Go to one of the *many* other foot spas in the area. The service was fine, nothing special. I've been to better spas for the same price which had way more privacy and quietness. The staff was extremely unprofessional, rude, and made my mom and I both feel very uncomfortable. We paid and tipped 20% to both women that massaged us. The women first complained to us directly and then had the manager tell us we needed to tip more. Again, we tipped 20%. If there is a tip minimum (one that is above the standard at that), then it should be included with the price. The women proceeded to follow us to our car and scream at us in a different language. read more

Place is ok, massage was fine. Space is a little tight, and there are no rooms, just stalls separated by a curtain. The one thing that turned me off, when offering tip to the misuse, the manager pressed for more (on more than one occasion)... read more

Fair review. I have been going here for years and have always been happy. I do not let the workers massage my back, as I always experienced back pain after when I did. Today, however, when I called to schedule an appointment, I was told that I would need to leave a $10 tip. Apparently, the $6 tip I leave for a $35 massage (15%) is no longer ok. The woman on the phone flat out told me that my tip is not enough (seems they keep track of how much you tip!). I am now being required to tip $10 for a $35 service ... nearly 30%! First of all, I resent being told how much to tip. A tip is a gratuity, not a mandatory fee. Second, I think asking for a 30% tip is insane! There are other establishments in the area. I won't be returning to Relax Foot Spa. read more

Covid safe for sure! The massages here has always been good and this review is overdue. I'm a regular I come monthly but may start coming bi-weekly for the massages ! read more

My daughter and I went for an hour long foot massage and we were very pleased. The pressure and lotions were just right, the people were polite and caring. The music and sound effects were perfect - not too loud but just enough to be relaxing. Everything looked super clean and the people were all wearing masks the entire time. I was so happy that after all that foot massaging, we were asked to turn onto our stomachs and we got great massages from head to toe - literally. I'd recommend this place. To respond to the other comments about the front desk person taking the tips - we gave our cash tips directly to the people who massaged us and didn't have any problems at all. We got a card for a free 60 minute treatment after ten 60 minute treatments so we'll see about coming back. read more

Much more relaxing experience tonight vs. my first time. The space/chairs looked very neat and organized which added to the soothing atmosphere. Towels on the chairs looked especially clean and neat, hope they are - felt so. The environment included dim red light, music with nature sounds, low ticking clocks, and light murmurs. I selected the 60 minute foot treatment and was led to a chair where I put my bag in a bin next to me, got privacy curtains pulled on the sides of me, and got my feet lightly washed. Then I was reclined, a towel-y blanket was draped on my body, and a small towel was placed over my eyes. I believe the gentleman from the front desk was my masseur tonight, and he was skilled with being firm and thorough, yet gentle in the right places. His technique was much better/more refined than my first visit which was I very much appreciated. There is a hot stone and hot towel used to wrap up the foot extended segment. After the relaxing foot massage, I turned over for a (clothed) short and sweet shoulders/back/buttocks/leg massage. I almost fell asleep during the foot massage, however there were some people who arrived mid treatment that kept talking which was slightly distracting. Overall though, I am glad I came back (it was a weeknight) and looking forward to coming again... And maybe giving the longer treatment one more shot to include some neck action. read more

Relax Foot Spa - Storefront on a weeknight.. Looks a bit classier than my first visit. - Massage Therapy Near Me - Hewlett, New York

Came in pre flight to JFK, amazing staff and attentive. Had body massage and it is fully clothed in a sectioned curtained large room with other guests. There is a parking lot in the back. Will return. read more

Love this place! So clean! They take your temperature before getting a massage. They wear masks the whole time. I have been coming here for a few years and each time I've come I leave feeling so relaxed! read more

Just got back from one of the most amazing massages! "Tina" was terrific, and I feel like a NEW woman. This was probably one of the best spa experiences in my life. I do not have anything but praise for them. Plus, the price was super fair for the service. read more

Lovely owner... Fantastic prices... Awesome bodywork. I can wholeheartedly recommend this spa for anyone looking to escape and get a great massage. My husband gets foot work done as well and it greatly reduces the pain in his feet. We will definitely return. read more

Called for an appointment a few hours earlier and was taken in as soon as I got there! Great massage for a great price. People divided by curtains so a little noisy occasionally but overall great, relaxing experience read more

Worst ever! You have been warned. Elbows dug into your neck and the workers are over worked. Everyone is unhappy. I honestly feel that the rude angry front desk lady doesn't pass the tips over to the workers. Once you pay she ignores you and picks up the phone to attend to the next customer. Doesn't offer water or to even schedule you. She doesn't talk or even take a moment to ask how things went. I want my 20$ tip back! She didn't even give it to the people inside. read more

I was so excited to get a back massage and foot massage combo after a long day! Massage was fine. I've had better ans I've had worse. I was prepared for the fact there were curtains ans no real private walls. All that was fine. But I had the oddest checkout experience with a lady named "Ani"! My total was $56. So I took out $11. And while my credit card was processing the check out lady Ani tried to take the cash. I told her I was parked in the back so I would give it to my masseuse directly. She was kind of creeping me out and I didn't want her to skim the tip from my masseuse. All of a sudden she started yelling at me. And I couldn't understand a word she was saying. I kept asking her to repeat herself (pardon me, I'm sorry i don't understand) i think She kept asking me if I had a good experience or no?! I didn't understand, so I said yes I had a fine experience. I think what she was getting at was that I wasn't tipping enough!! So I looked at the receipt and thought "shoot, I've done my math wrong and I'm about to under tip"! But no, $11 on 56$ is 20%. She kept hollering at me and then screaming the masseuses name. The masseuse came up front and politely took my $11 and then the crazy Ani woman toook $5 out of the register and gave it to her telling me I didn't tip enough! So I asked, well what is customary?? I would rather die than be a bad tipper! And she said something about 90 minutes and 20%. I said $11 is 20%! And she ran me out of the place. I felt bad for the oth r people getting massages who must have had their experience interrupted! I would have been sad if the massage was 5 stars. But what the hell is going on in that place??! And why do they have guys who work there sleeping on cots in the basement. I think Ani is trafficking more than tips! I will never go back. That lady is a nightmare read more

Just got a wonderful foot massage by May. I'm glad I discovered this place as in the Hewlett/Woodmere area there is no other foot spa. It was $28 for 60 min and when you reach 10 services the 11th is $10 off. I'm very pleased with my massage and plan to go back. read more

Went here for my first time this week, and thoroughly had a perfect foot massage done by Michael!!! this place is clean, modern, with a modest look. I already made my next appointment read more

Pretty good and thorough foot rub $30 for 60 minutes. The only complaints is the ongoing construction next door and workers who constantly chatter. In between hammer pounds and workers talking are other workers telling them to be quiet. One major point is tipping at the end. They EXPECT a 33% tip or more. Which i believe a 17% should suffice, but the owner will motion you to come back and ASK for more. Probably won't come back. read more

Overall love this place. I never request anyone and have always has good or great experiences. Very affordable compared to other places in area. Make sure to make an appt before going even if it is last minute, otherwise you may waste ur time going. They are busy any time of the day I go. read more

Had a decent massage but the guy at the front desk taking my payment was obnoxious. The massage was $38 and after paying I took out $8 to give to the guy to hand directly to my masseuse. $8 is just about 21% of $38. The man was counting my tip which wasn't for him in front of me and asking me "how much?" And i proceeded to tell him $8. He asks "a little more tip?" And i felt so ashamed and embarrassed that i had undertipped when really i did not! He was so unfair! If he was the man in charge maybe he should pay his employees more instead of embarrassing and haggling customers for another dollar!!! Will never go back! I used to go weekly but never again! read more

This is my second time coming here for a massage . It was great . I somehow got the same lady as the last time , she was great!!! This time she put more pressure and evened out the massage . This place is a lot cheaper than most places in the area . For a full hour it's 38 plus tip (the man at the front desk said 10 dollars is fine) . I will be back very soon! read more

Price is right. I wish there were actual rooms in stead of one large room with sheets as partitions but it was easy to forget that once they got to work. read more

Come here frequently and really enjoy the service. For what you pay,its a great value. Only thing is the quality of the massage it self is very inconsistent. Good place. Cheap. Maybe lacking in a little privacy since tables are separated by cloths. But I like it. Not sure I would go here too many times as I prefer a more luxurious massage but def not bad for a quick visit once in a while. Been here a total of 3 times with different masseuses and overall positive experience! read more

I came here with my fiancé, and I would say this is the 5th time we have been here. To begin with, the massage was good, and we both had similar experiences compared to the other times we came here, which was great. The problem that I have is with after the massage. The lady who was at the register, who I am pretty sure is the owner, takes my card for the payment, and when I hand over my cash tip (which was over 15%), she raises her hands up in the air demanding that I tip more. In disbelief, I tell her that a customer can tip however much they want, and that they do not have a minimum tip stated anywhere in their business. She mutters under her breath, and then does the same thing to my fiancé. What was even more outrageous is that my fiancé's masseuse asks her for a larger tip when she was given over 15%.. The funny part is that they have raised their prices from $38 for a 60 minute massage to $45, which is not a big deal. However to yell at, and disrespect your customers over tips is something they should be embarrassed about. Needless to say we will not be coming here and giving them our business any longer. I am not sure who they think they are, but they should clean up their act before they lose more clients. They already lost 2!! read more

I gave this place a second chance after my first visit a few weeks ago. The massage was great, but again I was haggled for a higher tip. I find that extremely inappropriate. 60 mins is $36. I gave $45 and that still wasn't enough. Greedy. I was told "next time you pay more"... I don't know if there will be a next time. read more

Really good foot massage! Recommended by this former local!

I don't usually leave ratings but they were great. Better than the pricey manhattan massage place. Wife loved it too. Will be back.

This was my first, but absolutely not my last, time at Relax Foot Spa. If you just need a quick recommendation, here it is: THIS PLACE IS GREAT AND YOU SHOULD GO. For anyone who wants a little more detail: the salon is clean, comfortably heated, and the staff are extremely friendly. The foot massage chairs are comfy and they separate all the chairs or massage tables with curtains for a bit of privacy, which isn't always the case at these foot spas. I had the 60 min foot and 30 min back massage. I think I know what heaven must feel like now, because I lived there for 90 minutes this afternoon. The woman who provided my massage was excellent--I've been to fancy salons and hotels offering massage, but this massage was far superior to anything else I've had, and for which I paid much more. For both the foot and back massage, the 'hot stones' treatment was included. At many spas you pay extra for this service. So relaxing! Afterward, they give you a little bottle of water, which I thought was cute. If I had to balance my review with anything negative, I would say that it's important to note that there's a 'no talking' policy in the spa, not everyone is considerate, and if you're planning to chat with your friends or talk on the phone while getting your massage, this might not be the place for you. Some people came in while they were finishing up my massage, and this couple was blabbering in normal speaking voices for over 15 minutes--even after the staff gently shushed them. I will say I appreciated that the staff attempted to deal with the rude talkers. The only other thing to know is that parking isn't fantastic in this area of Hewlett--they have 2 dedicated spots in the back and street parking if available. I'd advise that you allot a little extra time to find a place to park. I am very excited to have found Relax Foot Spa and look forward to becoming a regular customer! read more

It's an affordable and great experience despite the close quarters. If you come Monday, Wednesday and Friday you can park on the street 7a-7p for an hour. read more

Loveeeee this place! I go once a month for a foot massage and it's amazing. So quiet and relaxing

Today was my first visit, a very nice warm welcome greeted me as I entered the spa. I was then escorted to the relaxation room where I sat in a reclined spacious soft chair a great vibe was in the air relaxing my nerves as I took it all in. Then I was given a bottle of water nice n cool it was very refreshing on this hot day. They then placed my feet in a bath of warm water and the next thing I was doing was moaning from the pure pleasure of her hands massaging my feet, toes, ankles, legs, knees I was screaming more more more (only kidding) pure heaven I experienced. I didn't want to leave, the final touch which I did not expect was a back massage neck head and face awesome. Completely rejuvenated I felt. I highly recommend this spa don't go anywhere else- I'll be back for the full treat next time and I'll keep you posted Philip read more

I decided to try this place because I was in the neighborhood and let me tell you, I didn't regret it. I called and the guy that answered the phone said I could come in without an appointment. Within 5 minutes after calling I arrived at the location and I was greeted very warmly by the gentleman at the front desk. Location is neat and clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. I opted to have the 1 hour foot works and the 1 hour body works. I was escorted to the back to a large room with a row of large reclined reflexology chairs. Each individual service station is separated by privacy curtains. The room was dimly lit with a reddish glow. Piano music played in the background at a satisfactory volume. The room smelled wonderful, a soothing floral aroma. I was assigned a station and then introduced to my masseuse David. I did the reflexology session (foot works) first and then the body massage. Both services where done by David. Omg, I have had many massages and reflexology sessions and this is by far the best I have ever had. He was thorough and on several occasions he inquired if the pressure he was using was acceptable. I was in heaven, he was hitting all the right spots. It was obvious that he was knowledgeable, experienced and knew his pressure points. I don't think there is an area on my body that was not included in the session. From my scalp, my ear to the tip of my toes. I left Relax Foot Spa feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Total for this service $64 plus a $25 tip for David for a job well done. I was given a complimentary bottle of water. I will most definitely be returning here to utilize their services. read more

I don't think I have EVER left a review of a location or a service. I've been here a few times, and now I will not go back. This place is no-frills, which is quite fine. It's one big room with a bunch of beds separated by curtains. The prices are good, but that's where it ends. Every single time I go, I tip 20% or more, and the woman in the front gives me an attitude. The massages are sub-par, if even that. Then today, the guy was fixing a door the entire hour I was there. Banging with a hammer, opening and slamming, walking back and forth and speaking loudly. Again, the whole place is just one big room. When I left, I told the lady in the front (that gives me the tip attitude) that when they need to fix something they really should wait until there are no customers. She said "we're busy today." I explained that it's supposed to be a quiet and relaxing experience, she said "we have to fix the door." So I told her she should fix it at the end of the day, she said "we close and I want to go home, no we fix now." And then she yelled at me about my 23% tip. This place is just awful, I need to find a new place, and I'm happy to pay a premium just to never go back! read more
