The gentleman did not seem in the best of moods and after going halfway up the ladder and looking at my roof, he complained that the roof was too steep for him, and he was not going to do the job... Apparently he had injured himself on a previous work site. He verbally quoted me what it would cost to repair, put his ladder in the truck and left. If I were to say they were here for a total of five minutes that would be generous. This was the first roofer I've ever met who didn't want to go on the roof of a one story home. Oh well, this was my experience with Dunn Roofing. If you use them, I hope your experience is better.

I made sure that it shows that I paid it in full. I did not want them to put a lien on my house heh I called and made sure that it says I paid my bill in full. They were on top of it. The work crew cleaned up after themselves. If you have any issues, you can call their office and they make things right. The new roof is holding up well. Last year I had an issue the roof at my other house. There were a few small leaks. One person came out and told me that it is an easy fix. I highly recommend.

If you cannot be dependable for appointments, you certainly cannot be dependable to get a job done right. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Mr. Augusto could not commit to a specific time to meet that day. We stayed in touch with him throughout the day and finally heard he'd be on his way at 3pm. When we initially contacted him he requested $100 to do the estimate. He explained that the fee was required as we did not yet own the property although we did have an agreement of sale. When he arrived, he became annoyed at my husband because the home inspector's report was difficult to for my husband to pull up on his phone. It was 68 pages long. My husband tried to point out that the entire roof needed to be replaced based on our inspection report. Mr. Augusto never went up on the roof to look at it. When we inquired him about hurricane mitigation straps he blurted out - The price of the roof is $20,000 and includes everything. He never offered to mail us a detailed written estimate even though he took $100 in payment for coming. He accused my husband of being disrespectful because they tried to converse at the same time. He yelled at my husband "look me in the eye and show some respect man!" We have done renovations on our stone colonial in PA for 18 years and never have we had such an interaction with any contractor. We were stunned to say the least!!! This review speaks for itself as to why we gave a 1 rating.

The initial consultation and final measurement with Eric, was very professional and Eric went over everything that had to be done. Eric is not a salesman, he has been in this profession for years, and is the owner. It was refreshing to have someone who actually knows what the job entails and not just a salesman was refreshing. The price of the materials and installation was very competitive. The doors and windows came in earlier than expected and installation was scheduled. Chris, Mike, Aaron, Dave and Walt were here for about 5 1/2 hours. They all were experienced, professional and completed a some what difficult project. My house was built in the late 50's so everything is not standard-sizing, etc., they did have to work through several issues. Everything passed inspection. There are some scratches, marks in the glass of the kitchen window and glass panel on the back door. Oscar came and noted everything and the glass panels are in the works to be replaced. This is nothing that the company damaged, just defaults in the glass. The consultation to final measurement to installation to setting up the inspection were all stress free. I could not say one bad thing about this company. I would highly recommend this company to friends, family and neighbors.
