I have never written a review on yelp before, but these guys deserve the Kudos. Yesterday morning , I went to take the dog out before work. The door knob of our new place felt unlocked from the inside- but as I quickly learned was actually leaving me outside our brand new house without keys, wallet, or phone and my dog on a leash. After finding a neighbor who was home , I called reliable locksmith. Mike arrived in 25 minutes, to me in a panic and had the door open in two seconds. As he was already there, I asked about the pricing to change the locks and door knobs (as we had just moved in). Mike changed the knobs, lock, and deadbolt on the front door, knob on the garage door, fixed the brackets for both doors, and then picked and rekeyed the lock on the door in back faster than you can say done. Everything uses one key now, and I was given 4 copies. It was fast and professional. Mike was fantastic and I would certainly call reliable locksmith again and recommend them to others. read more

We hired these guys to fix a lock on a commercial door at a business. It's a less than 8x10 inche area on the door where the lock is and they charged us $560 for 2 parts and $225 in labor. I don't believe that an area this small can have parts in it that cost $560. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, the first guy that came tinkered around over an hour and couldn't fix it so another guy showed up and fixed it in less than an hour and that's what we paid $225 in labor for? So, almost $800 to fix a broken lock. I believe they took advantage of a situation in which the business owner who made the call for the service was not on site and when the job was done there were just 2 female employees presented with the invoice for immediate payment. The invoice they gave us was very vague. A call was made to them a few days later asking for an itemized description of the service and they never sent it to us. We will NEVER use them again. Beware: especially if you are a business. read more

Great experience! I actually missed their first call since I walked away from my phone, but they still came back and even waited while I dropped off a kid to an activity. Mike opened my lock set, was afraid a major part might need to be replaced, then worked through tightening a few things and it worked perfectly! $150 charge for the whole thing, and he could have told me anything was wrong but he was honest and up front. I would absolutely call them again. read more

VERY professional and they know what they are doing. I had a lock replaced at my business 7 months ago on a Sunday so I paid dearly for that. It then starting acting up on me so I called Reliable. They informed me that I did NOT need a new lock, just a repair. I wish I would have called them the first time around. They also outfitted 2 of my vehicles with extra keys. They are a family owned business, speak English and I felt they are honest. read more
