Our new favorite place for fresh produce! The renovation is complete and both the farm and farmstand are absolutely stunning! From pick your own flowers to fresh produce and goods from local businesses, this is a new go-to spot. They offer a CSA program and many events coming up!

Went flower picking here with my friend in august! The flowers are very pretty, and the staff is super kind and encourages you to really fill your cup. We went later in the day so some flowers were already picked through. They also have vegetables to pick there! I would recommend wearing closed toe shoes and going before things get picked over!

In the middle of the poshest of the posh suburbs west of Boston is a wonderful, surprising, not-for-profit farm that's as charming and rustic as anyone could dream. Although fairly minimal in varieties and type of product offered (vs the more restaurant-oriented Verrill Farm), the farmstand sells only what the land is yielding at that moment in time. They don't grow corn, but do buy it from another farm in Concord - and it is wonderful, sweet, and fresh. They sell honey made from hives they keep on the property (you can see the bee boxes from the road) and have a good mix of flowers, greens, herbs, tomatoes, peas, beans, squash, etc depending on the week and the month. And the pick your own is wonderful if you manage to catch it during season. Don't forget to bring lots of cash! Your credit card is no good at the shop, which is just a primitive structure similar to the one Lucy stood at it when dispensing five cent advice, but with a roof.

We went for a bouquet making workshop with Heather and had the best time! The flowers were stunning (and the sunflowers were too). She was very kind & guided us, but also gave us our space. She gave our pup treats and water & was so lovely the entire time. We walked away with a ton of produce and amazing sourdough! (Really good!) love lands sake. Drove from Quincy, and it was worth every minute! Please go!

They carry Pasteur Rased Meats & Eggs. You can also pick your own flowers here. They also have a tiny Little Free Library. They have educational opportunities on this unique historical property. They hold Seasonal Special Events like Farm to Table, a Vegetable Harvest, Tours with chicken & pigs & cider & donuts, Cooking Classes, Holiday Wreath making & other activities. We stumbled upon this place by accident on our Ice Cream Adventures. We really didn't spend too much time here because other things were planned for the day. What we did see we really liked & will come back here another time to explore in more detail. What we did do was to check out their country farm store & picks up 2 pints of ice cream to go. The Mint Chocolate Chip & Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp were both Great! To make it worth your trip you can check out 2 other good places that are close by Ponyhenge in Lincoln - a Kitchy roadside attraction that's Free. There are Rocking Horses that mysteriously multiply & rearrange themselves. There's also Dairy Joy in Weston that's been there for over 60 years that has an old-school classic Creamsicle soft serve, Java berry & the classic marble twist vanilla and chocolate. Winter or summer - this is a wonderful place to shop for local food, crafts and artisan products…read more There's always something delicious (pies, cookies, fresh produce, fish caught that very morning and even locally sourced meats). I've purchased hand-made jewelry and handbags as well as CD's from home-town musicians. Speaking of musicians, there's always someone playing music, which entertains everyone. There are usually toddlers dancing to the tunes. My suggestion would be to offer more ready-to-eat meals. I would like to be able to grab that day's lunch and bring it home to serve.

I am SO happy about having a farmer's market downtown. There is a wonderful variety of items to purchase with a healthy balance of produce and local goods. You can find seasonal vegetables, fruit, honey, bread, pastries, meats, seafood and gourmet spreads. Occasionally there is a vendor with unique goods like jewelry and cutting boards. There's even a knife sharpening station! As for the prices, I feel that they are completely in line with what you would pay for locally-grown produce. You can't expect to find the same prices on tomatoes as you would at Super Stop n' Shop, simply because it takes more energy and resources to grow locally and without chemical trickery. I don't know about you, but I'd rather pay a few more cents for a homegrown, grown-in-the-sun tomato than an overgrown tomato that tastes like a water balloon. Pet owners, make sure you bring someone to watch your dog while you shop. Because this is a place that sells food, bringing your pet near the tents is not permitted. (I wish there was a doggy drop-off area to help with this!)
