I've been here twice, once for a hockey game and once for a comedy show for homecoming and both were great. You can't get good seats every time (I couldn't see the camera zoom in for the comedy show) , but I feel like it's that way with any stadium. Great sound. Not freezing when it's not hockey :)

Do they serve beer at hockey games? I heard they do at the Varsity Club, but can everyone get access to that? I am an alumnus.

The environment created by the building is undeniable and I honestly think that the TD Garden staff does an outstanding job getting people into the venue safely and quickly and there are friendly faces ready to help you throughout the stadium's concourses.

I am still angry enough weeks later to come back and write this review because the way TD Garden…read morehandled this was ridiculous. First, the bag policy. Apparently customers are just supposed to magically know about it. My wife and I bought tickets for the TWICE concert about a week before, and nowhere on the ticket site was this made clear in a way that actually helped us. We only found out after arriving that only bags under a certain size are allowed inside. If your bag is too big, you have to go downstairs to bag check and pay $15 for them to hold it. So not only are you inconvenienced, you also get charged extra because TD Garden could not be bothered to clearly warn people ahead of time. If we had known, we would have left the bag in the car. Simple. What made it much worse was security. I do not know if they work for TD Garden or some outside company, but they were some of the rudest, most useless people I have dealt with in a long time. From the second we got there, they had attitude. Instead of acting professional and helping people, they looked more interested in flirting, acting cool, and doing the bare minimum. They stopped us because of my wife's bag. My wife is pregnant, so she had important things in it that she needed. Instead of explaining anything clearly, all they kept saying was, "Your bag is too big, go downstairs." That was it. No real directions, no patience, no help. Since it was our first time there, we asked where exactly to go. Same answer: "Just go downstairs." We ended up following other confused people to find the bag check area. That made it obvious this was not just us. A lot of people clearly had no idea about this policy either. Honestly, it started feeling like a scam. So many people show up unaware, get sent downstairs, and suddenly have to pay $15. That should have been clearly stated before people even bought tickets. Then came the worst part: getting the bag back. After the concert, every single person who checked a bag had to go to one single bag claim area. One. For an entire event. So now you have one huge crowded line of tired, frustrated people all trying to get their stuff back at the same time. Whoever thought that was a good system should be embarrassed. My wife is pregnant. She could not stand in that packed line that long, especially with nowhere to sit. There were no chairs, no sitting area, no accommodation, nothing. Just a crowded mess. And because it was only the two of us, I was not about to leave my pregnant wife standing there alone while I ran around trying to fix it. So we explained the situation to security and told them clearly that my wife is pregnant and could not stand in that line like that. Their response? "Get back in line." No concern, no solution, no basic decency. Just "get back in line." One guard told me they could not help. The guard my wife spoke to laughed in her face. Laughed. That was the point where this stopped being an inconvenience and became disgusting. The only reason this got resolved at all was because another person near the front of the line was kind enough to get our bags for us. A complete stranger showed us more compassion than the entire security staff. To that person, thank you again. We are still incredibly grateful. That is why TD Garden gets one star. If you are going to have a strict bag policy, clearly warn people before they arrive. And if you are going to force people into bag check, then at least have a better system and some basic accommodations for people who physically cannot stand in a long crowded line. Most of all, hire better security, because the people working that night were rude, dismissive, immature, and completely unhelpful.

Fenway is historical for being the first MLB stadium in the USA. The stadium is constructed mainly of bricks and the seats are wooden foldable seats. The Red Sox were playing the Yankees so the stadium was packed and there was sooooo much energy in the park. Being the biggest rivalry game in baseball all the fans seemed to get along. (Growing up in LA this was not a thing when playing SF). The stadium was packed, they had TVs everywhere so you didn't miss anything while getting food or drinks. They had quite a few crowd engagement sing-a-longs. My favorite was when the entire crowd was singing "Sweet Caroline" that was the first time I had experienced that and it was incredible. This ballpark had SO MUCH ENERGY! Though I am not a sox fan, this was one of the best MLB experience I have had in all my years. If you are debating, just do it! Ladies, they have clean restrooms & nearly no wait time - this is unheard of on the West Coast. I would defiantly return to this park if in the area again just for the high energy and crowd engagement.

Bathrooms are clean enough but could really use some upgrading. Concessions on the other hand are really lacking. The hot dogs are awful. No relish or onions at the condiment stations. The chicken tenders we had were fried in old oil and had a weird seasoning that gave them a strange taste. Everything is overpriced which is to be expected. Expected much better in terms of food. You're better off getting an Italian sausage outside the park.

Home of the Boston Bruins practices! I had heard about these practices and finally decided to check…read moreit out. There's a schedule for the Bruins practices online, and they are free to attend. When you enter on the first floor, you have to walk up three levels to get to the practice. Elevator did not work for us going upward as you needed a card to unlock it, so beware you'll have to walk up the stairs. Weirdly enough it worked for us going down? On the second level, there's a Pro Shop with Warrior Ice Arena merch, as well as a booth where you can rent skates. On the third floor is where the practice takes place. They also had a snack shop with hot foods, drinks, and snacks available to buy. Didn't get anything but lots of people were. Online the practice said it began at 11am and finished at 1pm. We got there a few minutes past 11 and the B's had already begun. 12pm rolled around and everyone started to leave the ice. All of us in the stands were confused as the website said they practiced for another hour. Didn't know if they went to take a break, or if it finished early. I asked a lady working at the rink and she told me since it was a game day, practices are optional for the team and most days they don't run until 1pm anyway. I know it's their practice but you really are just a spectator. They make no announcements, and the rink doesn't interact with fans (except to give a kid an occasional hockey puck). I wish there was a little more structure from the actual ice rink. They invite fans to come but we're left up in limbo...just a pre-recorded announcement over the loud speaker, "hey practice is over now, thanks for coming, go Bruins" would suffice. Parking is iffy as there's 2 hour free parking on the streets, or $20 flat fee on weekends in the garages. We thought the practice would be longer so we parked in the garage. But now knowing it might end early, free street parking would've worked just fine. As for the rink, I can't speak to the other things they offer, but just walking through I noticed signs for public skate, skate rental, skating classes for kids and adults, and even birthday parties. Anyway it's still a cool experience either way. Now knowing it's more chill and can end early, I'd be more prepared for next time.

It's fun to come and watch the Bruins. I'm a big fan so I like it. It's located near channel 2. There are some other restaurants nearby.

Saw Boston College take on the University of Miami at Alumni Stadium on a brisk Friday evening…read more Despite long lines managed to grab a beer during halftime, but did not order any food. Quality I spent many Saturdays cheering for the Eagles football team during my college years and it was a blast coming back. For an exciting televised match-up, fans from both teams packed the stadium creating one of the best atmospheres I could remember at Alumni Stadium. However, even on days when the stadium is empty for a dud of a game, it still makes for a fun afternoon. The one caveat is always the weather, which can quickly ruin a good time. Quantity Alumni Stadium has a capacity of around 45,000, but you will hardly ever see it close to that packed. It does not compete with some of the mega stadiums around college football, but it ensures everyone has a good view of the action. Value Even for the bigger games, tickets are not too hard to come by and usually are reasonably priced. It usually is a matter of how well the opposing team travels. Beers and food are overpriced in the stadium, but that is to be expected. Ambiance Alumni Stadium sits on the Boston College Chestnut Hill campus right outside the city of Boston. It is strictly a college stadium and serves a smaller campus population, so does not compare to the mega stadiums for professional teams or many public universities. Its most recent renovations came in 1995, but the stadium has been maintained well and still feels relatively new. Massive screens on the ends make sure you can enjoy the game regardless of where you sit, but most seats keep you close to the field. Proximity of the field to the nearby reservoir does create a breeze, which on already cool days can feel even cooler. Just make sure to dress warm. Crowd The stadium is often empty for Saturday afternoon kickoffs, but for a big game under the lights the place was rocking. Unfortunately the stadium was not ready for the big crowd, and limited bathrooms and concession stands meant lines stretching around the stadium. However, the fans are some of the most laid-back and polite people you will meet at a college football game. Service While Alumni Stadium is a modern facility, it struggles with large crowds. Even with staff working fast and hard, lines quickly form near the concessions areas. The good things are they are adept at getting folks into the stadium quickly and despite the more crowded game, the bathrooms were kept in good shape. Parking The campus has limited parking on an average day, so during football games things get out of hand. Car service companies or public transportation are the better options to get to and from the stadium. Extra Even as a graduate of Boston College with many fond memories, I have no illusion that Alumni Stadium is a great place to see a game. However, it gets the job done and the friendly fans make it a fun atmosphere to enjoy some football.

Tricky tricky. I spent an hour looking for parking cause they're lot is specialized for orange…read morestickers which I have no idea what that means. But the stadium its self is confusing. Concession stands could be a bit better too. I got a puni lil hot dog for 4.50 so no need to stress how expensive that is. Also, they should separate the line for food and beer. Most ppl are ordering beer while you wait in a tremendously long line to get your expensive food. Guess it's to be expected since it's a stadium but at least dont give us the smallest hot dogs in the world. I get huge filling ones at Costco for 1.50 that's including a drink.
