The seats were pretty decent, the stadium showed its age in some spots (especially the stairwells) but overall it's a beautiful stadium with great sight lines and wonderful views (in the top deck) of Downtown Boston as well. I went to a sold out show earlier this summer, and the acoustics for the first opener were terrible. I was nervous the rest of the show would sound as 'blurry' and unprofessional, but they were able to adjust it halfway through her set thankfully. How awful for the artist, though, to be broadcast at such low quality audio at such an infamous location. The seats are not comfortable at all - and they want us to sit in them for extended periods of time!? I was seated in the stands under the covering, so luckily did not have direct sunlight on me during this scorching hot day, but there are also no fans or way for air to flow through the covered areas, so I was miserably hot. This place would make a killing if they sold personal fans or misters in the summer. The process of even getting in to a concert here is a little ridiculous - you have to get a whole separate app to access your concert ticket, instead of being able to use an email or add it to your Apple/Google wallet like you can at every other venue. Merch staff was incredibly rude, and have the audacity to ask for tips after yelling at you about your selections and being unhelpful as can be. Of course drink prices are inflated through the roof, but it almost felt illegal what they were charging for a bottle of water at an outside venue during a crazy heat wave. Worst of all were the bathrooms. They're clearly not checked or cleaned at ALL throughout the night, which is alarming considering the volume of people that flow through there. For a show that had a primarily female audience, no men's bathrooms were converted to women's, so the women's lines were out of control. You couldn't even move in the concourse in between sets anywhere near merch, the bathrooms, or concessions, which felt like an extreme fire hazard. The porta potties outside weren't even easy to get to - people were in multiple lines all the way across the exit, with no way to easily get back in the concourse when going the other way except to push through people. They actually had porta potty ATTENDANTS (what a concept), but they did help the line get moving once they were in place and on the ball. They were so helpful I actually tipped them in their tip jar strapped to a tree (lol) out of sheer gratitude for being the only people paying attention to making those huge lines move. At the end of the night I was able to get in line for the regular indoor bathrooms at last, since so many people left early to beat the herd, and there was trash, toilet paper, tampons, and other crud all over the floors and sinks. The water only operated at a scalding hot temperature, so you couldn't even splash cool water on your face to cool down, and it felt like my hands were burning. It was absolutely appalling! Toilet paper was running low, trash cans all over the venue were overflowing, it was nasty and I couldn't wait to get out of there. TD Garden is its own overcrowded nightmare, but I'd take a show there any day over overheating and using gross bathrooms and not being able to meet up with friends in the concourse because I couldn't even move through the crowds. Seems like a bunch of serious safety concerns that I hope are more under control than what I experienced for other events. Sad, because otherwise the event was absolutely incredible.

Which for a venue is insane mismanagement. They have one single 3-foot wide entrance (besides the VIP entrance, which I didn't experience other than to see it similarly lacked signage and coordination). They had zero line management and no signage outside the venue. Once inside, the space was a little calmer, but still had terrible logistics. The bathrooms had no line management, a terrible layout, and lacked signage so people were confused and bumping into each other constantly. The food and drinks were disappointing, but at least they had a few different options. The acoustics and sight lines were decent but the seats were uncomfortable and only 2/3 had cup holders. The worst part is that it seems like this place could be so much better. They have nice staff and they have enough space. It's just being managed terribly.

I had an awesome first visit to Leader Bank Pavillion for a concert! It was a gorgeous summer night…read more- but if it were raining, the canopy would've kept us dry. I loved the venue size - totally manageable and not overwhelming. Lots of bathroom stalls meant any lines moved quickly. I loved taking a break between the opener and main act to stand quietly by the water. Several drink and food options (pizza, dumplings, chicken nuggets, fries, burgers), and a free water fountain + water bottle filling station. Definitely still plan on wearing ear plugs - the music was as loud as any other venue.

This is an iconic sports cathedral. The entry hall has the unique feel of an old time movie…read moretheater, and once you walk into the arena itself, well, you immediately know you are some place special. Original Six NHL teams competed in this building when it was the home of the Bruins (1924-28), the Boston Celtics played here in their early days (1946-55), and a veritable who's who of eastern college hockey teams have called the old barn home. The old style entry doors and working heat registers on the walls attest to the age of this hockey haven. This venerable 113-year old building (it opened April 10, 1910) screams hockey history and is not to be missed by any true sports fan.

What's really cool is that the stadium is left unlocked. Anyone 24/7 can walk in the Roman coliseum type structure and walk on the turf field. A bit disappointing that it was not a grass field, but oh well. There are some renovations going on over the Summer. To me it looks it's age. The scoreboard is modest. A bit of background. The Harvard Stadium turned 116 years old this year. It has the distinction of being the oldest permanent concrete structure in intercollegiate sports. For more than a century it stands proud as the "aristocrat of American sports amphitheaters". As one writer described it. Their first game was against Dartmouth in 1903. Get a photo op on the field and experience the history of Harvard Football. It's a darn cool place to say you have visited.

Home of the Boston Bruins practices! I had heard about these practices and finally decided to check…read moreit out. There's a schedule for the Bruins practices online, and they are free to attend. When you enter on the first floor, you have to walk up three levels to get to the practice. Elevator did not work for us going upward as you needed a card to unlock it, so beware you'll have to walk up the stairs. Weirdly enough it worked for us going down? On the second level, there's a Pro Shop with Warrior Ice Arena merch, as well as a booth where you can rent skates. On the third floor is where the practice takes place. They also had a snack shop with hot foods, drinks, and snacks available to buy. Didn't get anything but lots of people were. Online the practice said it began at 11am and finished at 1pm. We got there a few minutes past 11 and the B's had already begun. 12pm rolled around and everyone started to leave the ice. All of us in the stands were confused as the website said they practiced for another hour. Didn't know if they went to take a break, or if it finished early. I asked a lady working at the rink and she told me since it was a game day, practices are optional for the team and most days they don't run until 1pm anyway. I know it's their practice but you really are just a spectator. They make no announcements, and the rink doesn't interact with fans (except to give a kid an occasional hockey puck). I wish there was a little more structure from the actual ice rink. They invite fans to come but we're left up in limbo...just a pre-recorded announcement over the loud speaker, "hey practice is over now, thanks for coming, go Bruins" would suffice. Parking is iffy as there's 2 hour free parking on the streets, or $20 flat fee on weekends in the garages. We thought the practice would be longer so we parked in the garage. But now knowing it might end early, free street parking would've worked just fine. As for the rink, I can't speak to the other things they offer, but just walking through I noticed signs for public skate, skate rental, skating classes for kids and adults, and even birthday parties. Anyway it's still a cool experience either way. Now knowing it's more chill and can end early, I'd be more prepared for next time.

This is my first time here and I liked it. You get to watch the Boston Bruins practice. It's fun to…read morego to the rink and see them. You sit wherever you want. There are snacks to get. A little on the pricy side. There are clean restrooms. There is a parking garage attached or you find street parking. Apparently, they have free skating after. And they do offer skating lessons here. It's fun to come and watch the Bruins. I'm a big fan so I like it. It's located near channel 2. There are some other restaurants nearby.

Not sure how this place gets anything other than a 5-star rating ... this is a great college hockey…read morebarn. First off, from the parking attendants to the concessions staff, everyone was exceedingly polite and happy to provide information about the facility. The sight lines for hockey a great anywhere in the building, and the crowd was energetic throughout the game. We saw a 2-1 Harvard victory over St. Lawrence on 2/16/24. Came here for the Evening with Champions. The house wasn't that packed so seating was more than…read moresufficient. The arena is very rudimentary in terms of accommodations, food options inside are pretty limited to popcorn and burgers/hot dogs so that wasn't too appealing. The lighting in the arena is quite nice, they were able to put on some pretty nice effects throughout the show. Parking is plentiful outside. Unfortunately because it's near other athletic centers in Allston, it can get crowded after games and traffic can always be an issue.
