Had a very fun time watching Disney on ice here today day after Christmas! Lots of happy excited little faces and lots of royalty here among the crowds with shiny sparkly glittery princess outfits. This arena is not too big and not too small - just right! So you can have a pretty good view of the show from almost anywhere! And Disney did not disappoint! Getting in and past the ticket checkers and security was fairly quick and easy. Great show - saw Beauty and the Beast, Tangled Rapunzel, Cinderella, Frozen of course, Coco and Moana. A great time was had by all. Lots of shiny lit wands all over too. There is street parking - metered if you're lucky but it's also right next to the T green line. Overall good experience at Agganis!

Section 103 Row Q Seat 14 (can see everything despite slight angle)

Came here to see The 1975. No complaints, really. Photos are from sec 103. row Q. seat 14. If you're wondering, Q is the last row so nobody will be behind you to get annoyed with your jumping around. You're at a bit of an angle but it's not an issue...a little further to the right and it may have been troublesome. Seats are pretty close together but luckily the 2 seats to my left were open so I had room to dance-you can't sit down at a 1975 show. In between rows is a bit snug but I did alright for having long legs. The sections weren't labeled very well, I had to ask for help and still had difficulty even after that. Sound and staff were fine. I was looking forward to getting frisked but sadly it didn't happen. I never carry much to concerts-just my wallet, phone and keys in my jacket pocket. They asked people to take hold metal objects over their head and walk through the detector. Also - I could hear the music loud and clear so no problem there. I didn't get any food but I saw the pizza-it looked like shit but I'm from NY so I'm a bit snobby about my slices. People also had small buckets of popcorn. It's too far for me to go unless it's a -MUST SEE BAND OR I WILL DIE!- kinda thing but it was a very pleasant experience.

Came here for an Arctic Monkeys concert! Tickets were reasonably located and the entire venue was pretty well staffed - they have two entrances in addition to the ticket entrance and they were pretty efficient about making sure people were filing in based on their seating. When I went, they separated the floor into two sections, one closer to the stage and one right up against the stage (you can definitely tell that it's a hockey stadium). It seemed like a good way to ekk out more money in ticket sales, but the floor areas were less than half full, making for some awkward wide open space. There are quite a few food places where you can get the usual crappy stadium food (think pretzels and icees and four dollar sodas) but they were abundant enough that you never really felt like you had to wait in line forever. Bathrooms are plentiful and overall it seems well managed and efficient. Overall, not a horrible venue. The stadium is pretty echoy-y, though, so the music quality isn't great. NOTE: The security at the venue is fairly strict. No large backpacks are allowed in, and everyone gets a pat down when you enter. Also, it opens into Commonwealth, so traffic is an absolute nightmare when you exit and everyone just spills into the street.

Came for the BU/BC game on Friday the thirteenth and really enjoyed the event! I was here for the hockey but the facilities were clean and nice, and I liked that when you walked around there were bits of BU hockey history on the walls to browse. Some of them clearly hadn't been updated in a while, especially the placards of alum who were still playing in the NHL and had been traded, but it was still nice to see! They had a nice selection of merchandise and I had friends at the game who also appreciated the selection of alcoholic beverages ;) I myself got some mini fried donuts which were delicious and a chicken finger boat that was also solid -- there were so many fries packed beneath the chicken fingers that we couldn't finish them all! Prices were very reasonable for arena food.

No photos policy. Not all concert are like this. But the event staff trying to police this, was incredibly disruptive to enjoying the show

Concert with no Cameras or Cellphone usage allowed. Event staff was highly disruptive. Terrible experience. Skip it. This should be an awesome venue for music - it's way more intimate than a place like the TD Garden, and it was really easy to grab beer and move around. The bathrooms were clean. And the sound was pretty good. The day before the the show we got an email saying no photos would be allowed - no cellphones, no tablets, no cameras. Or you'd be ejected. Which, fine. (Though I wish I knew that before I bought the tickets, because we were seeing Bob Dylan). They took this very seriously at the show. Signs were posted everywhere and the event staff walked around constantly for the duration of the show, periodically blinking their flashlights at anyone they thought was trying to snap a picture. Or we saw a group of event staff huddling together to escort a person out of the arena which made quite a commotion during a quieter song. It was all incredibly distracting and disruptive to the show. And it went on the entire show. The event staff and this no photo policy really killed the vibe and made it a real challenge to get into the music and enjoy the concert. With this guys constantly lurking around it also felt like we where back in high school. I really wish I knew all this before we bought tickets. I will never see a show here again.

    Hot Dog Harassment Incident.
    D O.

BU hockey is legendary as is Agganis. Unfortunately some overzealous hot dog managers feel the need to control your experience. "Kevin" stormed our group of four at our seats to demand IDs. It was the most bizarre moment. I suspect the hot dog harassment stemmed from UConn taking an early lead, so the 6-1 beating UConn put on BU was especially gratifying.

In response to the prior reviews, people forget that arenas were built for sporting events, not for acoustics. No concert ever sounds good or feels comfortable in an arena- this is just a fact. Furthermore, please don't blame the sound quality of the show on the venue. Each concert brings in their own sound system and sound crew. It is up to them to try to make it sound good, not the venue. That said, out of all the venues I occasionally work in, this is one of the best, maybe even the best. Everything is brand new & clean; there is a nice easy loading dock; and the people are friendly & easy to deal with. I have only seen a show from the spotlight position, but I think it's a great place to see a concert. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house! Also, it's right on the Green Line, so you don't have to worry about parking, but if you do drive you can park in the back lot or find a meter on the street. There are also a few decent places to eat/drink before and after the show.

I am very torn about this venue. It serves two purposes for me: concerts and Terrier hockey. Between the two, it's a-ok! For concerts, it has a weird feel...like there's a lot of space with not a lot of people. it doesn't suit well for getting up and dancing, either. The seats don't give much leg room. For hockey, well, there's nothing like a terrier hockey game full of students and alumni in their jerseys, cheering their hearts out or chanting "asshole!" repeatedly at the refs. I did it as a student and I still do it. Maybe I'm biased, and there are definitely some schools that can rival us, but I am always in awe every time I go to a game here; it is unlike anywhere else. There's something in the air that makes it epic and brings the energy up. Even when the basketball team plays here, the energy shifts. It's a great place to watch sports and a great time. So! To sum it up: concerts=eh sports=great

Right before Bastille was about to start. This is supposedly a sold out floor 1

There's a schedule for the Bruins practices online, and they are free to attend. When you enter on the first floor, you have to walk up three levels to get to the practice. Elevator did not work for us going upward as you needed a card to unlock it, so beware you'll have to walk up the stairs. Weirdly enough it worked for us going down? On the second level, there's a Pro Shop with Warrior Ice Arena merch, as well as a booth where you can rent skates. On the third floor is where the practice takes place. They also had a snack shop with hot foods, drinks, and snacks available to buy. Didn't get anything but lots of people were. Online the practice said it began at 11am and finished at 1pm. We got there a few minutes past 11 and the B's had already begun. 12pm rolled around and everyone started to leave the ice. All of us in the stands were confused as the website said they practiced for another hour. Didn't know if they went to take a break, or if it finished early. I asked a lady working at the rink and she told me since it was a game day, practices are optional for the team and most days they don't run until 1pm anyway. I know it's their practice but you really are just a spectator. They make no announcements, and the rink doesn't interact with fans (except to give a kid an occasional hockey puck). I wish there was a little more structure from the actual ice rink. They invite fans to come but we're left up in limbo...just a pre-recorded announcement over the loud speaker, "hey practice is over now, thanks for coming, go Bruins" would suffice. Parking is iffy as there's 2 hour free parking on the streets, or $20 flat fee on weekends in the garages. We thought the practice would be longer so we parked in the garage. But now knowing it might end early, free street parking would've worked just fine. As for the rink, I can't speak to the other things they offer, but just walking through I noticed signs for public skate, skate rental, skating classes for kids and adults, and even birthday parties. Anyway it's still a cool experience either way. Now knowing it's more chill and can end early, I'd be more prepared for next time.

Few places in American sports carry the weight, history, and personality of Fenway Park. What can…read morepossibly be said about this legendary ballpark that hasn't already been written thousands of times before? As it turns out... quite a lot. Stepping inside Fenway feels less like entering a stadium and more like walking into a living museum dedicated to baseball itself. Every section, corridor, and seat seems to hold a story from generations past. The famous ballpark is steeped in rich history, both widely known and perhaps not so well known to the casual observer. Our tour guide did a fantastic job bringing that history to life, walking us through everything from the Curse of the Bambino to the legendary Green Monster, the Red Seat, and countless stories in between. Hearing the background behind these iconic moments while standing in the very place where they occurred adds an entirely different level of appreciation for the game and for the city of Boston itself. One of the most fascinating stops was the Red Seat, marking the location of Ted Williams' incredible 502-foot home run -- the longest ever measured at Fenway Park. Standing there gives you a genuine sense of awe at what was accomplished in an era long before modern analytics and technology transformed the sport. Of course, no discussion of Fenway would be complete without mentioning the Green Monster looming over left field. Seeing it in person is something every baseball fan should experience at least once. Television simply cannot capture its scale, character, or the strange charm it brings to the ballpark. What makes Fenway truly special, however, is not simply the architecture or the statistics -- it's the feeling that baseball history still lives here. Unlike many modern stadiums that can sometimes feel overly commercialized or sterile, Fenway Park has retained its soul. The imperfections are part of the magic. Narrow concourses, aging beams, hand-operated scoreboards, and seats with imperfect sightlines somehow combine to create an experience that feels authentic rather than manufactured. Whether you are a lifelong baseball fan or simply someone who appreciates history and tradition, a visit to Fenway Park is absolutely worth your time. It is far more than just the home of the Boston Red Sox -- it is a living piece of American sports history that continues to stand the test of time.

Overall the atmosphere for a sold-out, in-conference Division I basketball game was pretty poor. The pep band was about the size of a normal jazz band and I couldn't ever hear the student section. The majority of the spectators were alum or people who were affiliated with the team and sadly the support felt very half-hearted. I understand that Harvard is not a basketball school but this is a team that at the time was still in contention to make the NCAA tourney and given the lackluster spirit of the fans, it seems like playing at home for them was not as advantageous compared to other arenas. Unfortunately there was also only one concession stand and based on the fact that only 2 people were staffed, I'm assuming that the games are usually not sold out. The line for food at our game was so long that one of my friends basically missed an entire quarter so he could get a popcorn and coke. One very good aspect of this place is that all the seats are very close to the court and only cost $12. It's great to watch D1 players play when you're only sitting 10 feet away from the court, as it's hard to appreciate how quick and athletic these guys really are when watching from far away or on tv. Overall a game at Harvard is obviously not going to be the same experience as one at a larger school, but has more of a high school atmosphere with a higher quality game.

Quality I spent many Saturdays cheering for the Eagles football team during my college years and it was a blast coming back. For an exciting televised match-up, fans from both teams packed the stadium creating one of the best atmospheres I could remember at Alumni Stadium. However, even on days when the stadium is empty for a dud of a game, it still makes for a fun afternoon. The one caveat is always the weather, which can quickly ruin a good time. Quantity Alumni Stadium has a capacity of around 45,000, but you will hardly ever see it close to that packed. It does not compete with some of the mega stadiums around college football, but it ensures everyone has a good view of the action. Value Even for the bigger games, tickets are not too hard to come by and usually are reasonably priced. It usually is a matter of how well the opposing team travels. Beers and food are overpriced in the stadium, but that is to be expected. Ambiance Alumni Stadium sits on the Boston College Chestnut Hill campus right outside the city of Boston. It is strictly a college stadium and serves a smaller campus population, so does not compare to the mega stadiums for professional teams or many public universities. Its most recent renovations came in 1995, but the stadium has been maintained well and still feels relatively new. Massive screens on the ends make sure you can enjoy the game regardless of where you sit, but most seats keep you close to the field. Proximity of the field to the nearby reservoir does create a breeze, which on already cool days can feel even cooler. Just make sure to dress warm. Crowd The stadium is often empty for Saturday afternoon kickoffs, but for a big game under the lights the place was rocking. Unfortunately the stadium was not ready for the big crowd, and limited bathrooms and concession stands meant lines stretching around the stadium. However, the fans are some of the most laid-back and polite people you will meet at a college football game. Service While Alumni Stadium is a modern facility, it struggles with large crowds. Even with staff working fast and hard, lines quickly form near the concessions areas. The good things are they are adept at getting folks into the stadium quickly and despite the more crowded game, the bathrooms were kept in good shape. Parking The campus has limited parking on an average day, so during football games things get out of hand. Car service companies or public transportation are the better options to get to and from the stadium. Extra Even as a graduate of Boston College with many fond memories, I have no illusion that Alumni Stadium is a great place to see a game. However, it gets the job done and the friendly fans make it a fun atmosphere to enjoy some football.

Most ppl are ordering beer while you wait in a tremendously long line to get your expensive food. Guess it's to be expected since it's a stadium but at least dont give us the smallest hot dogs in the world. I get huge filling ones at Costco for 1.50 that's including a drink.
