You gotta be kidding me. That Seattle allows this park to be a Walmart of drug sales is beyond my comprehension. Regrade Park rivals 3rd and Pine for the most dangerous corner in the city. Just walking by in the middle of the day is dangerous. I get accosted every time I walk past. It reminds of an episode in the TV show The Wire, when a section of Baltimore was set aside for drug use without prosecution. That's fine, unless it poses a threat to other people who just want to enjoy living in an urban environment. Regrade Park is an eye sore and is dangerous for people using the sidewalk crossing Bell at Third Avenue. It will be a block from my new condo, and I know something's going to happen when I'm accosted again. read more
