I've been working with my service advisor Bill Mullen since 2012, and I honestly wouldn't trust my vehicle with anyone else. Over the years, he has consistently provided exceptional service, honest recommendations, and a level of care that's hard to find these days. My vehicle is paid for and I continue to bring it to the dealership where I purchased it for quality care service. Bill takes the time to explain what's going on with my vehicle in a way that's clear and never overwhelming, and I've always felt confident that I'm getting the best advice--not just what's convenient. His professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are unmatched. It's rare to find someone you can truly rely on for something as important as your vehicle, but he has earned my trust time and time again. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely committed to great service, he's the one you want. Highly recommended! Gidget read more

Reliable Chevrolet should seriously consider changing their name to Unreliable Chevrolet. This was easily one of the most unprofessional dealership experiences I've had. We were specifically interested in a black Chevrolet Trax. Initially, Devon told me the vehicle was unavailable because it was being used as a loaner. Then Mark contacted me and suddenly the vehicle was available again. Mark specifically told me they would pull the keys so the vehicle would not be sold and that it would be returned and available for us at our scheduled appointment the following day. This was not some vague conversation or misunderstanding. I confirmed the appointment by text, and Mark then called me again to confirm by phone that I received the appointment information. We made the trip to Reliable specifically because of those assurances. We arrived for our appointment and were told the Trax had been sold that morning. So what happened to pulling the keys and making sure it wouldn't be sold? To be clear, the vehicle being sold is not even what upset me the most. Cars sell. Mistakes happen. If we had simply been told, "We can't guarantee the vehicle will still be here," then I would have understood the risk before making the trip. What bothered me most was the complete lack of accountability afterward. Not once did anyone simply acknowledge that we had driven there because of the assurances their employee gave us and offer a sincere apology for wasting our time. A simple, "We screwed up. You were told the car would be held, and we're sorry," would have gone a long way. Instead, we were shuffled through alternatives. We were told about another loaner at a sister location. Then they pulled around a Trailblazer with a roughly $30,000 sticker price, despite the Trax we came there to purchase being in an entirely different price range. Eventually, we were told they could get another Trax around the same advertised price by Monday, except it would have approximately $1,999 in additional dealer charges. After everything that had already happened, I explained that I didn't feel they were doing nearly enough to make the situation right or earn our business back. Ray's response? "Well, maybe we're not the dealership for you." That response was unbelievable. We didn't ask Reliable to hold a vehicle and then fail to show up. Reliable told us they were pulling the keys. Reliable confirmed our appointment by text. Mark called again to confirm by phone. We showed up when we said we would. Yet after Reliable failed to follow through on what we were explicitly told, apparently expecting an apology or meaningful attempt to make things right meant we weren't the customers for them. Mistakes happen at every business. What separates a professional business is how it responds when it makes one. A sincere apology and genuine attempt to make this right could have completely changed my opinion of the dealership. Instead, we got no meaningful apology, were offered alternatives that didn't make sense for us, were presented with another Trax carrying roughly $1,999 in additional charges, and ultimately were told, "Maybe we're not the dealership for you." Ray, you're right. Reliable Chevrolet is definitely not the dealership for us. We'll happily spend our money somewhere else. read more

Over the last 20+ years, we have had a few interesting interactions with Reliable Chevrolet in Richardson. After having a horrible experience trying to buy my very first car in my 20s, I have never been a fan. Fast forward to June 2026, we are in the market for a preowned Subaru Forester for my niece for her college commute. Keywords provided: new driver, college student, first car, and BUDGET. Focus was on a reliable and sensible purchase. Reliable Chevrolet had a 2018 Forester Touring with 104,138 miles listed for $13874. In order to see the details online, I had to enter my contact information. Before we could even get there the next morning for a test drive, I had received 3 voicemails and 2 text messages from their team. We visited for a test drive on 6/29 with Max. The test drive went well without any immediate red flags. Again, my niece is a new driver and nervous with new passengers. Max was extremely patient, which we greatly appreciated. We did let Max know that the car would be in our niece's name, but we would be purchasing it for her. A cash offer. He returns with a quote for $20,440.98! A no go. We said they needed to get it under $15K OTD. We reiterated that we were not interested in any service plans (almost $4000 included in the quote). At this point, we were still being patient. We told Max that we have already located a Forester with our preferred dealership. However, our niece wanted to check out a few others before we finalized the purchase. This is all new to her and a LEARNING experience. Given it too is an 8-year-old Forester, with over 100k miles, it is not likely to be in high demand either. Max returned from the office a second time with a $16K offer. We again said no and proceeded to leave. His manager, Mario came over. We immediately didn't like Mario's aura...aggressive like he was owed the deal and how dare we question him. We reiterated what was already given to Max, and after more stalling, we left. Sidenote: What the team either didn't consider or forgot, we originally viewed the car online, so we had a "Get Today's Price" offer of $17,254.84. A $3,186.14 difference from their original price sheet, FOR WHAT?! This price included an optional $1,995 Reliable Value package, so without the package the price out the door should have started at $15,259.84. During the interim, I received another email from Hewad on the internet sales team. I let him know we had already come and gone from the dealership. We explained that we were annoyed by Mario, and irritated by the attempt to upsell on a car for a new driving college student. Hewad then inquired and was told get the purchase under $15K and we could talk. From 1:15 pm-8:15 pm on Monday, we exchanged messages. Hewad inquired if $14,900 would close the deal. We let him know that $14,900 was better, but $14,650 would close the deal and top the other dealership's option. Again, we were aware that given the year/mileage/trim of the vehicle this out the door/no frill price was well within reason. Hewad responded "Absolutely!! What time can we expect you tomorrow?". We responded with a request that he confirm that he received management approval for $14,650, once that was confirmed we would return to finalize. By 10:30 am on Tuesday, we had not received confirmation. We emailed Hewad again. He indicated that he needed 30 minutes to SEND the confirmation. When we still had not heard from him by 3:00pm, we emailed to give a 4:00 pm deadline. At 3:11 pm, Hewad emailed that he "thought" he had responded...ok sure?!? He proceeded to say that his manager said he may be able to do $15,500 OTD. What in the actual?!? We said no thanks and ended the emails. We then received a text from Hewad asking what if he could do $15K. I reiterated our final number that he had been given a DAY prior. Hewad indicated that they appreciated the offer but would PASS. At which point, I thanked him and moved on. Shortly thereafter, my niece texted that she had received several calls from them as well as a VIDEO text message from Max inquiring if there was anything he could do to help. As it was the end of the month, and they were motivated. Again, what in the actual?!? We were well aware from the moment we started our search it was the end of the month and end of the quarter, that this was the best time for negotiations for motivated dealers. We were not pressed for time nor were we between a rock/hard place. We had and still have the time to get our baby what she wants...within reason . Reliable Chevrolet remains a waste of time. We recommend steering clear when at all possible...if that isn't an option proceed with caution. Good luck! read more

Very poor customer service. I scheduled an oil change appointment, but when I arrived, I was told it would still be a 3-4 hour wait and that appointments don't really guarantee a time. Completely defeats the purpose. The staff was also unhelpful and unwilling to assist with validating my free oil change. Overall a frustrating experience--won't be coming back. read more

Steer clear of this place, could not believe the lies I heard. I told the salesman that I was coming from out of state to check out a truck. I drove 8 hours round trip. The truck looked good, they offered a fair price, and I was very interested but due to the distance and not having my trade in vehicle with me, I was unable to buy same day. While I waited for the approval from my bank for the loan, they tried and tried to push their financing on me saying they would match it. Kept trying to get me to buy same day. At the end of the conversation I was told there were 4 other showings and tons of interest on the truck. So I shook his hand and said if it's here next week we can make a deal. On Monday morning, I received a text asking if I was still interested and up to this point I was. I let him know that as soon as I had my bank's approval, I would be ready to buy. I was again pushed more to use their in house financing. "We can get you a comparable rate"  I reiterated I was okay and felt more comfortable using my bank. Finally after trying to haggle my trade (which definitely had some more value then what they were offering) I was told "We are unable to accept out of state financing! If you'd like to proceed with this truck, we will need to secure your financing" They have known I have been planning on using my own financing the entire time. I texted my loan agent regarding the situation and he let me know this has never been an issue before. Buyers beware, if you do not use their in house financing, you will be denied. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. The managers were rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. They barely knew anything about the car or whether it had even been inspected. We spoke with at least five people, and every interaction was unpleasant, including doors being slammed in our presence. I would never give this dealership my money and definitely would not recommend it to anyone. They need to seriously improve their customer service. read more

The service department is horrible. I had a nail in my tire, so I made an appointment. after 2 hours I start complaining and they finally got a tech on it. 2 weeks later I have a window busted out so I go in. the glass is quoted at $300 + labor. $1000.00 later I have a window. plus a $35 charge to pay by card. Overpriced and inefficient. do business elsewhere. read more

Worst service experience I've had--completely unprofessional. I scheduled a tire rotation online through the Buick/GM application and arrived on time, only to be told that my reservation could not be found. After standing there for several minutes, I was then asked to complete paperwork "since it was my first time," despite the appointment being scheduled in advance. While I was waiting, another customer came in with a battery concern, and the service advisor was extremely short and dismissive, essentially implying that if the car was turning on, the battery must be fine. That interaction alone was a red flag. When it was finally my turn, they refused to honor my warranty and attempted to charge me for a tire rotation that should have been covered. The service provider assisting me was curt, disengaged, and showed no interest in customer service or problem-solving. I immediately left and went to Discount Tire, where they valued my business, treated me with respect, and rotated my tires without charging me a dime. Unfortunately, the outdated stereotype of women being taken advantage of in auto service settings felt very real here in 2025. For context, my mother worked for General Motors--I am knowledgeable about vehicles and warranties, and I know when something isn't right. I will not return to Reliable Chevrolet, and I would not recommend this service department to anyone looking for professionalism, transparency, or basic courtesy. read more

*Classic Bait-and-Switch Operation* I messaged Robert the night before, the morning of, and again while we were on our way to confirm that the vehicles we were interested in were available. Since our drive was over an hour, I wanted to be sure we weren't making the trip for nothing. Each time, I was assured the vehicles were "available and ready." When we arrived, neither vehicle was actually available. They didn't even have a single vehicle of the same model, despite advertising multiple ones online. After collecting all of our personal information so we could take a test drive, the manager came over and informed us that the vehicle we came to see wasn't there. Instead, he tried to steer us toward other vehicles, all of which were more expensive than the ones we had specifically asked about. Don't waste your time with this dealership. They were not honest about their inventory and completely wasted our time. read more

I first visited Reliable to look at an advertised used car. When I arrived, the salesman showed me the vehicle, which had a busted rear bumper held together with tape. A split along the corner was obvious on closer inspection. They refused to repair it, which was fine. They offered to show us other used vehicles, and we agreed--with one simple condition: only certain manufacturers. At that point, the salesman disappeared and we were handed off to the sales manager--the guy you get when the salesman can't complete the "How are you paying? How much money do you have?" script before even helping you find a car. He introduced himself as "the we don't understand what your looking for guy instead of let us show you what have asked for. Remember our one condition we specifically ask for? Apparently, he didn't. He printed the entire used-car inventory--about 25+ pages with roughly 25 vehicles per page--and proceeded to go through it line by line very slowly and insulting us, asking about manufacturers we specifically said we weren't interested in. We made it to about page two before we were done. Clown show! Needless to say we made an abrupt exit from this complete waste of time after expressing his lack of service. Learn what service is. The sales manager is completely a useless clown. Apparently he thought we were stupid to car sales tactics. Fortunately, he met his match on this day. Don't ever underestimate a customer knowledge on cars and their discernment on the car manager manipulation tactics. Reliable Chevrolet should be called unreliable Chevrolet. They don't know what it means to offer Class A service to their customers. Boy y'all are a piece of work! read more

Great dealership and I have really enjoyed my salesman that I have used repeatedly for 4 vehicles in the past 10 or so years. They also are willing to work with those who have credit rebuilding issues. My problem with them is that the in house finance team cost me too much money on this most recent deal and I was really upset about it. I should have walked away from the deal - but I didn't, Great dealership with super selection and great sales team - watch out for those slippery finance folk! read more

Very disappointing service experience. The purchase experience was fine, but service, not so much. First thing I noticed was after rotating the tires they did not change the air pressure as per the vehicle spec (35 front 39 rear). No big deal. Yesterday, quite a while after the service, I just happened to open my hood to look at my battery, and found the oil cap just sitting there above the front grill. Have been driving around like this for week. When I take a nearly 6 figure vehicle in for service at the dealership I purchased it from, I expect better. read more

Watch out for sales ADD ON after their listed sales price. SCAMMER. ADD things you didn't ask for, want or need. Typical Texas dealership.

I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at Reliable, and at this point I seriously question both the quality of the service and how my vehicle and personal belongings was treated while it was there. Reliable performed my 30,000-mile service on my 2023 Colorado. After I brought the truck home from that appointment, I began noticing a leak, and shortly after that the transmission started slipping. Because of those new problems, which only began after the 30,000-mile service, I brought the truck back to Reliable to have the leak and transmission issue repaired. When I picked my truck up on Thursday, February 12, 2026, I discovered that my Puerto Rican boxing gloves, a family heirloom hanging from my rearview mirror, had been damaged. Before service, the gloves had no scrapes, all of the "Puerto Rico" lettering was fully intact, and they were hanging securely as I had placed them. Afterward, some of the lettering was scraped off, there were visible scuffs on the gloves, and the way they were attached to the rearview mirror had been altered. There was absolutely no reason for anyone to touch my personal belongings at all, especially something with deep sentimental and cultural meaning. I immediately contacted my sales rep, Michael Davis, and was told that a manager would reach out to me. I still have not received any communication from anyone at Reliable as of February 24, 2026 about this issue! The timeline of events is extremely troubling. I brought my truck in for service, new problems appeared immediately afterward, and when I returned to have those issues fixed, my personal property ended up damaged. After raising concerns that the leak may have been caused during the 30,000-mile service, this damage now feels retaliatory! On top of that, the specific damage to the "Puerto Rico" lettering makes this feel racially driven, or at the very least deeply disrespectful and culturally insensitive. Between the mechanical issues, the damage to my belongings, and the complete lack of follow-up or accountability, I am left with serious doubts about the professionalism and integrity of this dealership. I trusted Reliable with my truck, and instead I have been left frustrated, ignored, and questioning what really happened while my vehicle was in their care. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Reliable to anyone! read more

Extremely disappointed. Attempted to purchase a new 2025 Silverado ZR2. Long term customer of this dealership, purchased a corvette in 2024. On this purchase, the finance resource, Nico Anwary, operated with very deceptive practices. Sold a trash 3rd party extended warranty as a GM Bumper to Bumper warranty, with GM pricing! Delayed providing paperwork until I arrived to pickup the vehicle next day, I had to request the documents, and he continued to be less than truthful. Can you imaging a "liar" yelling at a repeat customer in a professional place of business? It actually occurred! The sales team and leadership offered no help, other than not knowing what the finance people do in the "back". An apology and removal of the trash "MPP" warranty from the contract would have gone a long way. Again, very disappointing, and awaiting for my payment to be returned, which looks to take several weeks, per the dealership. read more

I purchased my vehicle from this Chevy dealership, and everything seemed fine until the car hit exactly 100,000 miles. From that point on, I repeatedly received alerts saying the engine needed to be checked. Shortly after, my car stopped turning on, wouldn't accelerate, and left me stranded. I was told it would be a 3-day repair, which turned into over TWO WEEKS of them keeping my car. When I finally got it back, the issue was supposedly fixed. Less than six months later, the exact same engine warning and problem returned. This is not just frustrating--it's unacceptable. What's even more concerning is that after researching recent reviews, I see a clear pattern: * Cars kept for long periods of time * Vehicles returned dirty, muddy, or mishandled * Customers paying $1,000+ only to receive their cars back with the same unresolved issues * A dramatic drop in ratings (this location went from about 4-5 stars years ago to around 2 stars now) That alone speaks volumes. I trusted this dealership with a major purchase, and instead I'm left dealing with recurring engine issues, wasted time, and a car that feels unreliable. I now fully understand why the ratings have dropped so badly. I would not recommend buying a vehicle here or trusting them with major repairs. Please do your research and be cautious before spending your hard-earned money. read more

I would not recommend doing business with this dealership. I came in already pre-approved through my bank, and once they found that out, the entire experience changed. A manager came out and loudly made comments that my bank "thinks they're crooks and won't work with them," which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Despite knowing I was pre-approved, they repeatedly tried to push me into their own financing instead of working with my bank. I even made the mistake of returning weeks later when the same car was still listed as available, and once again my pre-approval was disregarded. They were not willing to negotiate and told me there was "a lot of interest on the car," even though it was still available. Additionally, when I received the pricing sheet, the numbers did not make sense--accessories and fees were unusually high and inconsistent. It was clear how shady the deal was, and anyone considering this dealership should carefully review all numbers to ensure they are accurate. I followed up by email to management to explain what happened and never received a response. Overall, the lack of professionalism, respect, and transparency was disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership. read more

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at this dealership. I purchased a Corvette C8 3LT from GM. The car has always been garaged, but after a couple of years I noticed large bubbles forming across the entire dashboard. After researching online, I learned this is a very common issue with the 3LT interior. I contacted the dealer to ask if there was a recall. They acknowledged the issue but said there was no recall and that I would have to pay for the repair myself. I brought the car in and they replaced the dashboard. When I got the car home, I immediately noticed a major difference between the driver-side and passenger-side dashboard materials. The driver side looked the same as before, but the passenger side was clearly a different material--more like hard plastic typically found in a 1LT, not the leather used in a 3LT. I returned to the dealership the very next day. The service advisor acknowledged the material difference and told me they had mistakenly installed the wrong part. He said the correct dashboard was in the shop and asked me to return in a few days after a new airbag was ordered. When I called back, I was told to bring the car in and that the issue would be fixed. After dropping the car off, I received a call a couple of hours later saying the dashboard they installed previously was "the correct one" and that nothing further would be done. I went in and spoke with both the service representative and the manager, but they refused to take any responsibility. The only explanation they offered was that "GM may have changed the dashboard material due to complaints." When I asked why only the passenger side would be changed and not the driver side, they had no answer and became very rude, essentially trying to push me out. I contacted GM multiple times, but they simply repeated what the dealer said. I even asked if another GM dealer could inspect the car, and GM refused. To make matters worse, the dealership damaged my front bumper lip. When I requested reimbursement, they agreed to pay only for the part--not the labor. This dealership showed zero accountability and no business ethics. I strongly recommend staying away from Reliable Chevrolet. read more
