Seems to be doing a good job on roofs in my community Drew the supervisor very responsive hope they keep up the good work

One of the very few commercial roofers who will work on slate roofs and other special situations. Did a fantastic job addressing leaks in & around the steeple on our church building. Their skilled & conscientious team delivered excellent results. read more

This company is excellent. Acoma came and reroofed our home and did an excellent job with excellent communication, cleanliness and service. We interacted with several members from the team from our lead roofer, foreman, repairers, and office staff and they were all wonderful. read more

I've lived in the Tampa Bay area for approximately 40 years, and in the same house for 35 of those years. That being said, I replaced my tile roof once in all that time, and my flat roof twice. Dealing with contractors in Florida can leave a person somewhat overwhelmed, because many contractors doing business in Florida, lack integrity and fail to produce quality workmanship in a timely fashion, as opposed to contractors from the northern part of the country. Recently I contracted with Acoma Roofing based out of Oldsmar, Florida to replace my flat roof, and I wanted to go on record to state that the entire process, from start to finish was an absolute joy. I interviewed 10 roofers in the Tampa Bay area and decided to move forward with the project using Acoma Roofing based on the fact that the sales representative was knowledgeable with respect to his product. He was polite and answered all my questions. Acoma Roofing was also very competitive with respect to their estimate. But the most important reasons why I would recommend Acoma Roofing are for the following reasons: 1.) The work was performed in a timely manner with a high degree of workmanship. 2.) There were no deviations from the terms outlined in the agreement. 3.) The crew were on time, polite, neat in appearance, and very skilled at what they were doing. 4.) The crew were very respectful of my property and continually cleaned up after themselves with respect to the work area. 5.) Acoma roofing provided me with a 10 year warranty on all materials and labor. Very few if any roofers offered a 10 year warranty on labor. I highly recommend that you call Acoma Roofing and get a free estimate on your roofing needs. When the time comes for me to replace my tile roof, I will be using Acoma Roofing with no hesitation. This company surpassed my expectations with respect to delivering high quality workmanship, in a timely manner, all for an excellent price. I'm posting an addition to the above review on Acoma Roofing. The flat roof was replaced on July 14th, 2023, and much to my surprise, on July 24, 2023, Acoma Roofing stopped by my property (unannounced) to inspect the flat room for any signs of water retention. (On July 23, 2023 we had a heavy rain in my area) I'm happy to report that the flat roof was bone dry. In all the years that I have been contracting with various roofing companies, not one of them has ever returned to the jobsite on their own accord to inspect the workmanship. I had to call Acoma Roofing after the crew left, and seriously ask "who are you people". I have never encountered a company in Florida with such intense pride in their workmanship. Hats off to Acoma Roofing. read more

Well, they got the roof on. That's about where the pleasantries end. Some background, our HOA hired this company to re-roof our townhouse buildings - 20 buildings, 114 units. I did not choose this company, but as a property owner my HOA payments helped pay them - which I am certain must have been a half million dollar contract. I was really impressed with their speed at first. They powered through 10 buildings in a matter of days. Then they got to my building. Piles of materials and trash laid around the building for A WEEK. A full week of them puttering on our roof in half-day intervals. Nails littered the yard and sidewalks, and they were not cleaning up between working day to day. I have dogs and worried for their safety stepping on these loose nails. Their crew had 10 generators on site, but they were still pulling drop cords into my porch and plugging in to my power. (My electric bill is paid by me, not the HOA.) I called and spoke with 'one of the owners' who assured me he would instruct them to discontinue this. The next day, they were plugged up on my porch again. I ultimately had to shut off breakers to my porch to keep them from stealing power from me. And of course, my daughter's tire got a nail. The crew was kind enough to come to her and pump up her tire so she could drive to the shop. But that was it. I was never provided a location to email photos or an invoice for reimbursement for the repair. These crews make a huge mess, they don't clean up said mess in a timely manner, and they don't fix what they damage. Not to mention the fact that they are stealing electricity, too? Not a fan. Not a fan at all. read more

Acoma re-roofed our entire community in 2022 and did an outstanding job. Every villa owner was happy - absolutely no complaints. Their project bid was detailed. They inspected every roof prior to submitting their bid. Their crews were respectful and courteous on the job. The project supervisor kept each villa owner aware of the progress on their specific roof. The owners repeatedly stopped by to monitor progress. They met their timelines. Roofing is a messy job - crews cleaned up at the end of each work day so as not to leave your yard in an unsightly mess. I would highly recommend them and would certainly use them again and again. read more

Every now and then you still find someone that cares about quality vs quantity! Acoma did a fantastic job on an apt. of ours and didn't "half-bake" the job. They used the correct thickness plywood on the roof, reinforced the truss and installed the ridge vent professionally and warrantied the work for two years. Did your roofer do that ? Above and beyond is what I'd call it . Use Acoma and do yourself a favor - so much better than my old company. I will stick with Acoma! Many Thanks! read more

Professional, friendly and very very good at what they do. One of the best experiences I have had in dealing with any contractor. From the clear communication with the salesperson, to the introduction of the job foreman and the supervisor all the way to the owner coming up on the roof and checking things out. Family owned and very well managed. Most of the crew have been with them for many many years. I honestly can not say one negative thing about this company or its people. Just a complete joy to work with honest, caring and conscientious people. Started on time, ended on time, told me about the issues that would affect the final cost when discovered and then showed me the bad decking, rotted wood and water damage. I was also on the roof with them both days taking pictures. They never once showed any animosity or issues with the "homeowner" looking over their shoulder. Great bunch of guys. I interviewed 5 major roofing companies and got their quotes. Acoma Roofing won my business by being up front, honest, and having the color shingles I wanted. (that was huge) and they did have the best pricing. If you are getting quotes for a new roof, talk to Acoma! R. Rogers read more

From our first contact with Max to the finished job, Acoma Roofing was professional, efficient and reliable. They identified, fixed the roof leaks on our tile roof which was installed just 5 years ago by a competitor and also replaced the rotted wood framed chimney with Hardie Fiber Cement Board. Thank you Acoma!!!!! read more

Due to insurance requirements, because of the last time our roof was done, we had to put a complete new roof on. I am now retired and shopped more than I ever had in the past. I had several sales agents come to give us estimates where both my wife and I were together. Besides being the best price and selection of roof tiles I will write what happened. The agent from Acoma left and my wife and I both said, THAT IS THE COMPANY WE WANT TO USE!! The sales rep was so down to earth, courteous and not pushy at all; we just both immediately liked him! Besides the best price, quality of material, speed of how soon the job would be done, THE SALES REP SOLD US ON HOW PLEASANT HE WAS! Best job, fast and all in the company were so pleasant to deal with. We have already had neighbors comment on how nice the roof looks, and one said to us how amazed the job was done so quickly. We shopped and shopped, and to save you a lot of time, we would really recommend ACOMA! I normally do not write reviews, but I felt like I had to let people know that they can save a lot of time and consider, and chose ACOMA! What an in credible experience!! read more

I could not be happier with the service we received from the Acoma staff. From Ryder, their very knowledgeable, responsive salesman to the crew that replaced, repaired and set the tiles. They showed up on time when they were scheduled, they cleaned everything and they were very respectful and courteous. The roof looks fantastic. I highly recommend this company. read more

One star: Experience with the company. Called the place, asked if they repair double shingles roof. The phone rep said they do. Did some venting and explaining my frustration with many other roofing companies about how hard it was. Then I asked, "do you do service near Busch Blvd and North Blvd?" The rep told me they do not service that area. Between Acoma Roofing and the service area it is no more than 16 miles and 40 minutes drive. No service could be established with them. That is the reason for the one star rating. No rating for an actual service can be written about. So, for reviewers looking to find out if this is a good company to work with, then this review is NOT helpful in anyway way, shape or form. However it is very helpful for people living in chamberlain high school area or who is looking for double shingle repairs being done not in Chamberlain High School area. If that is not correct, then the owner, like other owners on Yelp have the right to respond, correct, and even give out a reviewer's name and the physical address of where the service is at like Jason at another roofing company. By the way, the other roofing was reported to Yelp support, and Acoma roofing was some how looked into, and the other other roofing review never brought up by Yelp support. Never mind the original reason for reporting to Yelp support. Yelp HQ decided to remove Acoma Roofing two review posts instead. If only Yelp can rated and review. That just ridiculous how Yelp claims is for consumers, but it is also the company that gets the benefits, when it comes me. 1) No fault of Acoma, but by "Yelp community" as it was told by Yelp headquarter. Try number three to have review NOT be removed, because the first reviews were removed by Yelp hq from San Fran. And when try to reply, there is "no-reply@yelp.com". Which means can not reply? Or does anyone know what it means. This is the only the company that a reviewer can not get any resolution from Yelp. If Yelp wants to remove this review, please email clearly, in the sender's own words, rather than a generic email with a link to Yelp's Content Guidelines, as to why and how this particular review is not within Yelp's content guidelines, at http://www.yelp.com/guidelines? read more

We needed to have our roof replaced and Acoma did a great job. The crew was always professional, friendly, and accommodating. Everyday the work site was cleaned and organized. Any questions, worries, or concerns I had were addressed promptly and with satisfaction. Calls were returned within 24 hours, and they turned a stressful project into a non-event, and the roof looks amazing. read more

I had 4 estimates from well know popular roofing companies. I was amazed on how many sales people sounded like carnival barkers. When Acoma roofing gave us a quote and left my home my wife and I knew they were the right one. All work was performed on-time and as expected. Their team was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Many people remarked that it was one of the neatest roofing jobs they had ever seen. Their prices were fair and they do not hire contract workers like some do. They have their own permanent crew. They were very neat and when they left it looked like they weren't even there. I was so impressed I asked the to put a sign in my front yard. They use the best products and warranty them. I would recommend Acoma Roofing to anyone who reads this. Great company Top Crew!" read more

I found this company on Google and called them this morning to ask for an estimate for a roof repair. The website says "call for a free estimate" and the word "free" is in bold letters. After giving all my personal information to the lady over the phone, she told me that because I am purchasing the house, the company charges $124 to give me an estimate, which is then applied to the cost of the repair if I decide to go ahead with it. When I asked her why they do so only for those who are buying a house, she said that it is the company's policy. I fully respect the company's policy, however, I believe that the information given on their website is inaccurate and misleading, given that it clearly says FREE estimate, without stating that there are exceptions. This company may do a great job repairing a roof but discriminating those who are buying a house and charging us for an estimate when they don't charge others, is not, in my opinion, a good way of doing business. read more

This business was contracted by our condo management. I would never recommend this contractor!! They provided "only12 hrs notice" of the roofing project!! This notice also indicated that owners would be responsible for damages incurred by their work. Tarp used to cover bushes also covered the entryway creating a very unsafe passage in and out of the building. Do Not Hire this very unprofessional business. read more

I did a bit of research before I chose someone to come and check out my roof. Acoma won. They also were able to come out earlier that previously scheduled (within a week). Ryder, representing Acoma, came over, took me outside, and showed me the situation. He went up on the roof and found slipping tiles as well. He verbally told me a ball park figure but would send me a proposal within 48 hours with work to be done within a week after I approved it. There was never any talk of fee for estimate BUT this is a house already owned. I get the policy. At this point, we are looking to approve the work with visions of replacing the entire roof in the next couple of years. I will be able to state, after the work is done, definitively that I will go with Acoma to do the roof replacement. The key word is confidence and My wife & I are feeling it with Acoma! The stress from not knowing where to go next has been resolved. I will followup this review after the dust has settled! UPDATE Aug 13,2015: Read your own reviews! I should have since I couldn't remember the followup! Yes, Acoma did my vet replacement & patch work. Fast, efficient and fair price! Since the annual rain season decided to go for a personal best, I've had to bring in the troops again on a couple of problem areas. Ryder O'Brian came back, did a tour in the crawl space, and is taking action to establish the issue. Trust me when I say I'm comfortable with the methodical plan to resolved the issues! Acoma will take care of me AND I just elevated my star count! Yes, I recommend them! read more

Was contacted by the owner apologizing to me. He said there must have been a miscommunication with his office staff and that we should have been extended the free estimate. Still too late for this company as we have chosen a different roofing company. read more

Very honest business who I explained to that I couldn't afford a new roof even though my roof is 20 years old and does need replacing they fixed the leaks on my roof and until the economy turns and my finances turn the repairs are perfect. they are a great group of guys that went out of their way to let me know when they first arrived and gave me the courtesy to let me know the repair was done when they left. Even though they incurred a little bit more work than they thought they stay true to the estimate right on the money as far as I'm concerned they are the only roofing company that I will use! Acoma Roofing fixed my leaking roof! Everyone involved was courteous and caring. Max identified the problem area immediately, submitted the necessary information to our HOA and followed through until the process was complete. Further, the workers came out in the rain to tarp the area until it could be repaired, which I greatly appreciated. I'm very pleased with Acoma Roofing's professionalism and skill. Thank you Acoma!! read more

Acoma Roofing provided excellent service and demonstrated that they are a company that can be relied on and trusted. Their work ethic is highly commendable and their integrity was clearly noticeable. I needed some roof repairing done after a recent storm and there was an issue on both sides of my house. Acoma realized that part of the issue was their doing, but part of it was not. While they could have charged me to fix the problematic area that was not their doing, they completed a complete roof repair free of charge. I've shared a bit of my story to illustrate the strong word and guarantee of Acoma Roofing. If a customer has an issue or is not satisfied, they will go above and beyond to resolve any problem or concern and are beyond fair in their response. Ivan, Hiva, and Ryder were super helpful, considerate, and delivered exceptional service. I highly recommend Acoma Roofing's services and would certainly use them again. read more

Acoma Roofing was referred to us by a neighbor who had a positive experience with a new roof installation. Our experience from quote, to installation, to later a repair (after the hurricane) was nothing but professional, prompt and pleasant. There was constant communication throughout the process and whenever we had questions our sales person or a staff member at the front office was quick to respond. Thank you for our beautiful roof and peace of mind. read more

This company was very accommodating and worked quickly to get the work done prior to rainy season! Would definitely recommend!

I contacted four roofing companies to provide quotes before replacing my roof. Acoma quoted the fastest and was the most cost effective. Two of the other companies contacted did not even show up to quote. The Acoma crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work quickly. No issues with the roof at all. During Hurricane Irma a few shingles blew away in the high winds coming off the Gulf. Contacted Acoma for repair work as there was not enough damage to make an insurance claim and they completed the task within two days of calling (extremely fast after a Hurricane). Their crew is completely professional and I can not recommend them enough. read more

My dad is asking me to post. Dad had entire roof replaced. Says they were professional, easy to deal with, the crews were polite and friendly. He would highly recommend. read more

I recently had my roof replaced on my home in Clearwater. After talking with several roofing companies about the project on hand, I decided to go with Acoma Roofing out of Oldsmar. From day one, they made me feel like their number one priority. Ryder, their top notch salesman kept me informed throughout the project, letting me know what to expect as the job progressed. His knowledge and honesty made me feel very comfortable and confident that we were in good hands. The finished product looks fantastic!! The crew did an outstanding job from start to finish. Very professional, friendly and did an outstanding job cleaning up. My fiance and I sleep much better at night now that our roof isn't leaking during this extremely wet summer we're enduring. I would definitely recomend Acoma Roofing to anybody looking to repair or replace their roof. read more
