I chose Westfall because I had 2 coworkers that had used them for their roofs and said great things about their work and they have a platinum rating...The process was very simple and they emailed me updates on the process of my work order and building permit. David the project manager was very helpful and communicative about the project..My biggest concern was to get the roof off and have a rain storm but David assured me that they work in sections to prevent that. The day of the roof removal and installation a crew of 7 arrived and immediately went to work, these guys worked nonstop for 13 hours finishing the second floor roof and porch roof.It was super impressive. I know so many people that have used Westfall Roofing due to their exceptional reputation and they have all been very happy so I did not hesitate to call them. Cameron got us an estimate almost immediately and was very good about promptly answering any questions we had. I was very happy with his service and the line of products and colors they offered. Since I'm a realtor, I was also happy to learn that they offer financing for those that might need it and delayed payment for Sellers whose homes are under contract that require a roof replacement prior to closing. Westfall was scheduling pretty far out. I expected that since they have such a good reputation and are so popular. But they ended up being able to complete the roof much sooner than expected. We were given a list of things to do to prep and protect our personal belongings around our home. Materials were delivered a day or two before. Then they carefully covered the areas close to our home with tarps before they started on our roof. I had called Westfall Roofing for a repair to an aluminum panel roof. The call went to their answering service and so I left the information with as much detail as possible. About 15 minutes later I received a call back from Westfall. Although the person I spoke with apologized for not being able to help me...they don't repair aluminum panel roofs, he felt it important to at least call me back. That's a big deal to me. Too often I'll call a service company and never get a call back, and although WESTFALL ROOFING doesn't provide the services I need, they went out of the way to communicate with me. This company will give you a good price, but it's not worth the damage they caused. They replaced my roof on a day we had a storm in the evening. Failed to cover the open roof properly causing the ceiling to collapse in 3 rooms. Had to replace carpet and 2 beds that were damaged as well. Left material in the front lawn for a month causing a 20 foot dead spot on the lawn. Took them almost a year to fix the ceiling all while threatening to put a lean on my house. I should've hired a lawyer but too late now. Absolutely horrible experience. read more

However, they have cited small print on the back of the contract for not repairing damage to my home (specifically, the concrete driveway). They also damaged paint on the home, sprinkler heads, pavers, etc....took no responsibility. I am not sure how Westfall Roofing gets 5 star reviews. After having my roof replaced, twice I had to have Westfall Roofing come back to replace rotted facia boards that I found. Why does the customer need to find the rotted boards that need replacing? I had a question for the wind mitigation company (Hawks Eye Home Inspection) that Westfall sent out after the roof replacement. After calling three times and leaving two messages, I called Westfall roofing. I was told that they would make sure that someone would call me. As of this time, several weeks later, NO return call. Needed roof repaired after the storm, from start to finish these guys were pros all the way. My rep Dan Reese came out, inspected the roof and gave it to me straight! No hard sale, just gave me my options. Never the less I went with the full replacement. I cant say enough about Dan, when I called he always answered, never too busy for my questions. A few days ago, after Milton, I called Westfall to tarp a small section of my roof as Milton damaged the ridge cap. They told me someone would be out to do that today and to give me an estimate to repair. On Wednesday, I got a call from the person coming out. He told me he is a sales per and although he goes on the roof he does not do any tarping. He said if I wanted a tarp, it would be 3-4 weeks and would cost $1,300. (major gouging) . They put my roof on 6 years ago. As far as fixing, he would give me a price, since my Platium Waranty would not cover a hurricane. This is a terrible company and I cancelled the reps visit. Plus, they were recommended by people in the neighborhood who'd used them previously. I am happy to strongly recommend Westfall Roofing for complete roof replacement. Every aspect of my dealings with this company was professional, customer-service oriented, high quality, on time and on budget--no surprises. And they left my property nearly pristine after the job was done; no scraps, nails, old roofing--anything--littered my yard or gardens. I loved the fact that the field supervisor came by unannounced the morning after to do an on-roof inspection, walk-around and consultation with the owner--me! Westfall Roofing Company caused severe damage to our oak floors on Thursday, 8/15/24, due to failing to cover an eve while installing a roof during a rainstorm. As a result, rainwater got in and badly damaged our oak floors. Maria, the manager, came in to inspect and said that they had missed covering up an "Eave" and that I should take pictures and videos. The next day, we saw the damage and called the company several times on Friday, 8/16/24, but they never called us back that day or over the weekend. When the company representatives did show up on Tuesday, 8/20, they refused to take responsibility for the floor damage their negligence caused and blamed the plumbing. However, I  had a plumber come and check for water leaks on 8/16/24, and they said there was no water leakage due to plumbing. We never had any water leak into our home from outside before this incident or after this incident; water leaks only occurred the day Westfall was working on our roof.  Additionally, Westfall broke two of our outdoor lights and has not done anything to replace the broken light fixtures. I would avoid using this company because they have a history of damaging property and subsequently refusing to be accountable for the damage they have caused. read more

Westfall Roofing takes no professional responsibility for safely handling the products they install. As you can see, the brand new roof is so poorly installed you can visibly see the defects. Chemical off gassing continues months after Westfall completed this roof. Continually Westfall Roofing maintains that the roof passed city inspection - be forewarned that city roof inspection is completed without ever entering a house. Inspectors will pass the roof and Westfall will not care that you cannot breath in the house afterward. Westfall will just have to live with themselves and the cancer that will likely result for future owners from their poor workmanship. WESTFALL ROOFING ISSUES - Delayed Job Start o We originally wanted the job to start in January before we moved into the house. Once we paid the deposit, we couldn't schedule for weeks. Our job was finally scheduled for the end of February (after we occupied the house). - Waste Trailer o We requested the waste trailer to be placed on the left side of the garage so we could have access. The trailer was placed on the right side of the garage, without our knowledge. I texted and called our Job Supervisor but did not get a response. A few hours later, the trailer was moved to the correct side of the driveway. - Delayed Job Start o After the Job Supervisor arrived, he informed me that the Crew Manager had called off sick and the crew couldn't work without a manager. The job would be pushed back one day. Ten minutes later, I got a call from the Westfall office stating that the crew had to finish a previous job and couldn't get to my house. The job would be pushed back one day. o I can understand that situations occur. I was not upset that the crew couldn't start on the scheduled day. But I don't appreciate being lied to. Either the Crew Manager was sick or the crew had to finish another job. But only one of those is true and the other is a lie. - Satellite Dish Receiver o When I contracted the job, we discussed the satellite dish and that we would be without service for a couple of days. After the crew left, we did not have TV service. I inspected the roof and the satellite receiver was not replaced. The wires had been cut and the receiver was nowhere to be found. o I called and texted the Job Supervisor and didn't get a response until the following day. When the Job Supervisor called, he stated that our service provider would have to be scheduled to align the satellite dish. I explained that the receiver was MISSING and the wires were CUT. He apologized and stated that he should have mentioned the re-alignment service call. The Job Supervisor then stated that most customers throw away their satellite receivers when they get new roofs. (That is impossible to believe!) o The Job Supervisor mentioned that Westfall Roofing would pay for the installation of the satellite receiver. He made no effort to expedite this matter nor to assist in fixing the mistake. The solution is to put everything on the customer to figure it out. - Job Not Complete o There are supplies in my front yard and the Job Supervisor mentioned that the job is not complete. Obviously, this is not an urgent concern as nobody has come by to finish my job. First, my job couldn't be started because the crew was at another job. Now my roof can't be completed because the crew is at another job. When will my roof be prioritized? It seems this job is not the most important job and Westfall Roofing will get to it at their convenience. Regardless of the mistakes that have been made. Any one of these issues would not be of any consequence. But together, this is a pattern of mistakes, miscommunication, and poor customer service. We have been lied to, not responded to and our property destroyed. The inconvenience of our satellite receiver cannot be recovered. Westfall Roofing must have so many customers that they can treat some of them with a lack of respect and discard private property. "Don't solve the problem, just pay for the damage". We will be waiting days to weeks to restore our satellite service. Had we known about this ahead of time, we could have been prepared to purchase a new satellite receiver and be without service for an extended amount of time. read more

If you are considering replacing your roof, DO NOT USE WESTFALL ROOFING. I cannot say this enough. If I could go back and use ANY other company in the Tampa Bay area, I would. We are not difficult people to work with, but when we pay a lot of money for a job we expect it to be done right. When we first got an estimate with Westfall they seemed professional and reasonable. Boy, did they fool us. After completing the job, and not contacting us with any changes (or getting our permission for anything) during the job process they tried to charge us $4,000 more than our estimate. Then, we had to have them come out THREE additional times for water damage that showed up on our ceiling. Two supervisors came out and spent 3+ hours on our roof attempting to fix the issue. After the latest storm, we had the largest water stain yet. We are selling our home and needed the issue to be addressed quickly. They claimed the newest water damage wasn't from the roof and after arguing with the owner's brother Paul for what felt like hours, he proceeded to say "you could just do what the people who lived here before did to you and just paint over it." GREAT advice. I can see where your company stands when it comes to ethics. I received a call from Ryan on Friday afternoon after dealing with Paul saying that he and his father (the owner) would be coming out on Monday (today) to take a look at the issue themselves. He said Sherry would give me a call Monday morning to schedule a time. Well, it is 3:50 on Monday afternoon and I still have not heard from Ryan or Sherry. This would have made the FIFTH time this company has been at our home, including the roof installation. Contracted Westfall Roofing for residential re-roof for which work was performed end of February 2021. Wasn't until June of 2021 that we experienced our first heavy rainfall which exposed defective workmanship with the installation and waterproofing of skylight flashing. Considerable interior water damage was done to the ceiling around the entire 2 X 4 skylight, with water flowing down the slope of the vaulted ceiling and downwards where the ceiling met the wall. This happened to be right above the home's front entry doors where water traveled and soaked the door tops and ran on down to the floors. Westfall only saw fit to correct the flashing leak and patch up the ceiling damage and refused to address any of the resulting permanent damages caused by the water intrusion. The water caused the custom built doors to swell, warp and delaminate. I met Westfall's requests for estimate gathering, exploring the full gammit of remedies from new door replacement to pricing out doing some of the labor myself. They refused to respond to the information I provided, and did not show for a mediation session I had coordinated. Think long and hard about the level of integrity you want in a roofing contractor who would be installing a such a critical, expensive component to your home or property. I wish I had not been duped by their "cover you like family" slogan, and had taken to heart other's reported problems with this company. read more
