This place is an utter joke. I was told this was convenient. I went in to register my car and…read moreeverything was all smiles and laughs and only $302. I then received a phone call to come back in, and was told I have to pay an additional $140. The staff here is actually pretty hilarious as they make up random answers, and after they say "that's why" as if they have reassured you of why you have to pay. After I received my random answer for my second payment. They handed me 1 license plate and told me to have a good day. Since then I have received $120 ticket for only having 1 plate (I moved from Philadelphia and was told by staff I am fine with 1), and received 2 letters from DMV stating that my car is no longer registered. Long story short I had to go back to DMV, wait in line, and pay again just to do what they didn't. Such a shame to rip off innocent people, but at least they are funny hahaha. After paying off the car loan, there was a mix-up between the dealership and the CA DMV. As a result, the DMV mailed the pink slip to the wrong address. Anyways, after going through local DMV offices, it became obvious that I am at a complete loss on how to get a replacement pink slip. Out of desperation, I went to Yelp.com and typed DMV services. Lo and behold, Auto City Registration came up with a five star service rating. I called them and talked to America in Milpitas, CA about my problem. She asked me to fill out two DMV forms and sign them by hand and give them to her. She reassured me that she could help me but mentioned that she will not charge anything if she could not help. She also said that it may take a month to get the replacement pink slip directly from CA DMV. As she promised, I got the pink slip in about three weeks for a very affordable fee. She made my day and I highly recommend her and this service. Many kudos to America and this service.

I was so fortunate to find Shar who was able to process the 3rd and last important document I…read moreneeded in order to satisfy the DMV registration criteria prior to receiving a Registration. That was the VIN Verification. I had contacted another provider in the area but they wanted to see the MSO (Manufacturer Statement of Origin) or basically your new car's birth certificate. Shar was easy to work with, very friendly, quick and the process was done within 20 min. She was so surprised to see what type of car I had and also the low mileage (less than 75 miles). Again, all I needed to do was show her my mileage of the vehicle, the 50 state emissions sticker usually located under the hood and that was basically it. She does all the paperwork for you on the spot. She then went back up to her office to print the paperwork and told me to follow her after 10 min. which I did. When I entered her office (#230), she showed me her license on the wall and then I paid her $25 in cash- easy money. I got my copies and off I went. I promised to give her a well-deserved 5 star review. When you pay her a visit, her parking for her office is off the Cecil Ave. next to the brand new warehouse-like building they just built. Park there, give her a call, and she'll come down the stairs to meet you. Her office is back upstairs on the left side of the building at the very end. I am thankful for her service in so many ways since it eliminated the hassle for me to try and setup an appointment with the DMV and then having to drive to one of their locations. For the amount I paid for this service, it was well worth it. She will even mail the DMV paperwork for you, but in my case, I just needed the VIN verfication document as I was going to send my paperwork in myself. I highly recommend her services if you buy a car out of state or bringing in a vehicle of any type that needs VIN Verification.

It's only a couple blocks up from 17 (85 and 280 are a quick drive once on 17), so it's an easy location to get to off of the freeway. When you go there you don't need to go into the Chevron store. You can walk up to the garage and someone will greet you there. They have a small area with seats too if you choose to sit but the process is quick, so you can easily stand outside and wait if you want. It's a first come, first serve walk-in type of location. And it moves quickly. It is also a Star Certified shop, so if the DMV is requiring that you get a more rigorous, certified test completed on your car this place will work. The guys working there are super friendly and the service is fast. And the shop is clean. I originally sent out a request via Yelp! to get pricing and they responded in less that 5 minutes. Going through Yelp! is also a good way to go because they offer you a discount when you reach out to them via the Yelp! app/website. When they finish they said the results would be accessible by the DMV within a couple of hours. There were two people in front of me but despite that I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place and I will utilize them for our other cars.

Could not get my Nevada ATV quailfied in CA through no fault of his own…read more Although we found the VIN easily enough the federal safety and CA emission stickers eluded us, despite a half hour or more of looking. Polaris told me on the phone they don't have to put the federal safety sticker on because it is an OHV. And no CA emissions because its not CA. I offered to pay him anyway since it wasn't his fault but he refused. How often do you meet anyone with character these days?
