Being new to cupping, I had no idea what to expect and, wow, it was better than I anticipated. Amanda took her time to talk with me when I arrived to get to know me and explain the cupping process. She spent the beginning of the appointment doing a deep tissue massage, focusing on my areas of tension. This included some stretching, which felt amazing. She was very knowledgeable, commenting on reasons for tension/knots in certain areas and even knowing from massaging my neck that I clench my teeth! At the end of the massage came the cupping. Amanda used stationary cups (the traditional ones that stay in place with suction) as well as cups that she moved around, describing it as almost a "reverse massage." This was a "hurts but feels good" situation for me. I really enjoyed it, and felt like the tension in my neck and shoulders was finally relieved. Amanda suggested an epsom salt bath and rest as cupping is intended to detox the body. I took her suggestions and felt so relaxed. The cupping did leave marks but they went away in about a week. I would absolutely go back for a massage and cupping!

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!…read more I paid $700 in October 2024 to this company, Elite Massage for a massage package but I never received the massages due to a medical situation outside of my control and they refuse to refund my money. Elite massage are rude crooks and they don't care at all about their clients. I have several unexpected complications following my surgery and I am now in and out of the hospital. I kindly reached out to them and explained my situation and asked for a refund but they said NO. Even though I never received the massages and didn't even have a chance to make an appointment for the massages, they said NO. I went into the hospital a few days after I paid them $700 and I have been in and out of the hospital since then. I can't afford to lose $700, I'm a single mom of 4 children and I loss my job due to my now ongoing medical issues and my medical bills are mounting each day. I don't wish this situation on anyone! I reached out to them again a couple of weeks ago but they didn't respond at all. I asked if we could come to some sort of agreement but they are not responding to me at all. First, when I book an hour massage and include 2 add ons (dry brush and foot scrub), I don't expect them to be bundled within my one hour massage. It should be an hour massage plus the add-ons. My girlfriend was fine with hers (except for reason above), but 2 issues with mine. First, Kaitlyn did ask me if I wanted any area to have special attention and I said my scalp. Just before the massage ended, I think she may have massaged my scalp for a minute. Second thing: my entire massage was with me face down. My girlfriend was asked to roll over, but I remained face down the entire hour. I have never had an hour massage when only one side was treated. Despite that, I gave them each a $20 tip for their time, but neither of us are inclined to return. And if you are thinking they must have been busy that day, no. There was no one in the waiting area when we arrived and one person walked in when we were leaving. I emailed the owner to share this (not requesting a refund but as a head's up) and never heard back.

Due to heavy rush-hour traffic, I was running late but was still actively on my way to the appointment. Shortly after the appointment time, I received a call informing me that the appointment would not proceed. The following morning, I spoke with a staff member identified as Lynn regarding the situation. During that conversation, I was told the practice had a "zero tolerance" policy for VA patients regarding missed appointments due to us being "non-paying customers", despite the fact that I had been traveling to the appointment and had not intended to miss it. What concerned me most was being referred to in a manner that suggesting I was a "non-paying customer" because my treatment was being provided through VA Community Care. I found that comment disrespectful and unprofessional. I used to attend these appointments back when they first started accepting VA patients and had an excellent massage therapist named Merlyn and always tipped her very well. Not to mention the fact that the VA does pay for these services. I understand that businesses have scheduling policies, but patients--especially veterans receiving authorized medical care--should be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.
