Archie spends a lot of time talking to me about the way my body seems to have adapted to an office job in a very negative way. He talks to me about what I can do in between sessions and he addresses what I now believe is the actual root cause of issues in my body That are in different places then where the symptoms show themselves. A concrete example is that I have a cervical spine injury which can cause rather debilitating pain in my arms and neck. After addressing the symptoms (neck) Archie has spent a lot of time on what he thinks is the real issue which is my extremely tight hip flexor (root cause). He explains the different types of muscles in there and what he is actually working on. Every time that I have a flareup and I go to Archie I find that the next day is a step up improvement in my quality of life. This is generally a different experience when compared to traditional physical therapy. I wholeheartedly recommend Archie.

Nothing brought lasting relief, and the pain was excruciating. Three weeks ago, my Naturopath recommended Dr. Ryan Lee, calling him a "miracle worker." That turned out to be an understatement. After my very first appointment, I experienced complete relief from the pain I had been living with for half a year. I've since had two follow-up treatments, and two weeks later, I remain pain free. Dr. Ryan is the kind of practitioner who genuinely cares about his patients and their recovery. He doesn't push unnecessary visits, and he is honest, compassionate, and truly dedicated to healing. Most of all, he gave me my life back. He is, without question, my miracle worker.

Power couple for functional health!…read more I didn't believe in magicians before Adam. Just kidding, but his knowledge, experience, and critical thinking case-to-case could fool you that he is one. I walked in with back pain at a 8/10 where I couldn't squat, bend over, or sit up and left at a 2/10 with residual inflammation to let heal over time to get me back to normal. He used acupuncture, fire cupping, and massage to heal my issue. Meanwhile, we retrospectively recalled the trigger points that caused this issue, so that I could learn from the experience and avoid this pain again. Amazing at what he does and a joy to be with in the process. Caitlin is so knowledgeable and a forever learner. A passionate and personable professional is what separates her a part from other functional medicine practitioners. This means she will always strive to find new information and answers, rather than relying on antiquated information. You want these qualities to steer your health and care! Her calming energy and listening skills will make you feel heard! Gut health, hormone health, Chinese medicine, she's your girl!

As a Southeast Asian, I'm very familiar with traditional healing modalities like gua sha and…read morecupping - techniques commonly used by my elders long before they became modern wellness trends. My 90-minute body massage and cupping therapy at San Diego's Sanctuary of Art and Healing with Dr. Jordan Delagrange reflected that traditional, therapeutic approach rather than a decorative or spa-oriented one. The techniques were applied in a targeted and methodical way, consistent with their original clinical purpose. This experience differs significantly from a typical massage or spa service. The focus is not on relaxation or pampering, but on addressing muscular tension, circulation issues, and areas of stagnation. While most of the session was painless, certain areas were intense where tension was present, which felt appropriate given the treatment goals. This is structured, results-driven bodywork rooted in traditional healing practices. Highly recommended for those seeking therapeutic massage, cupping therapy, or gua sha in San Diego rather than a standard spa experience.
