 15 minutes Richard was at my hotel in a clean and spacious SUV. He got me to Union Station in DC where I caught an AMTRAK train that got me to Philly before I would have left Charlottesville otherwise. Everything turned out to be fine in the end but when things were in question Richard provided a safe, reassuring and speedy ride. This company is top notch!!!

We hired Dennis on 4/25/15 for a Charlottesville wine tour. We started our tour at 12 noon and finished up around 5-5:30pm. We visited four wineries; Pippin Hill, Pollack, Veritas and King Family. There were three women total. We fit comfortably in his town car. The seats were very comfortable and the ride was smooth. The car was extremely clean and smelt very fresh. He provided us with complimentary bottled waters during the tour and was always prompt. Everytime I called he answered all my questions and concerns. He also returned my calls and replied to my voice message in a very timely matter. He was very flexible and allowed us to choose the wineries we wanted to visit. We had a change in plans and had to change our route around and he had no objections. This company is very reasonably price and most of the other drivers in Charlottesville don't reply back very quickly and are hard to get in touch with. I also highly recommend staying at the Hyatt Place (2100 Bond Street) hotel near The Stonefield shopping center. It's one of the newest, cleanest, and modern hotels in Charlottesville as of today. They book fast so don't wait! This hotel is also located right across the street from the brand new shopping center which is literally in walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, movie theater, nail salon, spa, yoga and other shops! It's perfect because you don't have to drive anywhere :)

I…read moreordered a cab from the owner, Mr. Mario, without realizing that my check-in date was actually set to tomorrow afternoon. This man is a blessing in disguise as Mr. Mario kindly and generously offered me his hospitality to crash at his home office (which is very clean and homely with a functioning bathroom and shower by the way) for the time being. Upon picking me up he had also noticed the other weary souls waiting for an evening cab and extended his assistance to them after dropping me off; he even got snacks and water for me upon returning and was cordial, upbeat and friendly throughout the entire ordeal. Compensation was treated as an after-thought as well which I can only respect and appreciate the modesty. I admit I don't really experience much of Charlottesville and her non-University denizens as an insulated out-of-state student, and so I can't thank Mr. Mario enough for having treated me so profoundly with his benevolent and thoughtful hospitality and assistance. Out of all of my dealings with businesses I'd have to say that this is definitely my most meaningful one. A resolute recommendation from me.

Told him where I was and he told me 30 minutes to pick me up. I had a tight schedule to get to the airport. He wanted me to Venmo the $375 I did Then he actually put in the address He told me it'd be an hour and a half. Which would make me late for my flight. He had me Venmo money all in advance. I told him I needed my refund since he couldn't make it. It as he was so far away. only me back through Venmo $291.03. And he a full even though there's no way he could've to the airport on time. He kept almost $85 as his inconvenience fee. Use caution perhaps you have a better result. I withdraw my complaint as it was a miscommunication and Mario taxi service has given me the refund.

I went to the office, left a deposit, and gave all the details to the lady in person. On the day of the event, they showed up with a party bus instead of the limo we booked. When I called to ask what happened, the lady was very rude and claimed she never confirmed a limo and that they "don't rent limos for Quinceañeras." This made no sense because my family has used this company for years. I had a party bus for my own Quinceañera, and just three years ago they rented us a limo for my cousin's Quinceañera with no problem. Instead of fixing their mistake, they said they had nothing available, refused to take any responsibility, didn't offer a refund, and didn't even try to resolve the situation. It was unprofessional, stressful, and completely unacceptable for such an important event. I will not be using this company again and I do not recommend them.

Yellow cab is pretty hit or miss in cville, and after using them for about a year this is the…read morefeedback/comments I have about their service. Tip 1 - if you're scheduling an ASAP ride, call the dispatch and ask them to give you an estimate of how long the wait time is at the moment. This is the MOST accurate info I get from them, the automated computer and the online estimate are just that - estimates. They're probably generated from some computer code and most of the time they're pretty close but the ONE day you need it to be right ofc will be the day it's WAY off. Call the operator instead. Tip 2 - talk to the drivers! I've ridden with 15+ drivers and pretty much all of them have been wonderful. I've had way friendlier drivers with yellow cab than Uber. Tip 3 - lower your expectations. At this point, their biggest competition is probably Uber who is just doing a better job. I've had late yellow cabs, wrong time estimates and honestly? Cabs that look like they're going to fall apart. But it will get you from point a to point b if that's all you're looking for. Overall, I'll be honest - if you have the option, I would recommend taking an Uber. Yellow cab could be a real contender if they had nicer vehicles and more accurate time reporting. Their drivers are super nicer but Uber is just more reliable.
