I loved the venue size - totally manageable and not overwhelming. Lots of bathroom stalls meant any lines moved quickly. I loved taking a break between the opener and main act to stand quietly by the water. Several drink and food options (pizza, dumplings, chicken nuggets, fries, burgers), and a free water fountain + water bottle filling station. Definitely still plan on wearing ear plugs - the music was as loud as any other venue.

The bathrooms had no line management, a terrible layout, and lacked signage so people were confused and bumping into each other constantly. The food and drinks were disappointing, but at least they had a few different options. The acoustics and sight lines were decent but the seats were uncomfortable and only 2/3 had cup holders. The worst part is that it seems like this place could be so much better. They have nice staff and they have enough space. It's just being managed terribly.

When I came by myself, I spent over an hour reading all the exhibits and information about the history of Christian Science. Pretty interesting. Today we just did the 20 minute tour of the mapparium and appreciated the artistry, engineering, acoustics, and historicity of the globe as well as the two timepieces hanging in the main atrium. All the staff were very welcoming. Brad and Steve did a great job giving us the tour. They have gorgeous tile work even in the restrooms, and speak with pride about the every aspect of the design of the building. They offer a coat room so that you can safely store your bags and water bottles to avoid any chance of dropping anything inside the mapparium. Glad to come back again with family. Very memorable.

As many people do, I only came for the Mapparium exhibit…read more For the Mapparium, tickets are quite decent at $6/adults. They have time slots running every 20min (thats the time allotted for each tour). When the time is up, the tour guide gathers the group and explains a little about the library/room before you actually enter the Mapparium. There are simple rules: (1) keep your belongings close to you [not responsible for lost/fallen items] & (2) no photos inside. The Mapparium itself is a pretty cool place. You see the map as if you are inside a globe. The cool feature about this room is that there is an echo (so one person at one end can hear the other person at the other end because the sound travels around). There is a narrow passageway that runs through the room. Inside, the tour guide explains a little about the room followed by a video which is portrayed on the surrounding "screens/map" around you. You will find yourself looking up/down & side to side to get a glimpse of everything. When you are standing in the room, there really isn't a bad view. Unfortunately, you can't take pictures inside (only via a selfie wall outside in the lobby). But nonetheless, it's a cool unique tour. They even offer free church tours, which is something else to consider.

I myself had the pleasure of playing on this field.. This is where my high school football team played played. The field has always been well. Kept it survives the test of time. Parking? Well that's another story. You're in Revere. Good luck find a spot and pray you don't get a ticket. Anyways this field the track is awesome. The grass is great. The stands are well. Kept the players and the spectators are fantastic. I love this field.

I went to see a mortified show at WBUR city space a couple weeks ago. It was so incredibly…read morehilarious. That kind of funny where you get an ab workout from laughing so hard. We walked in about two minutes after the show was scheduled to start. Most people were already seated. Several people in our group waited in line for drinks while one person went into save seats. Because we did not arrive early, we did not get the best seats. (I recommend arriving when the seating opens versus doing what we did !) Also, make sure you use the bathroom before finding seats if you're drinking (or have a tiny bladder), because the show is long and if you are sitting in the wrong spot, it is really awkward to get up and walk out in front of everybody during the show so you can use the bathroom LOL. 10 out of 10 highly recommend going to see a show in the space, which is very intimate with nice acoustics.

It was for the World Cup activation of New Balance and there were turf/artificial grass set up so that we can try their cleats. The area was large enough to hold a flag customization area, an indoor football competition, and an area to try out the shoes. The next visit was today for Boston Landing's Fit Fest and again, it was a great space to sweat and exercise. The facilities are clean and has excellent ventilation, sound system, and and straightforward layout. Hot take: I don't mind going up the stairs when you enter, it's a good prelude to what's waiting for you inside The Track. Can't wait to be back for another event! My only comment I guess is that the space could be maximized more so that it doesn't look to empty during event/brand activations? There's so much space!

As a previous college runner this type of competition is what makes it fun . From new balance stores , to gyms and training facilities to neighboring coffee shops and restaurants this is a perfect set up for a huge event. My only complaint is the lack of seating and the small stadium seats for spectators. For the money spent on this facility they could've have ensured seating was a bit More accommodating. Otherwise beautiful facility and village !

The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company does a production of a Shakespeare play on Boston Common every…read moresummer. It generally goes two weeks, playing every night at 8 PM except for Mondays. Pull up a section of lawn ... but get there early, because the best spots are taken an hour in advance or so. Oh, yeah, it's free. The staging and design's usually eclectic, and it'll drive you buggy if you're a purist who demands that Shakespeare be performed on painted period backdrops and in musty old black broadcloth and ivory lace. Taming of the Shrew had costuming and design as if they were all paisans in the North End circa 1890. As You Like It was set around 1935, with the bad guy even wearing a black pseudo-Fascisti uniform. Hamlet had a bleak, Brutalist set where the escape scene had searchlights flashing over the stage and the sound of prison sirens and choppers in the background. The Comedy of Errors was Miami Beach circa 1930, with bossa nova aesthetics and music. This isn't your high school drama production. And what it is is AMAZING. They make Shakespeare live, they make it fun and spectacular, and you might find yourself hitting multiple nights in the same year. This is my 100th review on Yelp, and I wanted to make sure it'd be a five-star I could legitimately give ... and I've only given ten 5-stars. Hit this up next summer. Just take my word for it.
