Wasn't fond of the tone on the voice-mail message. I left a message after the 2nd try. I understand you're busy servicing clients, so I wouldn't expect a call back that day or the next few days... but 6 days later and still no return call. It's been weeks now and still nothing... In full disclosure, I purchased a Groupon for my first service, with the thinking that if I wasn't enjoying it, then I could get up and leave, without shelling out full price for my first ever massage. I mentioned the Groupon in the voice message.. She came highly recommended based on her skills, but I never got to experience that. 7 days later, Groupon refunded my money. With my anxiety, it already took a lot to CALL to try to book. Was it me? Idk? But Thanks, now I'm even more nervous about getting my first massage. Hopefully I find a professional place that is more caring and responsive!

Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Let's just start this off by saying that I am NOT, in any way, "massage guy". I actively dislike…read morepeople touching me and am super dicey about my personal space. So when my wife first mentioned a couples massage at this place, I was...apprehensive, to say the least. :| So having never actually had an actual massage, I have no point of reference here as far as judging how "good" it was, I can only go by how good it seemed, and it seemed really good! The place is basically like a converted house and is super cozy, that helped a lot initially as I kind of felt relaxed in the space right out of the gate. We were greeted by the 2 masseuses (masseurs? No idea honestly but they were both chicks), and walked upstairs into the couples room. The room itself was SUPER chill, like dimly lit, trippy music playing, essential oils misting, etc. etc. Really wild. The thing I didn't notice initially was that when we first walked in, it felt too warm...maybe? But once things got moving, it was actually perfect. They instructed us to disrobe as much as we were "comfortable", which for me was not disrobing at all. I was actively told by my wife that was NOT, in fact, an option. They also offered to let us use the bathroom across the hall if need be. Pro Tip here: When they offer, if there is ANY part of you that thinks you might even need to use it just a LITTLE, you should do that. Let's just leave it at that. About 5 minutes later they came back in and got started. So they basically like work your back, arms, legs, etc. Then flip you over and do like the front of your legs, arms, head neck etc. It seemed very structured and planned out in a certain way, which I appreciated. Again, having nothing to compare it to, I can only say how it was for me. And for me, it was freaking amazing. The best money I've ever spent on any kind of like "luxury thing". Felt like a completely new man afterward and have been back twice since. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names of the people that worked on us, but at this point, I'm pretty sure that no matter who you get, you'll be happy. Also, I elected to pass on the feet and glutes option cuz no way that's ever happening, but my wife did not and highly recommends that you do not either!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the place was clean and cozy. Lisa really worked very hard on me , tho I was looking for more of a relaxing massage I have to say I really got my moneys worth. If you are looking for a therapeutic , healing massage this is your place . I mean Lisa took no short cuts she gave it 110 percent the whole 2 hrs. Tho I did not come out ready to fall asleep I did come out with all of the knots in my back loosened up and all of my muscle pain alleviated. I highly recommend July Spa!

The woman massaging me started to slap my limbs and my body in an effort to "massage" me. Then without warning or consent she massaged me with a hot stone which was just hot and painful. My partner didn't experience any of that luckily but she said it was overall not a good massage. I don't think they are actually qualified as I was getting friction burns with the way she was massaging me. I had to tell her to put more oil. The whole place is shady, I can't really describe it. I'm pretty sure the reviews here are fake so if you're thinking about coming here for a massage, don't! Unless you want to come out worse than you were before.

I had an excellent visit yesterday to Tia at Elite. I've been working long hours, lots of time in…read morethe car, haven't been exercising as much as I like, and my back was really knotty, cranky and sore. Needed a strong, thorough massage. I let her know all this, and after an intake interview and the appropriate forms for a first visit, she went to work. It was evident to me, and she confirmed when I asked, that she not only is a massage therapist, she is a weightlifter. So she is very strong and was able to really dig in to the many problem areas in my back. At the same time, though, she has an excellent feel in her hands, so she was able to sense what my muscles needed, and no more. She also took direction well if I needed her to ease up in a sore area or to push harder than she had expected she needed to. Excellent massage, as I told her after, the best one I've ever had that didn't involve hot stones. And the equal of an amazing hot stones massage I had 11 years ago. In addition to being a superb, professional and attentive massage therapist, Tia is courteous and friendly. Lots of good cheer. And her facility is organized, well appointed, comfortable, warm and welcoming. The building she's located in, on the second floor, is somewhat rough on the exterior, But I encourage potential customers not to be put off by that. The massage you get, the person who gives it to you, plus the studio, are gold. She's a block and a half from the big court houses near the Capitol. I would say it's a great place for a break from work during the day. I visited after work and was happy I did. All that, and her fee was more than reasonable. Highly recommend.
