Not only she's taking care of my waxing also takes care of my hair; it's been three months since she did my brazilian blowout and my hair still looks silky and with no frizz at all. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT do business with this merchant. They are extremely rude and unprofessional. I called to schedule an appointment and asked how long the service would take so that I could plan accordingly, and this so called business owner refuses to answer my question. Instead she demands that I simply show up to my appointment and has her husband jump on the line to tell me that his wife does not have to answer my question and will no longer be providing me with any services. Umm... first off, your wife didn't have the nerve to tell me herself? Instead she has to send a male to verbally abuse and attack a female?! What kind of business is this??? Secondly, you have to deny services all because I asked a simple question? Then the husband mentions that they will not be refunding my money because they are closing down for business next week. GOOD, they should be instantly closed down because this is no way to run a business or treat customers. Clearly, they don't know anything about customer service satisfaction. if I had read these reviews I would have been warned that she did the exact same thing to me. I've been waxing for 20 years I don't need any extra work but she insisted that I pay extra for hair on my bikini line that it wasn't included in the Brazilian price, I told her that's fine just do what's included in the Brazilian price. However she said no actually you won't be happy so I'm not doing anything. I said I'm sorry? You're not doing what I paid for? She said I don't want you to be unhappy and give me a bad review, so I'm not doing anything...which made no sense basically she was trying to force me to pay full price instead of what was offered on the Groupon. And would rather get this bad review than to simply do what I paid for! the woman is greedy and her husband is also rude! I was there early and he drives his car up to me and says my wife is waiting for you! When I had been there a half hour early waiting for HER! I bought a Brazilian wax on Groupon with Maha. The service was fine but I should have read reviews first. I was told that because I had a lot of hair I would have to pay $15 more. I haven't had a wax in two months but I have been getting waxed/ sugared for literally five years so my hair grows back really fine and it really wasn't a lot, it takes a bit of time for my body hair to grow because I've done laser, electrolysis, and waxing. I've been told by every person that's ever waxed / sugared me that my hair comes out easily and that it's very fine hair so I kind of knew this wasn't true but I went ahead an agreed to pay the extra 15 in addition to what I paid on Groupon. This rubbed me the wrong way, I always tip but with the 15 extra I did not because it's just dishonest and by that point I was already there with my pants off so I just said okay. Feeling pretty torn on how to write this review because it was an odd experience for sure. I found this business on Groupon and bought a brazilian wax. Maha is sweet. She was accommodating of my same-day appointment and when I needed to change the time. I think she stayed late just to fit me in which was very considerate. She's also extremely easy to talk to. The wax was quick and done well. She was very careful with the wax temperature. She even followed it with cooling, antiseptic cream. Where it got weird was that: - I'm Indian so she charged me an extra $10 for thicker hair. I've been getting waxed for almost seven years and no one has ever charged me more. I could've said no and left, I guess, but it's awkward when you're already undressed and she's about to get started. So I felt like I had no choice but to agree. - She stands over your shoulder and makes you write a review right in front of her which leaves you feeling forced to write something nice and positive right then and there. - When I handed her a $20 to pay for that extra charge, she didn't offer to give me any change. I had to ask for it which led to an awkward experience where she made me feel like I had to tip $10 even though I didn't want to tip that much given this random charge that wasn't disclosed in the fine print of the Groupon or before she had actually gotten started. - She complains about other customers to you which I find very unprofessional. Maha is very dominating lady, she literally forced me to write reviews on groupon right there at her salon while redeeming the coupon. She doesn't says the complete details over the call. When my service was about to start and i undressed, then she says you have thick hair(though i had hardly any hair), being an Indian obviously i would have thick hair, then she charged extra $20 for legs, another extra $20 for hands, and then $ $20 more for brazillian. On top of everything, she did the service hastily and horrible. Hair were left out at so many spots, Also she doesn't care for customer's comfort zone because number of times i mentioned that wax was way too hot it was literally burning my skin but she kept working without cooling it down because her next customers were waiting, i was stuck in the situation because one leg was waxed, so i had to get it completed. Maha is a very nice lady, however, she does try to upcharge you on every service that would normally be included in a Brazilian wax. I bought the Brazilian wax Groupon, and like the other reviews, it was $17, but when you come in, she looks at you and says you have more hair than normal and says it will cost an extra $10. I've been through 7 laser hair removal treatments for the bikini area, and always wax so it is definitely not true that I have more hair. Then she charges an extra $5 if you want to use a card. Just beware if you buy a Groupon, she will likely find someway to make you pay an extra $10-$20, and she's strong minded, so there is no backing out of paying extra. read more

I came here for Brazilian waxing after finding this shop on Groupon. The deal was really good! Advertised as $17 for a $75 deal, which is what this store normally charges for a Brazilian wax. I called the store and spoke with whoever was in charge of the waxing and told her I saw the deal on Groupon and I wanted to know what her availability was before purchasing the offer. She was available for the time and day I wanted to see her, but she suggested that I just pay her the $17 in person rather than buying it through Groupon. That is where I made a mistake. I don't think I need to explain what a Brazilian wax is, but when I showed up for my appointment, the lady led me to the room and got started. In the middle of her waxing my bikini area, she asks me how much was the deal on Groupon. I told her $17. She then tells me that because it's the Groupon deal, she will only be able to wax my bikini area... Ummm... then that's not a Brazilian wax, that's a bikini wax. She said that if I wanted her to wax everything else, she would have to charge extra. Not once was that mentioned prior to her waxing me and neither was it mentioned in the description of the Groupon. I asked her how much more would it be if she waxed everything else. She said it would cost $10 more depending on how much hair I had. I asked her how come it wasn't mentioned in the Groupon or how come she didn't tell me before she started? Now I've just wasted my time coming to her when I could've gone to someone else who actually knew what a Brazilian wax was. She said it is what it is. So whatever, I let her continue. I'm not going to make a huge deal out of this since I'm clearly in a "vulnerable" position mid wax. When she was done, I asked her how much. She tells me $35. Wait wtf? How did it go from $27 to $35? Alarmed by my reaction, she tells me "fine, i'll make it $30" $30?!! can you not math?! I'm totally fine with giving you the 3 extra bucks if you would agree that the price was $27 and $3 would be for tip, but tip isn't even up to you! I tried to reason with this woman. I showed her the Groupon and explained that this was supposed to be for a Brazilian wax and even defined to her what a Brazilian wax was. I asked her, as I pointed to her menu with prices, what the "$75 Brazilian Wax" was then. She said that that is a full Brazilian wax, but for this Groupon deal, it'd be different. THEN WHY WASNT THAT MENTIONED IN THE GROUPON DESCRIPTION? IF YOUR $75 BRAZILIAN WAX MEANS AN ACTUAL BRAZILIAN WAX, SHOULDN'T YOUR GROUPON FOR ~75% OFF ($17 FOR $75) FOR BRAZILIAN WAX BE THE SAME? Her response to this was, "Well what do you want me to do about it?" UMMM NOT LIE? Oh and let me know if you actually do charge a convenience fee of $5 for using card, cause that's the only reason why I paid cash. Aside from this, the lady did a pretty good job. Maybe cause she knew she was gonna upcharge me. Who knows. I guess for future reference, I will ask what a full Brazilian Wax will entail before booking an appointment. Is that really necessary?
